The Pregnant Woman

One of the beautiful joys of life is the joy of birth. But before giving birth, the mother of the baby will have to carry the unborn child in her womb for nine months.

Now, while she carries the unborn child, no one knows what the baby looks like, if the baby is a male or female. However, we know that today scans can be taken to get the sex of the unborn child while in the womb. But even with that, the baby is still in the womb.

The woman carrying the baby could be likened to the Sons and Daughters of God, who carry the promises and fullness of Christ within them. Those outside cannot see the fullness of Christ at the moment, but just like the pregnant woman, she knows she is carrying a baby. She believes in what she carries, but others have yet to see it.

Like faith, you have received all that God gave in Christ Jesus. But there are things which God has given you that are yet to manifest physically. You know you have it, but others are yet to see it physically, just as the pregnant woman. Eventually, she will give birth, and all will see the baby she said she was carrying. Eventually, everyone will see the manifestation of what you said you have all the while.

Do not lose hope or be carried away from the promises of God for your life. Keep your focus on the Lord, and you will see all that He said manifest in due season. The Lord is not a man that would lie. If He has said it, He would do it. And He is not slow in fulfilling His promises, His not  (ref.: Numbers 23:19; 2 Peter 3:9). So, like the pregnant woman who cares for the unborn child, and believes she carries the life of a child inside her, do likewise, by holding on the words and promises of the Lord till it manifests.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!

Like Seeds

Fruits are amazing. You get a harvest and the ability to invest all in one. The substance, which is what we eat or use, is the harvest, while the seed or seeds inside of the fruit are used to invest in acquiring more harvest in the future.

Now, when the seed is planted, the aim of the seed is to become a tree or a plant that bears many fruits. But the seed does not become fully grown overnight. If the planter doesn't believe in the seed, he or she tarnishes the seed from ever becoming fully grown, unless it is planted and taken care of.

Where am I going with this?

Our words are like seeds. When tap into God's plan for us on what we are to do, or what our future looks like, or something, as long as it is from God, it is always the end of the journey or the purpose of what we are to achieve at the end, is what God puts forward to us, and wants us to focus on.

Let us note that all these have to do with the manifestation of what God has given us because all that God wants us to achieve in our lives as needs have been given to us. For instance, the mango seed has the potential of a mango within it even though it is just a seed. In other words, there are mangoes within it, all the seed needs to do is to manifest the mangoes within it by being planted and watered to grow on the path to becoming a full-grown fruitful tree, which is what the seed aims to achieve, the fullness and complete stage that any mango seed can ever get to.

We who are Sons and Daughters of God also need to speak or confess what God has revealed to us as the finish line and achievement of what God said. So, all we are to do is just to confess. At the end of the line, we have no business with the journey. To focus on the journey can be discouraging at times, but when we remember what we intend to achieve at the end, we are strengthened the more to push forward.

To confess our purpose, that which we are to achieve at the end of our journey, which could be in health, work, finances, life in general or anything, is an act of faith. Look at Jesus when He calmed the storm in Matthew 8:23-27; Mark 4:35-41: Luke 8:22-25. He told His disciples, "Let us cross over to the other side of the lake." (ref.: Mark 4:35; Luke 8:22). Jesus had said in John 5:19 that He does nothing of Himself, but only what He sees His Father do, that He does. This would imply that when He told His disciples to cross over to the other side of the lake, He was being led by the Holy Spirit. And on Jesus' mind, He was already on the other side.

Now, Jesus slept off on the boat at the most dangerous side of the boat. When His disciples cried out in panic by waking Him up after He had rebuked the storm, He said, "Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?" (ref.: Mark 4:40). What Jesus meant was that they didn't see themselves at the other side of the lake, but Jesus did by faith.

Our words are like seeds, and for us to release the full potential of what it would become eventually, we must cherish and nurture our words, which is confessing what God has spoken to us, and meditating on the word of God. And we know that the word of God is Jesus Himself. We are to focus on His life, which has become ours, to receive revelations from time to time in the leading and guidance of the Holy Spirit, our strengthener, helper, comforter, and the one that points us to Jesus.

Like seeds, never take your words for granted, for what you sow, you will reap; what you say, you will get.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t? Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!

