New Dynamics For 2019

Happy New Year’s Eve everyone,

As we end this year, it’s often a time where people reflect on the year as a whole, what they did, what they should have done, their gains or losses. It puts them in a state where they look ahead to make the coming year much better than the year that is about to end.

As everyone looks at the year that is ending today, they strategize on not making the mistakes made in the coming year. But this has been the way it has been over the years. Many looks at what they didn’t do, which is good, but what we are to look at is the foundation of our plans and purposes even for the coming. If it is resting on your academic achievement, and personal strategies, then you have been wrong all the while all along. When I look at the year about to wrong, I look at where I was distracted from the foundation I placed my life—Jesus. And if you read The Logic of Faith, you’ll know why I placed my business, food, clothing, shelter, and my everything on Him.

Yesterday, I wrote on how seeking first the kingdom of God isn’t a joke, because, in seeking first the kingdom, we are indirectly solving our problems we would have been anxious over. Simple things such as food and clothing, as long as they fall in line with the will of God for our life, this is because some things which we think we need are not needed at all.

The main essence of all these is that God is making us understand that Jesus is not just Lord, but Lord of all. When He said all authority has been given to Him (ref.: Matthew 28:18), and those born of God operate in His power, the same power and authority He said have been given to Him. Jesus is the power and wisdom of God (ref.: Colossians 2:3), for God does nothing without Jesus. Jesus is the reason why the universe was created (ref.: Colossians 1:16-17), and how God has so much wisdom and logical reasoning beyond the understanding of man, and He has given us the privilege to have Jesus live in us through the Holy Spirit in order to function as He does. So, why don’t you receive Jesus as your new life, by making Him Lord of your life and see how He would transform your 2019.

As we receive Jesus as our personal Lord, the only way we would see the physical manifestation of His greatness is by seeking first His kingdom, which is dropping every form of knowledge we acquired and listen and follow Him. First of all, he alone knows our plans and purposes, He knows the plans and purposes for you in 2019, so why don’t you listen to Him completely by following everything He asks you to do, and you see the supernatural manifests as your normal, and people would be amazed and wonder how you did it. Jesus is your sure foundation and has the answer to every problem, trust me I know or else I won’t be writing this today.

So, have a blessed new year’s eve and allow Jesus usher you into 2019 or great expectations you’ve never seen before.

May the LORD bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you. May the LORD be gracious to you and lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. AMEN.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!

Seeking First The Kingdom of God Is Not a Joke

Happy Sunday everyone,

Seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all other things would be added unto you, is a very popular verse of the Bible said by many Christians and even non-Christians know the scripture, which was gotten from Matthew 6:33 and Luke 12:31. I have written on the verse more than once, but each time I write on this verse, it comes with a deeper revelation, which is what today’s write-up all about.

We all have our personal plans and agenda which we intend to achieve, but the moment you come to Christ to accept Him as your personal Lord and Saviour, you have to drop all your ambition and plans because to receive Christ into your life is to receive Christ as your life with His plans and purposes which He as designed for you, this is entering His kingdom, thus making Him your life, but you wonder if your needs would be met, and that was what Jesus made reference to in Matthew 6 from verse 31 which says, “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.”

Now, we are not to worry about what to eat, drink, wear, or worry about anything that troubles us, maybe, our bills, house rent, school fees. All these appear as though we would be foolish if we don’t worry about these things because, by thinking about these things, we are strategizing on how to solve them, Jesus is telling us not to worry because God knows that we need these things. And rather than worry, we should “seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Why?

Everyone born of God has been given as a duty to fulfill, which when we focus on our duty, it is seeking the kingdom of God and His righteousness. What Jesus is telling us is that when our focus is on His work, we are living a life of faith.

When we walk with God, we are meant to be led by the Holy Spirit which is an act of faith. Therefore, whatever we do, whether in giving, and other things, we are being led by the Holy Spirit, and it is an act of seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. Then our act of faith is what pleases God, and then we see all that we need is added to us, in other words, what we need isn’t our business, but the business of God. What should be our business and focus is His work, and in doing His work, He makes everything we need available.

When you are stuck on a financial issue, for instance, it isn’t your job to start being anxious over what to do, what you are meant to do at that moment is to know what God wants you to do and do it. Your focus should on His work and not you being anxious over your financial trouble. As your attention is on His work, you are living by faith understanding that He has taken care of your need, and you would see your financial troubles disappear. This is the truth, and what Jesus wants us to do, our focus should be on that which He has called us to do, and when we focus on it, we please the Lord God, which is an act of faith by us, and we see our needs met.

