The Power of Your Imagination

There is something very unique about God in what He does: His power of creativity. When you read the book of Genesis chapter 1, you find God in the art of creation. It must have been outstanding for the angels to watch the bringing something out of nothing, things that had never before existed.

But when you read about the creation of man in Genesis 1:26a, something is striking. God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness” What does this mean? It means that man was not just created in God's image and His likeness. In other words, humans were the only ones of God's creation who were given the privilege to create. Wow!

Creativity comes from our imagination. In Genesis 11, the tower of Babel was built. But the creativity came from the imagination of man, as God said in Genesis 11:6, "And the Lord said, Behold, they are one people and they have all one language; and this is only the beginning of what they will do, and now nothing they have imagined they can do will be impossible for them." AMPC.

The imagination of man is the birthplace of creativity. God created man to be creative just as He is. But Adam fell and the whole world is in a fallen state. Isn't the ability to create a dangerous tool in the hands of man? The inventions over the years that have led to the civilised state that we are in are a result of the use of the imagination, that is, the power to create.

The devil puts thoughts in man to imagine, that if he falls prey, he creates. The devil knows that the only way he can ruin the life of anyone is through their imagination, by polluting it so the man can use it to create if he rests on what he placed there. This is why God asks every Son or Daughter of God to meditate on His word day and night for it to shape the imagination.

So, how do you harness this ability for your good without stepping on God's toes or out of line?

Log on next time and find out how.

What is the Work of the Believer?

Let's go all the way to the beginning. God made man and woman on the sixth day (ref.: Genesis 1:26-28). They were the very last of His creation. Immediately after He saw that all His creation was good, He rested from His creation, thus blessing the seventh day, the day of rest (ref.: Genesis 2:3). The day of the Sabbath was when the man and the woman received all that was given. The Sabbath was made for man to enter into God's abundance.

God built a system, which we could liken to a company. In Genesis 2:15, the Lord God gave man His job, which was to tend the Garden where He placed Him. In other words, the man's job was to manage the Garden, thus ensuring the system God designed was going according to plan.

Man wasn't working for food to eat, clothes to wear, shelter or any need, because all His needs were already met before he was created. God anticipated all of man's needs. But that's not what we see today, why?

Adam (the man) and the woman (who was later named Eve) went against the warning of God and as such were put out of the Garden. Adam and Eve had lost their spiritual connection with God and were dying off.

As Adam and Eve were out of the Garden, Adam began to toil the ground for food (ref.: Genesis 3:17-19). This was where he began to work and sweat for his food, clothing, shelter, and every other need. And this is where the world got it from, it wasn't the way God made man, from the beginning. It wasn't his design.

Jesus died for the whole world, and anyone who confesses Him as Lord and believes that God raised Him from the dead is saved (ref.: Romans 10:9), thus redeemed back to God with a brand new life. So, are those redeemed meant to toil and sweat as the world does?

Jesus said in Matthew 6:32, ³¹“Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ ³²For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things."

Jesus made it clear that it isn't normal to worry about needs because our heavenly Father, who is God Almighty knows that we need all these things, and has sorted it out.

So, verse 33 says, "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you." This implies that we are to live as Sons and Daughters, to live as stewards who tend or take care of wherever He sends us. And whatever we do shouldn't be because of getting our needs met, because they are already met. So, how do we tap into the amazing "work" of the believer?

John 6:28-29 says, ²⁸"Then they said to Him, “What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?” ²⁹ Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”"

For every Son or Daughter of God, their work is to believe in Christ Jesus whom God sent. Wow! This is where the Holy Spirit comes in. He is the one who leads us on the path of righteousness, in line with the word of Truth/God.

It may sound silly to base your life on the word of God and on the leading of the Holy Spirit. But sadly, the world has been wrong since the fall of Adam and came to meet the wrong way of life and called it normal.

Hebrews 4:10-11 says, ¹⁰"For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His. ¹¹Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience."

We are to enter the rest of the Lord. And those who have entered His rest have ceased from his or her work. This doesn't mean being idle, but being led by the Holy Spirit in line with the word of God, that is a lamp unto your feet and a light unto your path (ref.: Psalm 119:105).