As Though We Lost Our Memories

As a Son or Daughter of God, you must have come to the understanding that you are a new creation, (ref.: 2 Corinthians 5:17), and you live by the faith of Jesus (ref.: Galatians 2:20). What this means is that you have the life of Christ Jesus. And by having the life of Christ Jesus, the you that lives in your body is the very essence of Christ Jesus. But why doesn't it appear to us as that?

Jesus who is God was born as a man. He had to be equipped to know that He and the Father are one. In other words, He had to learn that He was God. As He said in John 10:30; 14:9-11, He is in the Father and the Father is in Him, and He and the Father are one, all this shows that Jesus is God Himself. This is the same for us, the moment we become born again, filled with the Holy Spirit. We become all that Jesus is. But why is it that in many cases we don't function as the Jesus we know?

The reason we don't function as Jesus is because of ignorance. We need to be better grounded in the fact that we are in Jesus, and Jesus is in us. So, how do we go about this?

As we study and meditate on the word of God, we are to see Jesus in all that is in the scriptures. As we know, the Old Testament is Jesus concealed, while the New Testament is Jesus revealed.

Also, as we study the scriptures we see ourselves in it as Jesus! Why? It is as though we lost our memories and we need to remember and know who we are. By studying who Jesus is, are also studying ourselves. The more we connect into all that Jesus is, we manifest Jesus as ourselves, in our actions. Just as Jesus said in John 14:12, "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father."

To do greater works than what Jesus did is as Jesus performing signs after His resurrection. This was why Jesus said, "...because I go to My Father." in order to send the Holy Spirit, which is His Spirit.

If we don't see ourselves as Him, then we cannot see greater works than what Jesus did cannot be made manifest. It is just a journal of memories of who we are when we meditate on the word of God.

Whatever we do is led by the Holy Spirit, who is His Spirit. We must be humble if we want to allow Him to flow through us, as us, because we are in Him, and He is in us. And humility is to focus on Jesus ONLY, and not on ourselves, whom the devil forces us to focus on.

And don't forget that the area the devil wants us to focus us has been crucified, in simple terms, it is dead and gone. The life in us is the very life of Jesus. So, if we focus on Him, we reveal Him, who is us, but if we listen to the devil, we act as the person we are not.

Focus on Jesus, and you'll remember who you are, because as He is, so are you in this world, (ref.: 1 John 4:17).

A Son or an Orphan?

In one of my write-ups, I wrote about why we should not grow up, why? The reason is that when we were children, God placed our parents as custodians, thus representing Him here on earth. As children, we depended on our parents for everything, we never had to worry about what to eat, drink, clothes to wear, or any other need, because our parents in many ways knew what we needed even before we asked them.

Now, the whole idea for God doing this was for us to learn how to rest on Him completely since we had learnt to rest on our parents for our living, which had become our way of life. As we grow, we then switch from our parents to Him [God our heavenly Father] for everything, He is our true Father, our parent. But what we find today is that as children grow up, they switch from their parents to themselves, thus living as orphans.

As children when we needed food, we ran to our parents, who in many ways already had food prepared for us, or had planned on what we were to eat, the same was for every other need we had. Thinking or worrying about food, drink, clothes, and every other need was our design or purpose as to why we were created. But when we take up these responsibilities as adults, we then bring stress upon ourselves because that isn't why we were created.

So, what did Jesus mean in Matthew 6:33?

Matthew 6:33 says, "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you."

Jesus said we should seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. So, what does the kingdom of God mean? The kingdom of God means simply means a home! What home? The home of our Lord God Almighty. And His righteousness means the life we adopted when we became born again, which is the life of a Son or Daughter of God.

2 Corinthians 5:21 says, "For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him." We became righteous because of Christ Jesus who took our sin and gave us His righteousness. This righteousness is a redemption between us and God, and it is the life of Christ Himself, which has made us Sons and Daughters of God.

Orphans worry about what to eat, drink, and wear because they don't know where the next one will come from. But a Son or Daughter doesn't live a life of worry, because they know that their needs are already met.