It doesn’t happen like magic, the truth is that what we don’t know is that when we take our attention off our worries and focus on what we were called to do by calling, resources would be needed for us to carry out His assignment, and this is where all other things are then added, and we find out that what we were worrying over was answered.

God cannot give you an assignment without providing the resources and tools you need in getting it done. But if you don’t focus on His assignment, you won’t get the resources you need to get His assignment done, and your worries linger because, in the process of His provision of resources, your needs are being met! So, let’s be wise

The Hunger For Jesus

Happy Weekend everyone,

Yesterday, I wrote on The Logic by Faith, which was an eye-opener to what we know but which many haven’t taken our time to reason out how interesting God intends walking with Him to be. As we now understand that the logical reasoning of God is based on His principles which rests in Christ Jesus who is the power and wisdom of God (ref.: 1 Corinthians 1:24), God Himself has given us Jesus as our new life, which we receive by confessing with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead (ref.: Romans 10:9), then Jesus Christ becomes our new life.

As we now have Jesus as our life, through the Holy Spirit, we are led in line with the path of Jesus which is the path of God, which is the logic of God by faith. Now, knowing that Jesus is power and wisdom of God and now our life, it is our duty to search deeply to know Him more and more, so that we fulfill His fullness in our daily lives, in other words, we should hunger for Him like one who is starving for food. And why is this so?

2 Peter 1:2 says, “Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, 3 as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue” What we need to understand is that Jesus is now our life, for without Him we can do nothing (ref.: John 15:5), we then need to know the life we have now obtained. Not only that, 2 Peter 1:3 says His divine we have obtained as our life has given us everything that pertains to life and godliness, in other words, there is nothing we would ever do here on earth according to the plans and purposes of God that Jesus is not the answer to in terms of anything that our life consists of, just name it. So, as the scripture advises us to meditate on the word of God, what it means is that we should look for Jesus in every single verse. He is our life and all in all. This is not just an expression, it is the reality on ground we need to understand.

We are to hunger for Jesus more than the food you, treat Him as if He is the only air to survive. But one thing we must understand is that we are not hungry for Jesus for our selfish interest, but for what God has called us to do here on earth. We are to live for Christ and not for ourselves. He said that He came to serve and not to be served, likewise, we are to serve and not to be served, and this is done when walking with God in Jesus Christ. And as Jeremiah prophesied in Jeremiah 9:23-24 that no one should glory in his wisdom or his might or riches, but those who must glory, must glory that he understands and knows God [Jesus], because of this what God delights in.

Hunger for JESUS to the glory of the NAME OF THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY.

The Logic by Faith

Hello everyone,

Do you know that there is logic in faith? The reason why I’m saying this is because most times, faith often times doesn’t make sense, but that is because we really don’t take our time to reason, and when I say reason, I mean reason in believing the One who told you—God. The logic of faith isn’t something that should sound impossible, but something that we can reason with.

Using a simple definition of logic, it is “reasoning conducted or assessed according to strict principles of validity.” So, one thing is clear, reasoning in logic flows with strict principles that are assessed. Many years ago, man couldn’t fathom the possibility of an aeroplane or television, but today following strict principles which can be explained when assessed or conducted through reasoning, have established all what we once called impossible. Something similar is what is happening to man today. They have hardened their heart to believe that what God says He has given us as Grace is impossible to believe through faith, even when evidence has shown and have proven the existence of knowledge, even though they are beyond the understanding of man. So how can faith be understood through logic?

God, has said He never goes against His word (ref.: Isaiah 55:11), in other words, He has laid down certain principles, which He can never go against. This is logic because it implies that everything God does falls within the principles He Himself laid, which is His word. So, nothing God does should catch us by surprise because they fall within the principles He laid.

To make this logic by faith clearer, His principles, are all embedded in His word, and this word as we understand according to John 1:1 is a person, and John 1:14 makes us understand that this word became flesh in the person of Jesus Christ. This means, every principle of God is embedded in Jesus Christ, in other words, He cannot function outside of Jesus Christ, (ref.: Colossians 1:16-17), for in Him dwells the treasures of the wisdom of God (ref.: Colossians 2:3).

Now, God said He has given us His principles free of charge, which we really don’t deserve, so why is it hard to believe this, because when we receive Jesus as our life, we then fully understand the logic of God through faith, as our reasoning faculty after receiving Jesus would surpass the limited logic of man. We then understand the logic of how Moses split the red sea; how the wall of Jericho fell down; how Jesus fed the five thousand; how He walked on water and calmed the storm; how Jesus raised the dead, healed the sick, cast out demons and so on, all because we have received the principles and logic of God in the person of Jesus. This is why 1 Corinthians 2:16 says, we have the mind of Christ, and the things which God did before the advent of Jesus which were mysteries because of their limited logical reasoning are no longer mysteries to those who have received Jesus (ref.: Colossians 1:26).

