Is Jesus Enough?

We all have parents, and by parents, I mean biological parents. Whether they are still around, or we never knew them or we do. No matter who brought us up, we can trace our lineage to our parents. Likewise, the whole of the human race can trace their lineage to Adam of Genesis [before the resurrection of Christ Jesus].

Those who are born again can trace their origin to Christ Jesus, because of the resurrection of Christ

Jesus brought about the emergence of the last Adam, who is Christ Jesus Himself. This is why those who are born again are born anew, but this time under the kingdom of Jesus, as Jesus is their Adam. There may not be any difference in appearance, but their spirit is different because it is birth by the spirit (ref.: John 3:5-6).

Now, every Son and Daughter of God claim that Jesus is the King of kings and Lord of lords (ref.: Revelations 17:14; 19:16), He alone is our all in all, for without Him we can do nothing (ref.: John 15:5). But even with this confession, the Sons and Daughters of God experience things in the world that they could question if Jesus is enough. And the default answer they would give is that Jesus is enough. But really, why is Jesus enough?

This question is critical because when the Sons and Daughters of God are sent into the world to carry out their mission, we see that we use the tools of the world, some of us go to school, work in offices, and others and then the world starts to rub off on some, and they bend off their mission. So, what makes Jesus enough because we end up using all the tools, the tech and other things of the world? How is Jesus enough? Is He really enough? The answer is yes. Allow me to elaborate.

Jesus Christ gave us all things. He knew that He made us in the image and likeness of God. Even when Adam fell in Genesis, the creative ability never stopped, which is why we have seen development over the centuries because of the creative ability of God in man. Now, Adam had a father who is God (ref.: Luke 3:38).

Now, stay with me. Adam’s relationship with God was that of a father and a son, as you could see in Genesis 3 when God visited Adam. Going by how God spoke, it sounded like it was a regular visit or fellowship. But there was a disconnection between Adam and God, his father, when he ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, and the disconnection between Adam and God was sin, standing between God and man.

But Adam, even after he fell, still had his creative ability, but whatever Adam or his offspring created had its negative side. This could be immediate or in the long run. There was a need for a solution. This was why Jesus came to free all of mankind.

Jesus of Nazareth died to free all of mankind from the chains of sin. And then, Jesus the resurrected was a brand new beginning, the one who connects us back to our Father as a pure and holy person in His sight, born anew. And as many as receive this opportunity become born again.

So, how is Jesus Christ enough?

Being born again means that you now have the spirit of God residing in you. And the Adam you are now under is God Himself, the flawless Jesus.

Now, the studying of the word of God is the knowledge that anyone can obtain, but to meditate on the word, what you gain beyond knowledge is wisdom, which only those who are born again obtain. Then the Holy Spirit interprets the word of God to you, where you gain understanding. In doing this, the Holy Spirit directs your creativity to be in sync with God’s purpose for you. You are free to create anything, but you are now in sync with God, you understand your purpose, and your creation is not off anymore.

So, when Sons and Daughters go into the world, they create in line with their purpose, or they use the tools they see to create in line with their true purpose to the glory of Christ Jesus in the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Remember, you have the fullness of the Godhead living inside of you. Jesus is your life (ref.: Colossians 3:4), so create like your Father does. Allow the Holy Spirit to direct your path in your creation to fulfil His purpose for you here on earth. Jesus is more than enough!

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t? Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised you from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank you for saving me!” Congratulations—you’re born again, and you are now brand new!