A Son or Daughter at home wakes up in the morning and has his food sorted out, this is the same for his clothing, and every other need he or she has. It is not the place for Sons or Daughters at home to worry about their need. So, what do the Sons and Daughters do at home?

The Sons and Daughters have chores at home. First, the Sons and Daughters are beneficiaries of all that the Father owns. This is why they have no business getting worried. Their focus is on their chores.

As Sons and Daughters of God, we are led by the Holy Spirit to know what chore we carry out for our Father, which is to manage all that He has, by expanding His kingdom. And all this isn't to get our needs met.

An orphan does everything to earn food to eat, clothes to wear, or any other need. It's a life of hustle and desperation. But this is not the same with the Son and Daughter of God. They have their needs already sorted out by grace through faith. All they do is meditate on the word of God, in order to know and receive revelation from God and the leading of the Holy Spirit, who shows them the path they are to take as Sons and Daughters of God.

Occupy till I come, means to expand the kingdom of God by bringing more people into the kingdom, and this comes in many ways, the kingdom business ways. But the most important thing is that NOTHING is done without the leading of the Holy Spirit. There is no guesswork, you are sure of what you are to do as a Son to Daughter of God.

You are a Son or Daughter of God in Christ Jesus and not an orphan. God adopted you as His Son or Daughter the moment you received His hands when He stretched them towards you, and this is the receiving Jesus as your life, the one who saved you. This is why He is your Lord and Saviour, because He took you from the life of an orphan and made you a Son, thus, giving you a brand new life. Live like a Son or Daughter that you are, and see that Christ's inheritance is your inheritance.

Miraculous Power Through Praise

Everyone in one way or another needs a miracle, which could be in the form of healing, financial breakthrough, family bonding, marriage intervention, and more. So, many times we pray, or even cry when these issues seem to have gotten out of hand. Well, one may say you can't blame them. But my question which is directed to the Sons and Daughters of God is this, are you doing all these in faith?

Before you jump at me saying I don't understand what they are going through, I understand because I also have had my share of frustrations in life, with tears. But what the Bible says we should live and walk by faith and not by sight, (ref.: Romans 1:17; 2 Corinthians 5:7; Galatians 3:11; Hebrews 10:38).

So, what is my point here?

My point here is that miracles can only be accessed through praise and thanksgiving. When we bring our concerns to the Lord, the Lord God on the other hand reminds us through the scriptures that all our concerns have been answered through the finished work of our Lord Jesus Christ. So, our focus won't be on asking, because we are now Sons and Daughters of God, and being a Son or Daughter of God implies that you have the fullness of Christ Jesus as an inheritance as the free gift of salvation. But in many cases, we don't see our prayers being answered despite knowing that we have received them in Christ Jesus. So, what are we to do, praise and thank God.

Thanksgiving is an act of faith that you stand on and have received what Jesus has done for you. Praise, on the other hand, shifts our focus from the distractions of this world onto God/Jesus. And as we keep on focusing on Jesus, we without knowing it, strengthen our faith in Jesus. and we eventually see the physical manifestation of what Jesus has done for us because we eventually align ourselves with the grace of God.

The absence of continuous praise and thanksgiving is to give room for the distractions of this world.

As Sons and Daughters of God, what we receive from God are miracles, but divine favour, because of His grace. He has given us all things pertaining to life and godliness (ref.: 2 Peter 1:2-3), so it is left to us to activate through the positive acceptance of His grace (all that He has given to us as an inheritance of the free gift of salvation in Christ Jesus). And we must always remember this.

Adam and the Tree of Life

Jesus is seen as the last Adam. And for Him to be known as the last implies that there is a first Adam. So, quickly go back to the book of Genesis and take a closer look at the life of Adam.

Adam, the first man created by God was placed in the Garden of Eden to live and tend it. God placed two trees in the garden, which are the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. God then told Adam that he could eat of all the trees except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. This was so serious because, God said that, of the day he ate off that tree he would die.

Now, God knows all things and has given man free moral agency, where he has the freedom of choice. God had provided the way to redeem man, knowing the choice Adam was going to make, that's where Jesus came in as the last Adam.

But my focus in today's write-up is to ask the very important question, which is, what would have happened to humanity if Adam ate of the tree of life?