The logic by faith allows us to do all things through the logic of God—Jesus Christ (ref.: Philippians 4:13). Digging deep into Who we have received is what we are to do, because unlike the logic of man which is limited, the logic of God is unlimited, which is why we need another Spirit in order to understand it [Him], for as the Bible says, the words of God cannot be understood by the ordinary man because he is limited (ref.: 1 Corinthians 2:14). So, when God says a thing because we now have the logic of God as our life, we then take His word as ye and amen (ref.: Hebrews 4:12). Therefore, don’t function with the logic of man, rather function with the logic by faith.

Do Not Forget The Reason For The Season

Hello everyone,

When Christmas comes, we see a lot of decorations, the Christmas tree, food, and the white-bearded man in red and touch of white bearing gifts—Santa Claus, all these are nice. But even though Christmas day has passed, we are still in the Christmas season. One thing I have come to notice is that many people have forgotten the reason for the season, in fact, some especially children of today don’t know the reason for the season which is the birth of Jesus Christ.

What many children know is Santa Claus and Christmas tree, but forget Jesus. Even though Santa bears gifts, we shouldn’t forget the reason why we give during Christmas which is because God gave us Jesus to save our lives. The devil has crept in and has started making people forget the original story behind Christmas. Santa Claus is not the reason for Christmas, Jesus is, and those who are Sons of God should not forget this. We should always make Jesus the centre of attraction and not Santa because this is what the devil wants, as he wants us to forget Jesus in everything we do.

Yes, Santa is nice as he bears gifts to kids, but the emphasis should be placed more on Jesus than on any other thing on Christmas. And not just Christmas but in everything we do, for without Him we can do nothing, without Him, we would have ceased to exist.

Santa is an imaginary fellow, but Jesus is real and alive forever. We should not be ignorant of the devices of the devil, we should always be alert, because deceit is his way of life, and God would give us the strength to keep on keeping on. AMEN.

Our Gift Was The Peace Offering

It’s Boxing Day everyone!

Being an extension of Christmas day, Boxing Day is a day set aside for exchange of Christmas gift. And as we understood yesterday that Jesus was born to redeem man from the grip of the devil and unite them to God, which was His purpose on earth through His death. His coming was a new beginning as He is the new and last Adam which was why the heavenly host gave glory to God, God and sinners reconciled, God became a man, all these were a perfect heavenly plan which was fulfilled in Jesus. And today being Boxing Day, we need to properly understand God’s gift to man, and this is my focus on my Boxing Day write-up.

The popular Bible verse of John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” God gave us a gift Who is Jesus, and why is the gift of God very important to us? He [and not it] is important because the gift of God became our peace offering. This offering explains a form of thanksgiving to God for what we have gained through the fulfillment of Jesus’ coming. Jesus stood as a propitiation for our sins, in other words, He stood in our place when we were meant to be condemned, He took the condemnation for our sake and gave us His righteousness as an exchange.

Jesus took our place and God’s wrath was satisfied. And as a result of that God raised Him up and glorified Him. He was the new and last Adam, an Adam Who was not separated from God, not only was He not separated from God, He is God Himself, and also Man, in other words, Jesus is 100% God and 100% man. He came to end our sufferings so that we can a have a brand new beginning. This is why if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation, the old life has gone, the new life in Christ Jesus has come, (ref.: 2 Corinthians 5:17) every past record has been made clean, you have been reconciled back to God, because we have a brand new life under Jesus our Adam, what perfect gift God gave us (ref.: 2 Corinthians 5:18).

So, as we share gifts, we should not just remember the reason for the season, we should also remember the purpose for the season, that He gave, so that we would know why and how to give. We are alive today because God gave, and His gift abides with us forever [to those who accepted Jesus our gift, as our personal Lord, Saviour and new life].

HAPPY BOXING DAY AND MERRY CHRISTMAS

May the LORD bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you. May the LORD be gracious to you and lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. AMEN.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!

