God Sense and not the Five Senses

To follow the Holy Spirit is so easy but some believers have decided to make it difficult. They allowed their old ways get so deep in their soul to point where what the Holy Spirit says seems ridiculous and unbelievable. This is because the new life and the old life don’t operate the same way.

The old life operates according to the five senses, which the world follows. Now if we keep paying attention to our five senses, we tend not to follow the Holy Spirit easily. Another reason why it has become difficult for some believers is because they seek God and meditate on His Word out of selfish ambition. Many a times this is due to ignorance in the Word itself. They seek God so that He would bless them without knowing that He has blessed them already, but they are not aware of it; the Word is alsp confessed out of context.

The world still operates by believing in the five senses which is living in the knowledge of good and evil, this is living without God’s guidance. This was what separated man from God at the beginning. Some believers haven’t come to the understanding that living in the Holy Spirit means doing everything the Holy Spirit says without a second thought. This is living the true Life (Jesus).

Jesus never had a second thought about following God’s will. The only time there was pain in following God’s will, God sent Angels to strengthen Him and that’s at the Garden of Gethsemane because He was about to carry the sins of the entire mankind. This is how to live and this is achieved by looking unto Jesus who was tempted in every way yet without sin [ref. Hebrews 4:15]. GOD has taken care of us because of His love for us, and this is the gospel truth.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!
