Understanding Faith Is Easier Than You Think

Hello everyone,

Many times, we often times have trust issues with the message of faith we receive, but of course, the way out of all these is to understanding the scriptures which we are to study. Understanding is key, but if when we don’t believe what we are told by the Holy Spirit how do we live here on earth without worries and anxiety?

I said that we need to have true understanding of who the Holy Spirit is, and this is by studying the scriptures. The truth is that we cannot have full understanding of who the Holy Spirit is with the Him dwelling in us, but that cannot happen without having the knowledge of the Holy Spirit. We acquire knowledge of who Jesus is, who possesses the Holy Spirit at its fullness, finest, and at its peak.

Often times we need to first believe that the Holy Spirit of God and Jesus can never lie, (ref. Numbers 23:19), this is one truth we need to believe, but if you don’t believe this, how is it that you trust new technologies when they come out, for example, a radio, how are you sure what is transmitted at the broadcasting station is exactly what you hear? We just believe that the person we hear is the person who is at the broadcast station, the same goes for phone calls. Although, this is not the same with faith, but where I’m driving at is that we tend to believe new things just because it is science, but we have doubts over what the scripture says about us?

I saw a quote which made a lot of sense, it says, “Our lack of intimacy with God causes a void that we try to fill with the frailest of substitutes.” Deep down in our heart, we know that there is something missing, a void deep down. I saw another quote, it says, “When the Holy Spirit lays something in your heart, move without hesitation. You have no idea who may be depending on your immediate obedience.” The question now is why is having faith so difficult these days, why are people turning away from God these days? Log on next time as I look into these aspects.

May the LORD bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you. May the LORD be gracious to you and lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. AMEN.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!

Faith and The Now

Happy Sunday everyone,

Faith, faith, faith, again I’ll take a look at faith, but this just as before, I’ll break it down further. As I explain faith again, I’ll link with my Now theory.

Now, as I said last time that our entire life already exists, this is linked with faith. Albert Einstein discovered how faith works unknowingly when he explained how time functions, but he didn’t know he did. I said yesterday that a message of faith given to us isn’t just a message we should believe by staying positive. The truth is that the message of faith is what already exists. If I may break this further in a layman way, let’s take you standing on a piece of land which is about 80 hectares. Now, you haven’t ever been to this place before, and you have no idea on what exists on the land.

Picture yourself at the beginning of the land, at every 200 metres on the land there is a major landmark, as you were about going in, someone who was had gone in was coming out and told you all the landmarks you would see as you go in; now, the question to ask yourself is, are those landmark existing or going to exist? Of course they already they exist and NOT going to exist! With this, this is what Hebrews 11:1 mean when it says, “…substance of things hoped for…evidence not seen.”

Now, what you hoped for now exist on the land and not going to exist, the evidence is not seen yet because you haven’t gotten there, which doesn’t make those landmarks any less existent. So, let’s get back to our regular self, when you receive a message of faith, as long as it comes from God, it is as though God has looked ahead of you and is now telling you what you would face when you get to that point. Of course, before you got the message of faith, you didn’t know what existed on the land, but someone, who is God at this point is giving a message of faith, because God cannot lie, all you have to do is to trust Him, which is what faith has been all the while.

Another aspect of faith is that there are great treasures on the land which belongs to Jesus and He has decided to own every one of them for free without working for them, all you have to do is to follow His guide on how to find these treasures, because you won’t be able to find these treasures on your own. And just as Psalm 119:105 say, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”

Faith and hope are two different things, and the message of faith comes from Grace which may sound too good to be true, but remember the message of Grace didn’t come from your effort but from the effort of Jesus which He has given to you for free. All that you need to do is to follow His footsteps, as simple as A, B, C.

Log on tomorrow as I continue on “The Now” theory and faith story.

May the LORD bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you. May the LORD be gracious to you and lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. AMEN.

The Now

Happy Weekend everyone,

Yesterday, I wrote on what I call “The Now”, explaining that yesterday, today and tomorrow doesn’t exist, all that we have is Now. I explained that Albert Einstein propounded a theory very much related to what I explained yesterday, as he said time is relative and that time is just an illusion. I explained how Jesus in Matthew 6 said we shouldn’t worry about tomorrow but that today is enough to worry on its own. He also said that only unbelievers (in the real sense of the word Gentile), worry over what to eat, drink, wear and other things that bring worry, and we shouldn’t worry over all these things because our heavenly Father knows that we need all these things. All these I explained that what Jesus passed across was that tomorrow doesn’t exist only today, in other words only that which we are experiencing first hand at the moment is what exist which is enough worry on its own, and why is that? It is so because we are to do what is right as we are living the now.

Today is a continuation from yesterday. I said that man lives his life through probability and assumption which was why Jesus said we shouldn’t worry over what we are not sure of and let the Big Boy (the Holy Spirit) handle it, who is the only one who knows the end from the beginning. The truth is that our entire life already exists, it is just for us to experience it first hand as the now that remains. In other words, our future already exists but we haven’t experienced it yet, which doesn’t change the truth that our future already exist. This could sound mysterious to you but it isn’t because if it is then you never understood faith all the while this is because faith is simply believing in your future which already exists!