So, verse 11 of Hebrews 4 asks us to be diligent to enter the rest of the Lord. King James says we should labour to enter His rest. We have to believe that Jesus is our rest, and in Him alone, we will find our purpose, and He has taken care of all our needs.

Our work is believing in all of whom Christ Jesus is. This activates all God has given us by grace in Christ Jesus, thus resting in all Christ has done. We are to operate and live in His rest.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!

A Good Leader is a Good Follower

As Sons and Daughters of God, meditating with the Lord is important because you receive deep insight for living. And to be a good leader whatever we do, it implies that we are good followers. When we look at the parable of the sower (Matthew 25:14-30; Luke 19:12-27), the Master gave each of his servants talents according to their abilities to go and do business with them when he travelled.

Just as those servants were, likewise are the Sons and Daughters of God, because God has given every one of us skills, and we are to allow Him to lead us to where we are to use these skills or talents He has given to us. We cannot lead ourselves, we need to be led. This is why the Holy Spirit leads us into all truth in line with the Word of Christ Jesus. But if we think we can lead ourselves, we will become like the servant who buried the talent his master gave him.

Everyone is a leader in a different capacity. However, being an effective leader implies that we are effective followers. To be an effective follower implies trusting, relying on, and believing in the word of your leader. To us, this leader is our Lord Jesus Christ.

But anyone who hears the word of the Lord Jesus, and doesn't do them will be like the house built on the sand, that eventually crashed when faced with the situation of life. And this is because did not have its foundation built on Christ Jesus.

We are vessels before the Lord to be used for His purpose. All we are to do is to abide by His leading. We really don't know the very next step. We are like the blind needing to be led, this is why He is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path (ref.: Psalm 119:105).

If your life went wrong before, stick to the leading of the Lord Jesus, and allow Him to lead you. Don't doubt Him because that never worked for you remember? Also, remember that a good leader is a good follower. And being a good follower is to trust in, rely on, and believe in the words of your leader, who is our Lord Jesus Christ, and see your life receive light and fulfilment.

It's a Done Deal

When the scripture says in 2 Corinthians 5:7 that the just shall walk by faith and not by sight, many of us don't live out what it means. In other words, we live in hope by believing it will come. Faith is not in the future; it is in the now; it is a done deal.

Think of yourself as a child who is hungry and knows his or her mum made lunch. You are aware or you know that your mum made lunch, and NOT would make lunch. Even though you haven’t seen it, you know lunch is ready. The same applies to us as Sons and Daughters of God, when we are asked to walk by faith, not sight. We are to believe it is a done deal.

When the children of Israel approached Jericho, the LORD told Joshua, their leader, that He had given Jericho and everything in it into their hands. At the time the LORD said this, Jericho was still standing tall, very fortified, with its wall so tall that houses were built on it (ref. Joshua 2:15, 6:2). But Joshua, by faith, saw Jericho in his hands, just as the child knew lunch was ready.

As Sons and Daughters of God, we are to see God as our Father and treat Him as one, because He really is one. Trust what He says, and believe that all you will ever need has been provided to you by grace. And we receive this grace through faith, by acting as a Son or Daughter to a Father which is shown by trusting Him.

Trust in the LORD with all your hearts, and do not lean on your own understanding (ref.: Proverbs 3:5). He does all the worrying for us, ours is to just become Sons and Daughters to Him as He leads us, we are to trust Him that it is done, no matter what we may see that is contrary. Just because He said He sorted out your financial issues, believe it is done. Just because He said He sorted out your health issues, believe it is done, and whatever may come our way.

Remember to always follow His leading because we trust Him, and whatever He says. We are Sons and Daughters to Him and we are to live as one.

Only Repeat What He Said

I believe we are aware of the fig tree that died after Jesus spoke to it (ref.: Matthew 21:18-22; Mark 11:12-14, 20-24). His disciples marvelled when they saw the tree withered from its roots. Jesus told them to have faith in God. And faith is our positive response to all God has given to us by grace in Christ Jesus. But when you come to think of it, activating what God has given to us starts with our thoughts and our words. Our actions follow what our thoughts and words rest on.

