God Knows What He Is Doing

Do you think God doesn’t know what He is doing? Your answer would be “of course He does”. This might not be new to you but let me refresh your memory. The path in following God’s plans for your life doesn’t ever make sense. Why? This is because the world says so.

Let me give you a scenario; imagine you are in the midst of 20 smart people in a room seeing a fan for the first time. They all came to an agreement that the object in front of them is an aeroplane. But you receiving a revelation from God then tell them it is a fan and not an aeroplane. You will appear to be silly, mostly because they believe they are smarter than you because they have higher degree than you do. So because majority agreed to the wrong thing, whatever you say that is different from their view becomes irrelevant.

Some believers become intimidated by what people say. The bible says, the foolishness of God is greater than the wisdom of man. So, if you follow God, you’re sure not to make mistakes. If we analyse what God tells you to do, you will end up not doing anything. Stretching a rod toward a sea to split it in two; putting clay mixed with saliva on a blind man’s to make him see; shouting at the sun to stand still and expecting it to obey; all of which doesn’t make any sense but surprisingly they all came to pass and many more like those mentioned.

Why don’t you trust God today, lay aside your pride. The bible says, “...not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called...” (1st Corinthians 1:26). This is because they trust the standard of man more than that of God. God cannot use people, who question His authority, but He uses those who the world considers foolish, the ones who do not have anything to hold on to; these are the people God uses. Apostle Paul, despite having all the knowledge He wanted, later had an encounter with Jesus who transformed his life counted all his achievement rubbish [ref. Philippians 3:8].

As the bible says in Proverbs 3:5-6, “Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths.” (AMP). We attain such benefits because of His love for us and this is the gospel truth.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!