God and Sinners Reconciled

Merry Christmas everyone,

Christmas to me is my best season of the year. Everything just feels so wonderful, from the weather, the decorations, the food, the spirit of giving, and most of all the reason why Christmas itself exist, which is the birth of Jesus. But why is Christmas so important that we celebrate it every year? The truth is that it is the of Jesus that actually makes us celebrate Christmas because if Jesus hadn’t fulfilled His purpose which was crowned with His resurrection, we won’t be giving thanks to God every year for His birth in the first place. But let’s take a look at why Christmas is very so important to us all.

When I was much younger, I acted a Christmas plays about the nativity story, which was the first Christmas. This event was so important to the entire universe that celebrating every year in modern day is not unnecessary.

In the Gospel of Luke chapter, we find where an angel appeared to country shepherds keeping watch over their sheep, “Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. 11 For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Saviour, who is Christ the Lord. 12 And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.”” Luke 2:10-12. Just then heavenly host started praising God saying, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men!” Luke 2:14. The question here is why shepherds?

The answer is simple and in three major reasons: 1. Jesus is the good Shepherd, and announcing to the shepherds is telling them that the Shepherd of all shepherds is born. 2. The angel made it clear that the good tiding is to all men which include the normal, regular and even poor people, which shows no sentiment, and Jesus has come for the whole world. 3. It also shows what Apostle Paul said that not many wise men are called, so those who would value the message were told. But with all these, why did Jesus come for angels to be so joyous?

The angels finally saw their God and our God as a man, a miracle that has never happened, and a prophecy fulfilled. Also, Jesus was the only one born without blemish, so it a sign that the salvation of man had come, as only a man without blemish could save mankind, which was why the angel said, “I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people.”

Since the fall of man in Genesis, mankind had been separated from God and were sinners thus not carrying the spirit of God. They doomed to be put to death, unless the blood of a man without blemish, which was the only way that mankind could be saved, and Jesus was the answer to that. The reason for Jesus’ coming was to reconcile man back to God by putting an end to the grip of the devil on man. Jesus' birth represents a brand new beginning as Jesus is the new and last Adam, that is why He was the only one to put an end to the evil grip of the devil on man.

The birth of Jesus was the success of a heavenly project, that which took the devil by surprise. The devil was in trouble because God Himself became a man.

Any time I reason God becoming mankind, it strengthens my spirit man, because if God in His majesty and greatness, which is incomprehensible to man, then, who am I that I shouldn’t be humble and allow Him to use me. His birth makes me understand that God can go to every length to save the ones He loves. The birth of Jesus allows us to understand that with God all things are possible, and today, through the resurrection of Jesus, He is now King of kings, on earth and in heaven, and it all started with His birth. And because of His birth, mankind became reconciled back to God, even when we were condemned to death.

As we celebrate Christmas, we should always reflect the love of Christ in our giving because without God’s great gift, we won’t be alive to give to others. Once again Merry Christmas to you all, enjoy.

The Customer Is Not Always Right! (Part 2)

Happy Christmas Eve everyone,

Yesterday, I wrote on why the customer is not always right because, in the body of Christ, the world has lured the church away from the truth, as they feel they would get more members. The devil has crept into the church and has twisted the true message of Jesus, and many are buying it because they feel it is coming from a renowned ‘preacher of God’. I then said if the focus of the message is not on Jesus in its entirety, then it is not a true message but a false doctrine. I ended by asking how it would be possible to know which message is focused of Jesus and which is not because the false prophets today are full of sweet words that have lured many away from the truth. And this is what my write-up is all about today.

Apostle Peter and John affirmed in Acts 4:12 which says, “And there is salvation in and through no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by and in which we must be saved.” The Amplified Bible. This is the truth, we are not to accept Jesus because someone said you would get that promotion or buy that house or car. Once your selfish wants being met are what someone told you, which was why you gave your life to Christ Jesus, then you are on the wrong foundation. True, Jesus has provided for all our needs and not wants, and the reason why we accept Jesus understanding the love He shed for you in your place, and what we have received through His resurrection, thus understanding that we are all that He is, and not by our making. Also understanding that He is God, He lives in us, you are now the temple of the Holy Spirit, these little things [which actually aren’t little in power], then you are on a right foundation. The focus shouldn’t be on the material things, as these are what Jesus calls additions, and not the focus at all, (ref.: Matthew 6:33).

Being in Christ is Spiritual and not physical, what do I mean by that? In understanding that you are a Spirit being, and you walk with God connecting with the Holy Spirit regularly, then it affects your physical state. The focus should never be on material things.

Everything should be looked at from the spiritual angle, whereas the false preachers pull your focus on the material things and use human strategies, coating it with scriptures with Jesus involved, the focus is physical, and the purpose is lost.

Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 3:11 that there is no other foundation anyone can lay order than Jesus. He also said in 1 Corinthians 2:2 that he has resolved to know nothing as he lives except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. In other words, three things are keys in a true message, which are the focus on Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection, what they truly mean, what they mean for us, and how with His resurrection we are to live. Our life comes from the resurrection of Jesus, and the Holy Spirit living in us as our helper, counselor, comforter, best friend, and direction. It is from this that we know why we exist, how to live, what we are here on earth for, what we are to do, materialism is out completely.

It is from the focus on the resurrection of Jesus that we know how to give, what true prosperity really is, it is with our focus on His resurrection that we would find out that we don’t run after material things, instead, they come to us as we need them to do His work. A false preacher cannot continually focus on the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus, and emphasise on meditating on the scriptures, looking for Jesus in every verse, also by depending on the Holy Spirit, they can never do that. The world doesn’t like the Truth, as I said yesterday because it goes completely against their way of life.

Jesus didn’t come to please anybody, but to bring the truth, and whoever is interested should not hesitate but should hold fast to the truth, because the truth is really interesting. And as we celebrate Christmas tomorrow, I’ll explain why holding on to the truth is fun.

The Customer Is Not Always Right!

Happy Sunday everyone,

Business is very interesting especially when things happen to your favour. We see marketing and marketers doing everything to convince the prospective customer or client by doing everything possible to get them to buy their product or services. We also see the customer relationship section where the popular saying, “the customer is always right” is always made. But today, I’m here to bring you a business where the customer is not always right, why don’t you read on and don’t jump to conclusions.

The Message Bible puts 2 Timothy 4:3-5 thus, “You’re going to find that there will be hard times when people will have no stomach for solid teaching, but will fill up on spiritual junk food—catchy opinions that tickle their fancy. They’ll turn their backs on truth and chase mirages. But you—keep your eye on what you’re doing; accept the hard times along with the good; keep the Message alive; do a thorough job as God’s servant.” The church today is doing everything to please the world so that they would find accepting Jesus as Lord interesting. It is sad that the gathering of Sons of God, otherwise known as the church have been turned into a worldly organisation, where members of high calibre meet and discuss how they can get people to give their lives to Christ, but it doesn’t sound bad right? Where they miss it is that they depend on their intellect rather than on the Holy Spirit, this is where they miss it, but they won’t admit it because they claim they prayed and fasted about their meeting. But the truth again is that, all that was just to fulfill all righteousness.

In a country like one where I come from, the basic needs of man hasn’t been met, so rather than focusing on Jesus directly, they turn Him to a 365 days a year Santa Claus who would always provide their needs. But Jesus has provided our needs why could that be wrong? Where it is wrong is that people want to hear more of their desires being met more than any other thing, so in order not to bore people with the truth, they give teachings that are not solid in order to tickle their fancy. Nobody talks on the second coming of Jesus Christ, many of what they teach is on how to make it big here on earth.

They flaunt their houses, their big cars, their promotion at work, and many other things. They link all these to giving, thus saying that it was because they gave, that was why God blessed them, all these are psychological deception. There is less of Jesus being preached and taught in churches today, many leave the truth, and chase a mirage. And this is what the devil wants, and that is why we find disunity in the body of Christ because the truth has been polluted.

There is pollution in prosperity, there is pollution on why we give to God, it is all a deception which the devil is very good at, but the devil sneaking lies into the church without the Holy Spirit knowing is like hiding a very big elephant behind a broomstick. The Holy Spirit would fish the lies out because lies don’t come from the same source as the truth. The Lord God has said He will never leave us nor forsake us, and He will always provide for our needs. In fact, He has blessed us with all Spiritual blessings in Christ Jesus, but the devil has snuck into the church and polluted the minds of many leaders to please the world to get more members into the church, and have increased offerings, just for their selfish interest, but hide under the name of Jesus.

Jesus Himself said, wide is the gate that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But narrow is the way that leads to eternal life, but only a few find it, (ref.: Matthew 7:13-14). The real Truth is not what the world wants to hear because it goes completely against what they do.

Now, if truly the church is meant to transform the world, of course, that would be where the attack from the devil would be strong, so, watch out! There are false prophets all around you right now. As I always say, if Jesus is not the focus, beginning, ending, middle and everything, that message is false. But really how would you know that, because the tongue of many false prophets is as sweet as honey? Log on, same time tomorrow, as I expose the tricks of the devil to you.

