This Is Why You Are Righteous

Hello everyone,

If I ask you if you are righteous, I could guess your possible answer, which would be “No” or “I’m not”. But do you know that you are righteous? Now, when I say do you know, I’m referring to every one of you on earth. It sounds strange or incorrect, right? Wrong, now let me tell you why everyone is righteous.

When Jesus died on the cross, He didn’t die for only a selected few or a set of people. Jesus died for the whole world, (ref.: John 3:16). The Amplified Bible puts 2 Corinthians 5:21 thus, “For our sake He made Christ [virtually] to be sin Who knew no sin, so that in and through Him we might become [endued with, viewed as being in, and examples of] the righteousness of God [what we ought to be, approved and acceptable and in right relationship with Him, by His goodness].”

Jesus Himself was the only One who was perfect before God, no matter how much we tried to be perfect before God we couldn’t attain perfection, in other words, we were not righteous, only Jesus was. Now, because we needed another life to survive, and righteousness to stand before God, Jesus had to become the lamb without blemish for the whole world, in exchange for His righteousness. This was how we got His righteousness. But one thing we must understand is that God gives, and it is left for us to take. In other words, it is our choice to receive what God has offered us, which is why in attaining the righteousness of God is to believe in the One who gave it to you because the righteousness of God is Jesus Himself. You cannot receive or use what you don’t believe in; Jesus and righteousness are one and the same. Which is why John 3:18 says, “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”

God made everyone on earth righteous, but it is left to us to receive this righteousness or to reject it, and it is as simple as confessing with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead that you receive the righteousness of God, (ref.: Romans 10:9). This is the way because that was how Jesus gave us His righteousness in exchange for our sins. Therefore, confessing and believing what is in Romans 10:9 is an attestation and an acknowledgment of what Jesus did by giving you His righteousness, which is actually Himself.

We must know that we are not righteous by what we did, but by what He did, which is by grace lest any man should boast, (ref.: Ephesians 2:8).

May the LORD bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you. May the LORD be gracious to you and lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. AMEN.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!

Your Desire And His Delight

Happy New Week everyone,

Yesterday, my focus was on trust and how hard it to find someone who is trustworthy. God/Jesus throughout the scriptures and in our daily lives have proven to us that He is a person you can always trust at all times. So as we trust in Him, we would then be able to feed on His faithfulness and be fed. So, how does our trusting in Him really affect our being fed? Psalms 37:4 answers that question.

Psalms 37:4 says, “Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires and secret petitions of your heart.” AMP. Verse 3 talks about trust, which makes you dwell on His faithfulness, which in turn you get fed. And verse 4 says we should delight in the Lord and He would give us the desires of our hearts. First things first, you cannot delight yourself in a person whom you don’t trust. We need to properly trust in Him, and then experience His faithfulness first hand, this is what allows us to then delight in Him, and then how do we delight in Him?

Hebrews 4:12 speaks of the word of God being the discerner of the thoughts and intents of our hearts. When we get to know who Jesus is by study who He is, His presence, being so pure cleanses our hearts and we reason in purity, as He is, thus our delight in always about Him, because we have come to trust Him and experience His faithfulness. In doing so, we see the desires of our hearts manifest. The desires of our hearts become that which is not selfish, but that which allows us to give glory and praise back to Him, because, when we got to know Him more, He cleansed our heart, by allowing His fullness which we received when we became born-again manifest in our mind, will, and emotions, which is our soul, and with that we see Him manifest in our body, as you are now the righteousness of God, (2 Corinthians 5:21). This is a great experience which God Himself has destined for all of us, it is left to you to receive it or reject it. The choice is yours.

The Power Behind Trust

Happy Sunday everyone,

Really, is it easy to trust a person in this world that we live in? Well, it isn’t, but that doesn’t mean it is impossible to trust. For you to trust a person, that person must have proven himself worthy in many cases for another person to trust him. And you need to be close to a person to find out how much you can trust the person. To trust could also mean to rely on, lean on, and be confident in a person, and as I said, it is not easy to find a person who you can always count at any and every time.

Psalms 37:3 says, “Trust in the LORD, and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.” How do we know God is faithful? We know this because He has always proven Himself worthy of trust at every moment. Every time He tells a person to trust Him, that person never gets forsaken, and this gives good reason to trust God, (ref. Psalms 37:25). He has done this and He keeps and will always show Himself worthy of trust.

The God is not a man that He would lie, nor a son of man that would need to repent. He also said He is the Truth, not just that He says the truth, He Himself is the Truth personified, (ref. Numbers 23:19; John 14:6). Psalm 37:3b from the Amplified Bible says, “so shall you dwell in the land and feed surely on His faithfulness, and truly you shall be fed.” When you come to understand how trustworthy God/Jesus is then you would then be able to feed on His faithfulness, and truly you will be fed, and why is that so? It is because you trust Him. So how does my trusting in Him really affect my life? Log on tomorrow to find out.

