Hello everyone,
Living your life here on earth after receiving Jesus as your Lord and Saviour should always reflect how we treat others, not necessarily on literarily teaching them about Jesus, but what your attitude portray even without saying anything. Apostle Peter said in 1 Peter 4:8-9, “And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.” 9 Be hospitable to one another without grumbling.” One thing we must understand is that the when Jesus became our life, love became our life also. We are meant to reflect our life, and as we know, God is love Who we are to reflect in all that we do.
Today we can understand love because we received love first from God Himself who is love, and because of that, we can have, love for one another. As we interact with people, we should always remember the love Christ showed even when we didn’t love Him. We were meant to be destroyed but Jesus took our place, for there is no greater love than this. Therefore, we should be quick to forgive because there is no sin anyone can commit against us that is up to that which Christ took on our behalf.
As we are quick to forgive, doesn’t mean we should be gullible in relating with people. Some people could lose our trust based on what they did, which means they would have earned it back, but this is different from forgiving the person based on love. We should also be hospitable to one another easily without grumbling and this is done through love and not pretence.
Let us always reflect the life that we have obtained from God through Christ Jesus. And as we continually get transformed by the renewal of our minds, it allows us to manifest the fullness of Christ as we interact with people.
May the LORD bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you. May the LORD be gracious to you and lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. AMEN.
Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!