He Alone Knows Your True Plans and Purposes

Happy Weekend everyone,

The plans and purposes of every person born to the world are what makes the person relevant here on earth. Life is like a game, every character in the game has a purpose, as a character cannot play the role of another, because his, hers or its role in the game must be played. The same is seen for every person on earth, but how do we know what our plans and purposes are here on earth? This is my focus today.

Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil to give you hope in your final outcome.” The Amplified Bible. Prophet Jeremiah said God knows our thoughts and plans which He Himself designed for us, so it is obvious that God is the person to turn to in order to get the plans and purposes for our lives. So how do we get them from God?

Jeremiah 29:12-13 says, “Then you will call upon Me, and you will come and pray to Me, and I will hear and heed you. 13 Then you will seek Me, inquire for, and require Me [as a vital necessity] and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.” The Amplified Bible. What these verses are saying is that when you really want something, you search for it, not minding how much it would cost. But the truth is that God is not far away, He is everywhere, so what does it mean when the verse says, “…search for Me with all your heart.”?

God is everywhere, but He is everywhere, why haven’t we been able to gain access to what our plans and purposes are? The answer is this, we have always been distracted to the point that we forget He is everywhere. Our distractions are so much that we think God is just quiet letting us face life, and not saying anything. But do you know God has always been calling your attention, but as I said, we have been distracted, (ref.: Romans 1:18-21). This is why the only way you can gain access to your plans and purposes for your life is through prayer to God, which sounds simple, but not just prayer, it is the prayer where you search for God with all your heart. In other words, it is only when you cut off all forms of distraction, which is everything except God that you can then hear God and listen to His plans and purposes for your life, but if you want to be wise in your eyes, which actually is being foolish, then try to find out your plans and purposes all by yourself.

There is nothing as bad as working very hard here on earth and then meeting the Lord Jesus on the last, only for Him to tell you all what you did wasn’t what He called you to do. Don’t be foolish, cut off all distractions and focus on Jesus alone, and when you ask God for His plans and purposes for you, He will answer you. You have nothing to lose, but everything to gain.

Faith and Lies (Part 2)

Hello everyone,

Yesterday, my focus was on the differences between faith and lies. And I said that many have been having issues differentiating between the two due to increase in unbelief, and lies and faith are different because they don’t have the same origin, and lies is an illusion forcing itself into what is real and true. Today is a continuation from where I stopped yesterday.

First of all, there cannot be faith without hope or Grace. Faith is just the link between Grace and hope. Also, the acquisition of faith comes with an assurance which God would always give, going by how Hebrews 11:1 puts it, which is what lies would never give. When angel Gabriel appeared to Mary, giving her the good news of being the chosen one to conceive the Son of God, he made reference to Elisabeth her cousin who was known to be barren and was later with a child. The Lord God ensures we believe, as the focus is not of our selfish interest.

Second, faith is meant to strengthen your trust in God and when whatever you hear doesn’t build your trust or confidence in God/Jesus, then it is not from God. Lies, on the other hand, leaves Jesus out of the picture and focuses on the self. Also, faith in many cases sounds like what your flesh would not want to hear, but your spirit feels a conviction of truth in what is told.

Romans 10:17 says, “So faith comes by hearing [what is told], and what is heard comes by the preaching [of the message that came from the lips] of Christ (the Messiah Himself).” The Amplified Bible. So, this means that faith is backed up with the scriptures, and not just any scripture, but the words and assurance of Christ Himself, either through His words exactly or through His inspiration through preachers. This is backed up with Hebrews 12:2a which says, “Looking away [from all that will distract] to Jesus, Who is the Leader and the Source of our faith [giving the first incentive for our belief] and is also its Finisher [bringing it to maturity and perfection].” The Amplified Bible. In other words, what Romans 10:17 and Hebrews 11:2 are both saying is that the more you spend time studying the scriptures, searching for Jesus in every verse, it would not only strengthen our faith in Jesus by reducing our unbelief in Him, it would also enable us to identify when God speaks and when the devil deceives, because both Grace and lies have their respective sources, and they can never sound the same, as long as you meditate on the word of God daily.

The truth in all these is that we are not to believe in lies, [that sounds obvious right]? But the sad thing is that many of us believe the lies of the devil just because we find having faith in Grace too good to be true, Grace is true because it came from God. Everything in life is a risk, but the right risk with positive result can only come from the One who is the same yesterday, today and forever; the One whose height of love for us cannot be fathomed by the human understanding; the One who cannot conceive lies, because everything He says is true. There is nothing God says that doesn’t come to pass, whatever He pronounces, even if it were possible for Him to say it accidentally, it would come to pass. And as He has said He has given us all things in Jesus, we just have to believe it because it is true.