Beyond Authority

Happy Weekend everyone,

Going through the Bible especially the heroes of Bible, such as Abraham, Jacob, Moses, Joshua, and others, there is something that was used by each of the heroes which made them stand out or which they are known for, what do I mean by that? God gave Jacob a ladder, He gave Moses a rod, He gave Joshua a shout, He gave David a stone, He gave Elijah a mantle, God gave every hero something which displayed the power of God’s presence. Let’s take a look a Moses.

Moses was given a rod which he took to go and free the children of Israel from the most powerful nation [Egypt] in the world at that time. With the rod, Moses sent plagues to Egypt; he sent split the red sea into two; he gave the children of Israel food and water with the rod and many more. The power of God was in the rod of Moses because God Himself told Moses to use the rod to lead the people. We could see the similar power of God in the stone David used to strike Goliath dead, and also the mantle of Elijah which carried the power of God in it. We read these stories and we are filled with awe. The truth we need to understand is that none of these tools used by these heroes had that which God has given those who are born again today. In other words, if we were filled with awe over the heroes that I mentioned above, the world should be filled with greater awe on what those who are born again have been given, and the early church displayed a bit of this power. So what is this power which God has given us?

If God gave Moses a rod, David a stone, Joshua a shout, Elijah a mantle, what has God given us which is more and even the most powerful ever? It is the NAME OF JESUS! Jesus said when He resurrected to the disciples that all authority in heaven and earth has been given to Him. With the use of the term ‘all’, it symbolises the use of universal affirmation, which implies that nothing is left out; Jesus has authority over all things. At the name of Jesus, every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord in heaven, earth, and under the earth. This is the power that has been given to us by God, to all those who are born again, all we need to do is use it by being guided by the Holy Spirit.

We must believe in the authority of Jesus as we move about and live our lives. Remember, the authority is not us but Jesus, all we need to do is to believe in it, the earnest expectation of the Sons of God which the world is waiting for would be manifested.

The Truth Is Not A Lie

Hello everyone,

Do you know that whatever you believe affects your body, because that’s what mind rests on? That most likely wouldn’t be news, but what you must understand is that whatever you rest on is either true or false and this affects your body or your reality. So, how do you identify what is true or false? This is my focus in today’s write-up.

Both Joshua 1:8 and Psalms 1:1-3 talks of that person who focuses and meditates on the word of God day and night. Psalms 1 especially says the man who does this is blessed, which would also mean happy, fortunate, prosperous, and enviable, and this is what everyone would want right? Now, let’s go into how to identify truth and false, and link all these things up.

Jesus in the Gospel of John 8:44b spoke of the devil, “He was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.” Now it is clear that whatever the devil says or does is a lie and is false in every way. Jesus, on the other hand, said in the Gospel of John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” Jesus didn’t just say He says the truth, He said He is the truth personified. In other words, truth proceeds out from Him.

Jesus and the Holy Spirit, and God the Father are the same, but in three persons. Thus, when you study the word of God that says by the stripes of Jesus you were healed; you have the fullness of Christ in you; you have the mind of Christ, and many more, and the Holy Spirit strengthens you that these are in you being born again, are these true or false? They are true, but why do we not believe this? When a born-again person has cancer, cancer is not part of the body of Christ, therefore, you are not meant to have cancer. The Holy Spirit through the word of God makes you understand that you can’t have cancer, so anyone who tells you that you have cancer is telling a lie, but why do we believe the lie. This is what we need to remind ourselves every time, but why does it feel hard to believe what we know is true?

The reason why it appears as though the truth is not believed even though we know that it is the truth, is simply that we haven’t gotten to know the Truth Himself properly. We have been so engrossed on what the lie says than what the truth says and who He is, the more we meditate on the word of God says about who Jesus is right now, seated at the right hand of God, the more we understand who we are in Christ, just the way the more you know a person, the more you get closer to a person, and your level of trust increases, that’s for someone as Jesus. God is not a man that should lie, so the more you get close to Him, the more you manifest the fullness of Christ in you, and then you become the man Psalms 1 and Joshua 1:8 are talking about.

The world has its foundation on a lie, this is why it is expedient for us to know who the Truth is more and more, so as to shift focus from lies to truth, which would allow us to live the perfect life God ordained for us.

The Complete REST

Hello everyone,

The matter of entering into God’s rest is something that is deeper than you could ever think, and it is important we fully understand it. So, today is a continuation from my last write-up.

Now, Jesus is the only Man who fulfilled everything God wanted from Man, that which no other Man can achieve on their own unless they are under Jesus. Now, while under Jesus what are we to do? Live Jesus!