What does this mean? It means our words and thoughts should be in line with the grace we have received. In other words, we are to only think and say who He says we are and nothing else. The Bible says the just shall walk by faith and not by sight (ref.: 2 Corinthians 5:7). We should not pay attention to the distractions that are contrary to what He says we are. We are to just repeat what He said.

When we do this, we are confident that it is what He said that we are repeating, and not what we feel like saying that could be contrary to His grace. We become what we say.

Sometimes we may be confident that whatever Jesus says is true, but acknowledging it to ourselves may have some unbelief because of the condemnation from the devil. But when we just repeat what Jesus said, the consistency in knowing that all we have to do is just repeat His words and think it, there is this confidence in the words we speak because we know that if it is true of Jesus, we are just to repeat it and see it manifest. For as He is, so are we in this world (ref.: 1 John 4:17).

We don't really go through troubles in life because Jesus has gone through them and overcome them for us. So we confess His words of victory and see His victory become our reality.

He is above any circumstance we will ever face, we are just to repeat His words, and think them through as meditation day and night. As long as you believe that the words are true of Jesus, then they will be true for you.

The Thorns and the Good Ground

I believe we are familiar with the parable of the sower (ref.: Matthew 13:1-9, 18-23; Mark 4:1-9, 13-20; Luke 8:4-8, 11-15). The farmer sowed seeds, some fell by the wayside, some on stony ground, some on among thorns, and some on good ground.

My focus is on the seeds that fell amongst thorns and those that fell on good ground.

The seed represents the word of God, and the ground or soil represents the heart.

For the seeds that fell amongst thorns. The thorns choked the seeds and they didn't grow properly. The thorns represent the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches. The cares of this world include anxiety and worries over things such as bills of any sort, which seem to be the greatest source of worry.

The good ground is healthy ground with good soil, not having stones or thorns. It shows a heart that is completely rested upon the word of the Lord and the leading the Holy Spirit. This is a type of heart every Son and Daughter of God is expected to have, but this is not always the case, and I'll tell you why.

Any ground left uncatered for would grow weeds and maybe thorns. This shows that the good ground depicts a heart that tends the garden with the word of God.

True, there are bills and other forms of distraction that come our way, but when we stand on the word of God, we are led by the Holy Spirit, and He shows us the path to take. We just have to trust Him. To trust Him prevents thorns from growing because if we remember the scripture, the thorns choke the seed which is the word of God. To focus on the bills and distractions that the devil brings towards us cause us to give it so much strength to choke the word of God.

But when we use the sword the Spirit, in this case, could be any cutting farm tool, we prevent any thorn from growing.

The Bible says in Proverbs 3:5-6, "⁵ Trust in the Lord completely, and do not rely on your own opinions. With all your heart rely on him to guide you, and he will lead you in every decision you make. ⁶ Become intimate with him in whatever you do, and he will lead you wherever you go." TPT.

As Sons and Daughters of God, when we trust God completely, we would be likened to the seeds thown on the good ground that grew and bore thirty, sixty, and a hundred folds. Just trust the Lord, trust me you'll thank me later, better still, you thank and praise the Lord God Almighty.

The Rock, the Sand and its True Meaning

I'm sure you've read about the parable of the house on the rock and the house on the sand. Jesus said that whoever hears His words and does them would be likened to the house on the rock. And whoever hears His words and doesn't do them would be likened to the house on the sand (Matthew 7:24-27; Luke 6:47-49).

Both houses experienced the same events, but their ends differed, because of their foundation-the rock and the other sand.

I have written before that the words of Jesus have several meanings within them, and the foundations of these houses are not different, and that is what my focus is in this write-up.

The foundations of these houses represent our hearts, and by heart, I mean where we find true rest.

Romans 8, Apostle Paul wrote about being spiritually minded and being carnally minded. To be spiritually minded is life and peace, that is to be led by the Holy Spirit. And to be carnally minded is death, this means resting on your own abilities and wits alone, the fallen nature that is fazing out. This life is enmity with God because the foundations are of separate natures.

To rest on the words of Christ Jesus is to be spiritually minded, and this means your life has its foundation in Christ alone, which is the life on the rock because the rock represents Christ. This brings you life and peace. But if you rest your life on your abilities and wits alone, you are being carnally minded which is enmity with God, and it brings death, this is represented by the sand.