To go into the detail of the answer, let's take a look at what happened to man when Adam ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

When Adam ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, he died immediately. Death here meant a spiritual death. Adam detached himself from what was sustaining his life, and that was God. Adam just withered off as time passed till completely gone. Before that, he had offspring, who sadly were like his fallen nature, not having life.

Romans 5:12 says, "When Adam sinned, the entire world was affected. Sin entered human experience, and death was the result. And so death followed this sin, casting its shadow over all humanity, because all have sinned." TPT.

Now, what would have happened to man if Adam ate of the tree of life and not of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, would have been that Adam would have been translated into the fulness of Christ as we know it now. And every child born of him and on and on would have been born of God from birth.

The tree of life symbolises Christ Jesus, Himself. And don't forget Jesus is God Himself. Adam would have had God living on the inside of Him.

Even though God has given us free moral agency, He always gives us the answer to life's puzzles. He shows us the way to follow but lives the choice for us to make.

We must always ask the Lord God to lead us in other not to fall victim to the devil's plans. Our focus really shouldn't be knowing the devil's plans, rather our focus should be on how well we know our Lord Jesus. The more we know Him, the more we manifest the fulness of Him, which would allow us to spot a counterfeit whenever we see one because we are used to the original and true Jesus Christ.

His Words and Your Consistency

In my last write-up, I wrote on one of the two masters that man chooses to serve. My point here after establishing the truth that Sons and Daughters of God are expected to serve the Lord Jesus Christ is that despite being told the right way to go, the choice still lies in the hands of man as God has given mankind free moral agency.

So, what is my point here?

The words of Jesus are the words of God because Jesus is God. And Jesus lives in us through the power of the Holy Spirit.

As Jesus resurrected, He resurrected into glory. He became the fulness of man, the height man is expected to attain. And all that He is, every Son or Daughter has inherited the fulness of Jesus, all of who Jesus is. This is why Sons and Daughters of God should look speak who their inheritance and not what they see.

The devil brings deception our way. It is only those who know who Jesus is that won't be deceived.

We are all growing into Christ from the physical realm, but we already have the fulness of Christ already in our Spirit, which we inherited. We are to confess Jesus into every situation we are in for strength. You either have what you say, or say what you have.

Faith is saying who Jesus is in your Spirit as real and who we are, and not holding on to the lies and deception the devil.

If what is felt doesn't conform who Jesus is, we then confess who Jesus is, the complete state of our fulness, thereby releasing our fulness into the now, thus resting on Jesus.

Sometimes what we confess in Christ may not take effect immediately which may cause discouragement, and thus making us look elsewhere. What we never knew is that as long as our confessions were in name of Jesus, it came to pass.

When Jesus replied the fig tree in Mark 11:12-14, 20-21, saying to it that no one would ever eat from it again, it was the next morning that the disciples noticed that it had dried up from its root.

The moment you say a thing, you are either speaking death or life to that thing (ref.: Proverbs 18:21), especially when it is spoken in the name of Jesus.

It is like a seed when planted, and must be nurtured. With He power of consistency, we see what we've spoken come to pass (ref.: James 1:5-8).

When you confess the name of Jesus into any situation, being led by the Holy Spirit, hold on to the confession as that which is already done. Consistently give God praise and thanks on the matter as a done deal. Strengthen yourself with scriptures allows you to hold on to your confession, before you know it, you'll see the manifestation.

The Two Masters But One

In one of my write-ups, I explained that every decision in life rests on "Yes" and "No". To say that would mean that whatever we do would warrant either a "Yes" or a "No". And this leads to my focus for today.

There are two masters Jesus spoke of, and we who are here on earth can choose which master we prefer to be under. As Jesus said, we cannot serve both but just one. And who are these masters?

Let's take a look at Matthew 6:24, “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon." God and mammon are the two masters.

I want you to calm down and reflect on what I'm about to write. Now, can you eat food with money determining what to buy, and how far you can buy? Can you buy clothes without money telling you how far you can buy? It is so serious, that you really cannot do anything without money deciding what to do. This doesn't mean that money is bad.