Many times when we say we believe a thing by faith, we often times hope for that thing to exist, but the truth is that that which we think is, would exist thinking it doesn’t exist but already exist. Let me make this clearer; when a message of faith is given to us, many times we believe it through hope and not through faith, in other words, we add it to the list of things we wish we would have if we are being positive, and when it happens we come out to say that it was because we had faith, but all you did was to be hopeful through positivity. What the message of faith is is that there is a message from the future ordained by God that already exist which the Holy Spirit reveals to us either directly or indirectly.

When we receive a message of faith, all that we are to do is to believe it or not to believe; also, there are realms of belief, that is, what we would become if we choose to believe or not to believe, both ends already exist, but there is a path ordained by God for you to follow, but is left for you to follow that path or not, because the result already exists.

In the popular verse of the Bible, Hebrews 11:1, it says, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Three things are key in this verse: “substance”, which means that it exists already, which leads to the second key thing which is “hoped for”, the substance is that which we hoped for, which is now past tense, meaning we no longer hope for it because it now exists. The third key thing is “evidence of things not seen”, which means that even though it now exists, we won’t see it at our now, but we believe that it exist already which we would exist in “the future now” because it already exists! But how do we know what would exist, in the real sense already exist?

If you look at the verse carefully, you will find out that it says substance, which means it is already in the present tense and not in the future tense. Our life is a total package which has happened already! Our life is in the now and this was what Jesus implied in Matthew 6:25-34, which is that we are to view our whole life which already exists now, but how do we do that when we have only a tip of this which we are experiencing it as we live? Only a person who knows the beginning to end would give us our whole life as a whole, which when we receive it and believe it becomes faith.

So, what is the full package of faith which God always wanted us to understand? Log on tomorrow and I will explain this and also continue explaining “The Now”.

May the LORD bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you. May the LORD be gracious to you and lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. AMEN.

The Now (Introduction)

Even though this is coming a little late, Happy New Month everyone,

We all have calendars right, which we use to keep track of things? We have schedules and plans, we use words like yesterday, today, tomorrow, next year, and so on. But I recently found out that time is an illusion, in other words, the dividing line between past, present, and future is an illusion. Who does this sound like? Albert Einstein. According to Physics-astronomy.com Time is actually relative, and flexible and, according to Albert Einstein himself, “the dividing line between past, present, and future is an illusion.” (www.physics-astronomy.com/2016/05/according-to-einstein-time-is-illusion.html?m=1#.Wpht7XXTXqC).

There were scientists who studied Einstein’s theory and were able to confirm that looking at Einstein’s time theory would imply that everyone only has the now and not yesterday or tomorrow. Time as a whole has been presented from start to finish. However, in this case, it wasn’t referred to as time in the general sense, it was referred to as space-time. This also was what I concluded and found out it was what Einstein concluded on. I won’t like to go so deep into core physics so as not to lose track of the reason for today’s write-up.

I said I recently found out that time is an illusion, but my claim wasn’t after studying Albert Einstein’s theory, because my perspective is quite different from his stand, although very similar. As I said earlier, we refer to things of the past, the future, and the present. Jesus in Matthew 6:34 said, “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.” What did Jesus mean here, because this is a very common verse of the Bible which continues from the previous verse which is even more popular, why did Jesus emphasise on today and not about tomorrow?

As we look at Matthew 6:34 with Jesus’ emphasis on focusing on today and not bothering oneself over tomorrow, this tends to contradict the general norm of man, especially when we go back a little to verses 31 and 32a which says, “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’. For after all these things the Gentiles seek. …” By Gentiles, Jesus meant the everyday people outside the Jewish kingdom. We plan our days, we plan what to eat, drink, and wear, is Jesus asking us not to plan, and only think about today?

First things first, Jesus was teaching us of the now, in other words, what He implied was that tomorrow doesn’t exist, we only have the now. The question we are to ask ourselves as we live our “now” is, are you doing the right thing right now? The reason why this should be asked is that we are to do what is right at every time we live. In other words, it’s sort of like doing the right thing at the right time.

However, Jesus was calling our attention to something very important. We are to focus on just the day, which is the “now”. For Jesus to have said we are not to bother ourselves with what to eat, drink, wear and things that cause worry is because He said in Matthew 6:32b, “…For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.” Again, does that mean God would come from heaven and give us all these things? Not exactly. What Jesus meant was that man cannot see the big picture, in other words, man looks at a very minute portion of life which they didn’t know, but it just hit them as they experience it.

Jesus was trying to teach us how to view our life from start to finish with a view, just the way God does. Let me break this down further. Man doesn’t know his “now”, he guesses his “now”, so as he plans, he plans blindly. His plans could appear as though it is a success, but in the long run, and for some, a short run, an error occurs because he uses probability and assumption to live. So, Matthew 6:32b and 34 implies that God knows exactly, for certain, without a doubt, or guesswork what we need exactly, which means we are not to continue to rely on our plans which are prone to errors but rely, depend, trust in a Person who has seen our lives as “the now” and knows everything we are to do at the right time.

I really hope I didn’t confuse you guys with the theory of time, especially with my emphasis on “the now”. Log on tomorrow as I break down the aspect of “the now” in a much clearer view. This is just the beginning which is meant for today’s write-up, however, the proper understanding would be expressed from tomorrow.