Both houses faced the same life issues, but one came out victorious, while the other crashed. Both houses faced rain, floods and winds it. This implies that being in Christ doesn't exempt you from trials in life, but it assures you of victory because only the house built on the rock stood firm.

As true Christians, we may go through situations that seem so tough. What we are to do is to remember the words of our Lord Jesus (which the Holy Spirit would help us in our shortcomings according to John 14:26), and rest on His words, and we would see ourselves come out of the situation victorious.

Remember, we are to live our life from victory, and not one trying to get it because we live from the victory of Christ Jesus, this is why we rest on His victorious words. The words of Jesus are alive and powerful, and most never forget that.

Our lives are meaningless and without purpose without Christ Jesus. We are like a headless chicken on its path to death without Christ Jesus. This is why Christ Jesus is the head of the church, where the church finds its true purpose, where you find your true purpose. He is the rock that our life is built on. Without Him, life is built on shaky ground, that is sand. Find Jesus, find your purpose.

Through The Valley of the Shadow of Death

Life is an unstable path and has its ups and downs. As Sons and Daughters of God, you may think your path would be smooth, but it is not. First of all, you are in a fallen world, even though you're not of the world, a clear sign that the things of this world would stand against what you came here to do (ref.: John 15:18-20).

Being a person born again into the body of Christ, your Spirit is perfect before God, but your mind is transforming (ref.: Romans 12:2). With that you could live a life of unbelief that gets you into trouble.

As true Christians, by being in this world we experience trials, and through our faith in Christ Jesus, can get out of these trials. Sometimes, these trials could be so serious, that it appears God is not in the picture because it could be a case of your mistake through ignorance, and even acknowledging the mistake you make by coming humbly before Christ Jesus, you would expect He would show you a way out of the mess immediately, but the case doesn't look like it.

The truth is, Christ Jesus in His love, grace and mercy always shows us a way out of every mess we put ourselves into. But it may not be what we would expect. It may appear unrealistic and not see the sense in taking the path. But remember, Jesus knows all and sees all. He knows the end from the beginning and His ways sort and solve the mess once and for all. It's just what He does.

No matter what you go through, even if it appears as the valley of the shadow of death, just know that the Lord is with you and it is a phase you are passing through, and not a phase to remain in.

The Lord loves His children so much that His ways have, are and will always be the best way to do anything in life, as long as we trust and follow Him. This is why everyone born-again has the Holy Spirit to be led in the Spirit of truth. And as you follow His leading, you'll manifest the finished works of Christ Jesus.

Focus On His Love For You

God in His word has written to us that He has given all things that pertain to life and godliness, which is from His divine power that every born again Son and Daughter receive (ref.: 2 Peter 1:3), which was released based on from the resurrection of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ unto to us as inheritance (ref.: Ephesians 1:18).

But there are times when we ask ourselves if God released His grace to us, especially when faced with trials.

Ephesians 3:20-21 says, "²⁰ Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, ²¹ to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen."

What this means is that grace was released to us, but it is left to us to receive it and use it. And by using it, it means to believe that we have it and to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit.

But many times it is possible that we understand all these and still do not see any result. The reason is because we haven't focused on His love for us.

When we remember that we were naturally sentenced to death because of the nature we were born with, but Jesus in exchange took our nature and gave us His righteousness, and was sentenced to death in our place, and when He was raised, offered us His brand new life of a new creation as our inheritance, it can only be an act of love.

Jesus didn't just take our infirmities and other works of the flesh upon Himself alone, He became sin itself just because He wanted us to live.

It is when we focus on His love for us that we can understand His grace given to us and use it properly in the leading of the Holy Spirit.

We became dead to sin, but alive in Christ because He took our life and gave us His (ref.: Romans 6:11). This is why we should focus on Him and not us because we ceased to exist and have embraced the perfect life of Christ Jesus. It's all about Him and not us.

By focusing on Him and His love, we have boldness, trust, and confidence in Him. We are to focus on His love for us and nothing else. This also enables us to listen to the leading of the Holy Spirit and carry out His purpose for our lives.