The world has been feeding on lies that when we see the truth we find it hard to believe, once it is founded on the word of God in Jesus Christ, then it is true. Do not be deceived, faith and lies can never be the same. It’s all about who you trust and who you draw close to. So, would you draw close to faith in the Truth or lies from the devil, the choice is left to you.

May the LORD bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you. May the LORD be gracious to you and lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. AMEN.

Faith and Lies (Part 1)

Hi everyone,

The popular statement “the just shall live by faith” is what we hear from the lips of those born of God, but living and walking by faith is not often seen or is not the first call to action in many cases. Many may result in faith later, but it is not that they take the action of faith immediately when something happens, and why is that? The reason is because the unbelief level in the world is increasing, to the point where they cannot differentiate between faith and lies, and the false teachers are a part of the major cause, as I said, a part of the major cause, which implies, there are other causes, or rather there for me is one other major cause, which is ourselves. My focus today is the difference between faith and lies.

The popular verse defining what faith is Hebrews 11:1, and it says, “NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].” The Amplified Bible. The faith we express is the belief that everything that we hope for and will ever hope for has been given to us already, but would manifest in the fullness of time respectively, because God has placed the answers to our hope at strategic areas, all we are to do is believe that they already exist, and this belief is called faith. But when you look at this, a lot of what we have hoped for, which we are to have faith in, sounds like lies, but there is a difference or differences between faith and lies.

A lie or lies, in general, is the painting of a story which resembles reality but is not. It has neither a beginning or end, this is how liars are caught because they weren’t able to fuse the painted story into reality, and that is why they keep on lying over and over again, thus trying to find a way to fuse the false story into that which is true. But no matter how well the lies are crafted, they are not true, because everything in it is a lie and has no bearing, and its source is from the grand master of lies himself—the devil. So, how do we separate faith from lies?

First of all, there cannot be faith without hope or Grace. Faith is just the link between Grace and hope. Also, the acquisition of faith comes with an assurance which God would always give, going by how Hebrews 11:1 puts it, which is what lies would never give. When angel Gabriel appeared to Mary, giving her the good news of being the chosen one to conceive the Son of God, he made reference to Elisabeth her cousin who was known to be barren and was later with a child. The Lord God ensures we believe, as the focus is not of our selfish interest. To further know and understand how to separate faith from lies, log on same time tomorrow.

May the LORD bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you. May the LORD be gracious to you and lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. AMEN.

How To Speak By Faith

Hello everyone,

Faith is a word we hear every time from the mouth of many, and if not all the Sons of God, but the question is do we know how to use faith to live, or do we know how to speak by faith. And as 2 Corinthians 5:7 says, “For we walk by faith [we regulate our lives and conduct ourselves by our conviction or belief respecting man’s relationship to God and divine things, with trust and holy fervour; thus we walk] not by sight or appearance.” The Amplified Bible, and we are to live by faith. A popular verse of the Bible says without faith it is impossible to please God, (ref.: Hebrews 11:6), which implies that there is no way you can call yourself a Son of God and won’t live by faith. In essence, if the absence of faith cannot please God, it implies that we must always function in faith, as we know the just shall live by faith. So, how do we speak by faith, taking that into cognisance first? This is my focus today.

The very first thing to understand is that before you walk, live or speak by faith, you must, first of all, know what Grace is. As I said yesterday, Grace is a person, He is the full package that we never knew we were worth having, and why is that? It is because all that we would ever need in our life is found in Jesus. Jesus is completeness and everything God has given because in Him are riches in every measure beyond what our mind can comprehend. Jesus is a brand new life, very different from the one we met when we were born. What we need to do is to know what is contained in Jesus which is what we received as Grace from God through faith in Jesus. What is this faith process and how do we speak through faith?

One thing we must know is that faith is different from hope, this is because many times we speak using hope and we think it is faith. For instance, to tell God to heal you is a prayer of hope, but to thank God for healing you, even when there is no physical sign of your healing YET, that is faith! Faith rests on Jesus’ effort and not your self-effort. Every form of sin, from the past to present and the future, [which includes, poverty, sickness, diseases, depression, death and many more related to this] was placed on Jesus. And in we in exchange got His life, which includes, wisdom, knowledge, wealth, perfect health, life and not death, joy, peace and much more. This is why we when we speak don’t speak in future tenses, but in past tense, thus, understanding that they have happened.

