Mystery and not History

Hi everyone, happy Sunday, sorry this is coming quite late, however, I believe you would enjoy today's blog.

I'm a person who loves cartoons a lot, well... logical ones. Why am I saying this? I watched a cartoon some time ago and an elderly man gave a saying. He said "yesterday is history, tomorrow is mystery, but today is a gift that is why it is called present". When I saw this, I marveled and GOD inspired me with this quote and the revelation is what I want to share with you.
There are things that limit the decisions of man. This aspect is what I call risk taking, but man believes otherwise.

Why am I saying this? When man concludes on a thing, he uses the theory of the past to decide what would happen in the present. An example to this is water. Now because two molecules of hydrogen and one molecule of oxygen gave water last year, last month, last week, yesterday, one could then conclude that the result of two molecules of hydrogen and one molecule of water will be water today.

In everything in life, man bases his theories on what has happened earlier (laws of thermodynamics, law of gravity etc). For me this is risky, this implies that man bases his theories on history. They can't determine  the future. The strategy used is wrong. They can't understand GOD that way, because GOD doesn't use history, instead HE uses mystery. Take a look at all the miracles in the Bible from Genesis one to the parting of the red sea, the destruction of the wall of Jericho, the feeding of the five thousand, the raising of Lazarus, JESUS walking on water etc. All these denied the theories created by man, therefore denying the use of historical theorems.

When you walk with GOD always expect the unexpected. But now as Christians we are supposed to know and understand these mysteries because the Bible says the things that have been a mystery to man have been revealed to us through the Holy Spirit [ref. 1 Corinthians 2:10]. The things of GOD are full of mysteries, but we have CHRIST in us and also have HIS mind that is why we perform mysterious things when doing things.

In line with languages, speaking in tongues is referred to as speaking mysteries according to 1 Corinthians 14:2, because when we pray to GOD, we could be weak when we pray based our five senses. This is why Romans 8:26 says "likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God". Tongues are mysteries bringing the mystery to the present. In other words, acting like GOD.

Furthermore, with the proper understanding of this, we now know why faith is very important in the Christian life, that is "the substance of things hoped for, the evidence not seen". The substance hoped for is mystery, so in other words, we are to bring things to pass from mystery. Christians are meant to be unique and easily identified because we are to live by faith and not depending on the historic theory of man before things are done. Man uses history to determine the present but Christians through the Holy Spirit using mysteries to determine the present.