Let us not lose focus on the truth in times of trials, and we will His victorious life in and out of any trials and temptation IN JESUS' NAME. AMEN.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t? Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. The Excellent Spirit

Do you have a job are you a student, or are you an apprentice under someone? I am sure you know that if you're in any of these categories, you're expected to give your best to see good results which could include promotion, better salaries and so on. But in all these, there is one thing to get the job and to get the job done with the right spirit—the Spirit of excellence.

When we walk with the Lord Jesus as Sons and Daughters of God, we are expected to do whatever we are called to do with an excellent spirit.

So, what is the excellent spirit?

From the standpoint of the ordinary man, it is a spirit of integrity and loyalty. This includes time management, punctuality, trust, your yes being your yes, and your no, being your no. Being morally upright no matter what.

But what does it mean from the standpoint of God?

Let us first get things clear, it is not our works that God sees that bring us excellence, but the spirit behind it.

The spirit of excellence is a spirit of faith, total rest in the finished works of our Lord Jesus Christ. James 2:26 says, "For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also."

Faith without works is dead. What does this mean? To say something and do a thing contrary to what we said implies that our actions say the truth about where our heart truly lies. Likewise, if we say we have faith in a thing, it shows in our actions naturally without an effort. So, to say we believe all that Christ Jesus said in our health, is expected to show through our actions that we truly believe that by His stripes we were made healed. This is the spirit of excellence.

To say a person has an excellent spirit is to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit no matter what. And remember, the Holy Spirit knows all things and will teach us all things (ref.: John 14:26), and this includes living a life of integrity and loyalty in the word just as Christ was here on earth to God.

Daniel was a man of excellence because he lived his life in a way that pleased the Lord, by putting Him first before any other person or thing. His yes was his yes, and his no, no, just as Jesus asked us to live, in Matthew 5:37.

True Daniel got into some trouble because of his stand on justice. But the Lord was with him and brought him out of the mess (ref. Daniel 6). He occupied important positions under three different leadership while in Babylon (Kings Nebuchadnezzar, Belshazzar, and Darius). He was constantly promoted because of his excellent spirit.

Joseph was another person who had an excellent spirit. From the time he was sold as a slave to Egypt, he prospered continuously because of his excellent spirit. He was made the overseer in the house of Potiphar while still a slave. When he was lied against that landed him in prison, the prison warder found favour with him and he made Joseph in charge of the prisoners. All these didn't just happen, but because of his excellent spirit that he flowed with because the Lord was with Him.

As Sons and Daughters of God, we are to live and walk by faith and not by sight. This is because we Spirit of Christ Jesus lives on the inside of us. So, as we are led by the Holy Spirit in line with the word of God, we live a life of excellence. But if we choose to do whatever we want we won't live in the Spirit of excellence.

God is the God of excellence, as Jesus showed forth while here on earth. Jesus made us understand that if we can only believe in Him and His finished works, we'll allow Him to flow out physically as we're being led by the Holy Spirit. This is because this is our real life now, and having an excellent spirit should be a normal thing.

"Do you see a man diligent and skillful in his business? He will stand before kings; he will not stand before obscure men." Proverbs 22:29 AMPC

The Sixth Sense

I believe Adam and Eve had more than five senses. I believe they had six senses, and the sixth was the most important of all senses. It was this sense they lost when they ate the fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

With the sixth sense, Adam and Eve were able to perceive the presence of God when He was in their midst. This sense in many ways can be called faith, thus resting in the complete ability of God. It could be a form of spiritual eyes.

But when Adam and Eve ate the fruit in Genesis 3:6, the scripture says in verse 7 that their eyes were opened. The eyes opened here are the physical eyes we use to see today. This was why they found out that they were naked. The reason was that they used their spiritual eyes to see all the while.

In 2 Kings 6 from verse 8, where the King of Syria sent his chariot and army to capture Elisha, Gehazi his servant panicked because of the great number of soldiers sent to capture his master and most likely himself. Elisha told his servant that those who are with them are more than the army. Verse 17 of 2 Kings 6 says, "And Elisha prayed, and said, “ Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha."

The eyes the Lord opened were the spiritual eyes, in other words, the sixth sense, the sense Adam and Eve lost at their fall.