What has happened since the fall of Adam is that man gave the authority of wealth to Mammon. Mammon has since decided how man should have access to wealth, through toiling which wasn't so of what God asked Adam to do.

God told Adam to tend the Garden, while in plenty. But since the fall, mammon has been the one the place of authority.

Jesus came and established that He made us understand that we can be redeemed of the bondage of mammon.

This is better established in the resurrection of our Lord Jesus, who has made us understand that all authority in heaven and earth has been given to Him. This includes the power of wealth. But then again, it is left to us to decide whom we want to serve, even though it is clear now that Jesus has no match.

So, what does this mean for us, especially we who are Sons and Daughters of God?

Money under the authority of Mammon decides how far we can go. But should this be the same for Sons and Daughters of God?

The question for Sons and Daughters of God is whose authority are they under? Sons and Daughters of God are under the authority of Christ Jesus. And to be under the authority of Jesus Christ is to be under His words.

As Sons and Daughters of God are led by Jesus through the Holy Spirit, we are to trust His every word. What does this mean?

We (Sons and Daughters of God), don't live the way the world does, even in their conclusions, but through the leading of the Holy Spirit.

We should not forget that Christ Jesus is Truth Himself, doesn't lie, has the best plan and purpose for our lives, and wants us to prosper and be in health, (ref.: John 14:6; Numbers 23:19; Jeremiah 29:11; 3 John 1:2). With this, we should always go with the flow of the Holy Spirit (the Spirit of Jesus).

Our focus should never be about money, but about what the Lord Jesus said. As long as He said it, and we believe it, it is a done deal. Everything would come in line to ensure the word of God comes to pass. This is the very thing we must take note of.

So, the word of God and NOT money is our means of currency.

Do You Believe?

Belief is something that cannot be separated from the characteristics of a true Son or Daughter of God. But what belief am I writing of? It is the belief in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Without the belief in Christ Jesus, no one can call his or herself a Son or Daughter of God. This is where the transformation takes place.

What is my point focus here?

To say you believe in Christ Jesus is to know that He is God and that you believe Him as God (because He is God).

The question here is, do you believe Him? Do you believe what He says? Do you take what He says as final?

When Jesus speaks to us through His word and the interpretation of the Holy Spirit, do we take what He says as all that there is?

As Sons and Daughters of God, the words of God through Christ Jesus are expected to be to us as "Yes and Amen," without any second thought or alternative. Our trust in Him should have no plan B. This is how much we who call ourselves the Sons and Daughters of God are meant to live. Mainly because we believe in Him and we carry His Spirit.

If we have any doubt over what He said due to logic, then why did we receive Him into our lives? We must be sincere and loyal to Him even as we grow in grace and the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Do not forget, that He is not a man that should lie. His name is Truth. He knows the end from the beginning. He all knows things, and He created us. And He wants the best for us, far above what we ask or think.

Do you believe Him?

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t? Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!

Do You Listen?

I know a couple who love each other so much. In the early days of their relationship, they got to a point where the lady said the relationship appeared to be one-sided. But something between them was improved, which led to strengthening their relationship and love for each other. So, what was the thing they did to strengthen their relationship? It was improved communication. The lack of communication weakens relationships. And this isn't different between God and us His Sons and Daughters.

As Sons and Daughters of God, it is always important to talk to God, as He is our Father. But there are times when it looks as though God isn't listening to our talk or request to Him. This in many cases is because we talk too much which prevents us from listening to Him when He speaks.

Prayer is good, but the question is, what do you pray about? Is it going contrary to the finished works of Christ Jesus, or is it a prayer of ignorance in terms of what Jesus Christ has already done for us?

Vain repetition as though God didn't hear you the first, second or third time you spoke with Him. When you keep on talking and talking, over and over again, you miss out on the word of the Lord.

Do not forget, that every relationship requires effective communication. And every relationship should not be one-sided. When we speak to God, we should not be carried away that we do not listen when He speaks and leads us in the path right for us to follow. Remember, for without Him, we can do nothing, (ref.: John 15:5), which makes it paramount that we should always sit at His feet to allow Him to teach and lead us.