I said “live Jesus” and not “live like Jesus”, there is a big difference between the two of them, by living like Jesus would imply that you watch Jesus closely, study His life and do everything just Him, but you aren’t Him. But to live Jesus which is the true way to rest in His rest is to become Jesus Himself, thus understanding that your new Spirit who is the real you is the exact Spirit with Jesus and God makes you Jesus, and this because you are of the body of Christ, for without you the body of Christ is not complete. Now, what does this mean?

Healing, blessings, favour, success, the wisdom of God, knowledge, and many more are in Jesus, and they are now in you on a platter of gold, just because you believed in Jesus and now understand who He is and what you have become. Just the way you have a first aid box which contains, bandages, antiseptics, cotton wool, and other stuff in the box making up the first aid box, likewise, healing, favour, discernment of Spirit, wisdom of God, knowledge, good success, miracles, the Holy Spirit and many more are all embodied in Jesus who is the total package. In other words, to live Jesus means He is now your life, you manifest Him in your going out and coming in. As Jesus said to the disciples in John 14, that anyone who sees Him has seen the Father, likewise, anyone who sees you has seen Jesus, and since God lives in you, you don’t get anything wrong, because you’ve decided to yield to the Father and Jesus lives in you through the Holy Spirit who is your direction.

Now, since God directs your every step because you have His Spirit, who has given you the mind of Christ, (1 Corinthians 2:16), all you’ve got to do is to rest in His REST, because He has done everything for you, He has done every thinking for you, yours is to follow what He has given you, and it is now easy because you have His Spirit, unlike when you had the old spirit, following the Lord God was too difficult to bear because that wasn’t your Spirit, but you have the Spirit of God, therefore, you can live Jesus and rest in His REST, and see the world transform to the glory of God as you transform the lives of others.

Rest in His REST 2

Happy Sunday everyone,

Last time, in my first write-up on Rest in His REST, where I wrote on how through Jesus, being our new life, our new Adam, we receive a brand new Spirit, who is the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the One who knows all things, and He lives in everyone who is born of God, having Jesus as their new life, and the Holy Spirit then directs our lives according to the way God our Father ordained us to live as we yield to Him. And in doing so, we allow rest in His REST! But as I said last time, that’s not the full expression of what the rest is all about, which is why today I’ll go further in part two of Rest in His REST.

In entering into the true rest, receiving Jesus is actually the major thing. But do you understand what receiving Jesus as your life really mean? Understanding this would allow you to receive the deal of a lifetime you signed up for. Man in trying to get back to God went through moral training, followed laws, but that didn’t change their spirit, so they became a new Spirit in Christ Jesus right? Right. So, now that Man has a new Spirit, they started working hard to please God, as some would come early to church, clean the seats, greet the brethren, visit people, keep the laws, be good a man or woman in everything they did, but with all these that they did, they still had diseases, attacking them, they were still hit negatively financially, they had addictions, in short, they still had several things they were battling with, but they had given their lives to Jesus and received the Holy Spirit, so what was wrong?

The number one mistake some Sons of God make is that they feel God uses our self-effort to receive His blessings or to receive healings, and many other benefits, this is the mistake. One thing we need to and must understand is that we are not by our self-effort that we are qualified, rather it is by His [Jesus] effort and what He did that we are now and will always be qualified. Just as through the first Adam everyone born under him were cursed with the spirit of sin, which wasn’t through what we did, but what Adam did, likewise, because Jesus, being the last Adam was accepted as the only Man perfect before God’s sight, therefore, all those who are born of Him are justified before God as righteous, not because of what we did, but what He did, this is the true Grace and the true rest, (ref. 2 Corinthians 5:21).

Furthermore, every form of diseases, poverty, depression, and every form of the unfortunate thing that came from the first Adam has been wiped out from you. Your Spirit, being the exact Spirit with Jesus is perfect, your soul which consist of your mind, will, and emotions, needs to know who Jesus really is, in other words, your soul needs to know who your new Spirit is, which has to do with the finished works of Jesus on the cross, and the grace you have received, which when understood allows you to receive the grace through faith and then you start to see it function in your going out and in your coming in.

In the last two paragraph, you’ll see when I underlined the word “our” in the first line. The mistake as I said Sons of God make is the feel, God uses our self-effort to receive His blessings, which I said is wrong because it is through Jesus that we receive His blessings. The truth is that in every sense of our true way of life as Sons of God, receiving the grace of God, thus entering that rest is not by our self-effort at all, which is the use of our carnal mind, but with the use of Holy Spirit, thus resting on Jesus. The Bible says in Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” God alone has a perfect plan for everyone here on earth, thus, a purpose to fulfill here on earth. But Man has tried to achieve his purpose [which he very well didn’t know, but thought he did] here earth but failed and has caused a lot of chaos. It is only the Holy Spirit that can tell us and teach us how to live.

Now, Jesus is the only Man who fulfilled everything God wanted from Man, that which no other Man can achieve on their own unless they are under Jesus. Now, while under Jesus what are we to do? Live Jesus!
...to be continued.