Throughout Jesus' stay on earth, He operated having the sixth sense. He could sense the spirit realm normally. He told the Jews in John 5:19 "Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner." Jesus, was always Spiritually alert because He saw with the sixth sense. In Matthew 16:23; and Mark 8:33, Jesus turned to Peter and rebuked Satan. This was because Jesus saw the spirit that was speaking through Peter. This was possible because Jesus used His sixth sense.

As Sons and Daughters of God, we are to walk by faith and not by sight (ref.: 2 Corinthians 5:7). In other words, we now have the sixth sense, and we are to use it when walking with the Lord. This should be our normal way of life, just as it was for Jesus. This was why He could walk on water, heal the sick, cast out demons, and calm the sea because using His sixth sense was normal for Him. Likewise, we should do all that Jesus did because all that He is, we have become. And we have the Holy Spirit living on the inside of us, who leads us into all truths.

Jesus said in John 6:63, that the words that He speaks are spirit and life. And only with the sixth sense can we ever perceive the spiritual things. This is why an ordinary man cannot understand or perceive spiritual things because he or she lacks the sixth sense.

The sixth sense is a sense of faith, that the Holy Spirit allows us to perceive things from the spirit realm as a normal way of life. This allows us to place spiritual things before physical things because the spiritual controls the physical.

Who Are You Looking At?

Children are a beautiful creation from God. They are filled with so much creativity that we adults wonder how they reason or develop such an idea. But when we look closely at these children we see semblance of character and language with their parent or guardian. As many would say, this is not always the case of genes because a foster child who behaves like the guardian isn't genetically related to that person. We see children behave this way because children often imitate what they see adults do, and by adults I mean the closest adults to them, which in many cases are their parents or guardians.

Parents may train a child, but the children pick what they see, and this includes language. So, if you teach a child a thing, but do a different thing, don't be surprised to see the child do what you do rather than what you teach.

It is believed that humans are born without any knowledge, and the first form of communication oftentimes moulds the person, unless another is being introduced as an addition, which oftentimes is the case. This happens through socialisation with parents, friends, and people often seen around.

God made Adam and Eve and was the only person they communicated with. Even if they could communicate with angels, the angels would only carry the message of God. This happened until an angel carried a message different from that of God that caused the deception of Eve and the eventual fall of man.

When God called Adam in Genesis 3:9, Adam replied in verse 10 "So he said, “I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself.”" God then said verse 11, "And He said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you that you should not eat?”" Why did God say this?

There was only one reason, Adam said what God hadn't taught or acted before him. So, the only way this would have happened was because another form of knowledge, not from God had gotten into him. And this knowledge had corrupted his nature. The sinful nature.

Every man came from Adam and the sinful nature apart from being seen from one person before another, the nature which is contrary to that of God was a natural way of life, because this nature was different from that of God, and it is a sinful nature. The only way out is death.

And we all know that was why Jesus came to redeem us from the cause of sin, by dying in one life and raising up in another. And this other life is the life of Christ from God, and also why Jesus is the last Adam (ref.: 1 Corinthians 15:22, 45).

For all those who are born again, we have Jesus as their Adam. But this time, His Spirit lives on the inside of us (ref.: 1 Corinthians 3:16, 6:19). The good news is all of whom Jesus is, in His fullness, lives on the inside of us. And this includes His health, wealth, authority, dominion, and every other thing that pertains to our Lord Jesus, He has made us joint heirs with Him (ref.: Romans 8:17).

What this means is that as we are complete in Him in Spirit, in other words, we have become Him, we are to fix our eyes and mind on Him for the transformation of the renewal of our minds (ref.: Colossians 3:1-2 Hebrews 12:2).

We have no business with things outside of Christ. As we meditate on the word of God, we are searching for Christ to know who we have become. And the Holy Spirit teaches and interprets the scriptures to us, and leads us into how Christ Jesus is to live and go about His daily life.

But we don't all of a sudden manifest the fullness of Christ in its entirety, because our minds are still being renewed. This is why some who are born again live as those of the first Adam, due to ignorance. We should be careful about the things we see or listen to. And what we spend our time doing during the day. They should building you up in Christ.

So, the question I'm asking you is who are you looking at? This is because if we fix our eyes on Jesus, we live and manifest His life faster.

So, who are you looking at?

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!