As we are patient to listen, we see how we fall in line in fulfilling His purpose for our lives. Listen twice as much as you talk, and see His glory shine in your daily lives.

Put All Your Eggs In One Basket?

Have you been in a situation where you need help? I'm sure you have. In many ways, you probably went to someone to know the right step to take or maybe ask for help directly, which could be financially based.

Many times people may have come through for you, again maybe they didn't or couldn't. It's not their fault no matter how sincere the person was. The fact that just played out is that they showed they were only human.

With this in mind, we have developed a sceptical approach when dealing with men by not putting all your eggs in one basket which always appears to be the wise thing to do.

But I'm here to tell you that even though not putting all your eggs in one basket seems wise, it really isn't and is also very stressful. Why is this so?

As Sons and Daughters of God, we claim we have the Holy Spirit residing inside of us, yet we talk of not putting all our eggs in one basket as a wise decision.

So, what makes us stand out as different from the world's way of reasoning? It is our complete rest in the only one whose word can never be shaken or altered by anything whatsoever. His name is Jesus.

"Wow, I didn't know that" (speaking sarcastically). Why don't we trust the Lord Jesus when He leads us through His word and the Holy Spirit?

Jesus said to His disciples in John 14:12-14, “¹² Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. ¹³ And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. ¹⁴ If you ask anything in My name, I will do it."

Jesus said whatever we ask in His name, He will do it. No, I don't think we understand this. For God never had a Plan B. He just had the Plan. He is not a man that should lie, (ref.: Numbers 23:19). Whatever assurance He gives, is as good as signed, sealed, and delivered. So, it is "over-safe" to put all your eggs in His basket alone.

We have His Spirit of truth residing in us to guide and lead us. He is the one who would tell us how to go about whatever we are to do, and how to do it. It is this complete trust in Him seeing it done already because He said that is faith. And this is how He said we are to live as His Sons and Daughters! So, why do we make decisions like the people of the world, by our so-called not putting all our eggs in one basket as the safe?

No matter the number of baskets you place your eggs in, as long as the basket is not the basket of Jesus, it is unwise and unsafe!

Again, if you put some eggs in the basket of Jesus, and some in another, it is unwise, because it shows you don't have faith in Jesus.

Have faith in Jesus because He has settled your problems before you asked Him to. All you had to do was activate by believing that He alone did it. This is faith, and putting all your eggs in His basket.

The Soldier's Life

Uniform jobs always look great and awesome. Like the soldiers for instance, when I see how soldiers move, and how movies have made it look so awesome, it has made it even more awesome. But many times we forget the sacrifices they have to pay. Defending a territory to the point of death or even attacking territories or nuisances that disturb the peace of the territories they protect. They go all the way, and coming back alive is always a way of thanksgiving if I would want to put it that way.

The life of a Son or Daughter of God is like the life of a soldier. Taking the word of God to the very end of the earth. Even though that is the ultimate goal, we receive batches of spreading this goodnews and how to do it.

We must understand that being a soldier for Christ Jesus isn't about fighting human forces, but spiritual forces that uses humans as tools to carry out their evil plans. Plans that fall contrary to the word of God.

But there is one thing that shows our Christian life properly, and that is our faith on the Lord Jesus.

Let's look at the centurion Jesus met on Matthew 8:5-13. The Centurion's servant was very ill, and met Jesus about it. Jesus wanted to come over to heal the servant, but this is what the Centurion said, "⁸ The centurion answered and said, “Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof. But only speak a word, and my servant will be healed. ⁹ For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it. ” Matthew 8:8‭-‬9 NKJV.

Jesus marvelled at the great faith of the Centurion.

One thing about soldiers is that they follow orders to the letter. Sons and Daughters of God are meant to do likewise in the leading of the Holy Spirit. As Sons and Daughters of God, we are to trust Jesus to the very end as directs us through His word and the leading of the Holy Spirit. We can never get it wrong when we trust and follow the leading of the Holy Spirit in line with word of God.

We should not be carried away with the things of this world because the devil brings a lot of distractions and suggestions. We are sent here on a mission, but when we are distracted, we end up not living up to God's plans and purposes for our lives.

Let us follow the ways and leading of God as through the leading of the Holy Spirit.