Furthermore, when you speak by faith, you speak like God who calls things that are not as though they are, (ref.: Romans 4:17). Faith is not something that doesn’t exist but would exist, rather, it is something that exists already that we would walk into. Faith is like a written book, and we are acting the script from chapter one to the end. Everything God said we are, is in the script, and everything has been provided for us ahead of time, and they all belong to you according to what God has provided.

So, when you speak by faith, using health, for instance, you rebuke anything that is not good health, and then you say something like, “Father, thank you that You healed me, and I am healed.” You could quote scriptures supporting this claim, such as 1 Peter 2:24. In the case of finance, you rebuke the financial challenge, and then you say something like, “Father, thank you that you have never ceased to provide for my needs.” And if it is a bill you need to clear, you mention it, by saying thanking Him for clearing the bill. You need to close your eyes and see yourself as your needs being met because they have actually been met. What we see around us are lies which don’t support the truth of the Grace of God in His provision for us. God says we are healthy, the world says we aren’t, someone is lying and it isn’t God for He cannot conceive lies. Anything God says must come to pass, but lies cannot come to pass because they don’t exist!

There are deeper truths into speaking and walking by faith which I’ll look into from tomorrow. Log on same time tomorrow.

May the LORD bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you. May the LORD be gracious to you and lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. AMEN.

Jesus and the Law

Hello everyone,

Jesus said in Matthew 5:17 that, “Do you think that I have come to do away with or undo the Law or the Prophets; I have come not to do away with or undo but to complete and fulfil them.” The Amplified Bible. I wrote in a past write-up that the law had a duty to fulfil, and the moment it is fulfilled, our focus should shift from the law to what it has fulfilled, in other words, the law became obsolete the moment it fulfilled what it was meant to do, so why focus on what has expired?

The issue today is that many people still hold on to the law believing that it is still useful, as they can still fulfil what it says. And as I also said, the law wasn’t given for us to keep, rather, it was given to show us that we cannot keep it. It was given to show us that we need another life to survive by needing a saviour.

As Galatians 3:19 says, “What purpose then does the law serve? It was added because of transgressions, till the Seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was appointed through angels by the hand of a mediator.” Now, my focus is on verse 21 of Galatians which says, “Is the law then against the promises of God? Certainly not! For if there had been a law given which could have given life, truly righteousness would have been by the law.”  As we know, the Law was given for us to know that we cannot keep it and that we need a new life of righteousness. And now that Jesus has fulfilled the Law and has given us a brand new life to those who have received His new life. With this new life of righteousness, why are we not keeping the Law since we now have a new life? This is my focus today.

The first thing to know which I said before is that the Law was designed and given to fulfil, and Jesus was the One who the Law fulfilled and He alone fulfilled the law, which implies that the Law has done its part and is officially expired because Jesus has taken over. It also implies that for the Law to have ended, Jesus is greater than the Law.

The second thing to know is that if righteousness could come through the Law, we would have continued with the Law, but Jesus and not the Law is that One who have given us righteousness, and He is the new ‘Law’. Therefore, our focus should be on Jesus and NOT the Law. Galatians 3:18 says, “For if the inheritance is of the law, it is no longer of promise; but God gave it to Abraham by promise.” Verse 24-25 says, “Therefore the law was our tutor [Law] to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith. 25 But after faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor.”

Again, the scriptures call the Law the ministry of death, (ref.: 2 Corinthians 3:7). 2 Corinthians 3:9 says, “For if the service that condemns [the ministration of doom] had glory, how infinitely more abounding in splendour and glory must be the service that makes righteous [the ministry that produces and fosters righteous living and right standing with God]! The Amplified Bible. 2 Corinthians 3:11 also says, “For if that which was but passing and fading away came with splendour, how much more must that which remains and is permanent abide in glory and splendour!”

The Law came from God, but after we’ve been made righteous, God gave us something, not just something, someone better than the Law—Jesus Christ. The point here is that the Law and the Prophets had been talking about Jesus all along, so why have the writing, when you can have the writer of the written works living inside you. This is why Jesus is greater than the Law. He Himself is righteousness personified and He lives in everyone born of God. For as Hebrews 8:10 says, revealing a prophecy of Jeremiah which says, For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.”

The law stated in the verse above is not the law of the old covenant, but the law of faith given to us by Jesus, which is what everyone born of God should understand. The Law which ushered in Jesus is obsolete or out of use, (ref.: Hebrews 8:13). The new law, which is the law of faith is the acceptance of the Grace given to us, all that Jesus became in His resurrection is what we have become. In other words, Grace is personified in this case, and He is Jesus, He is our new life, our law, our all in all, our everything and much more. Look unto Jesus alone and not that which has been abolished.
