Wow, Like a Baby

If you think God Almighty is like an angry old man holding thunder bolts in His hands, looking for anyone who sinned to strike, guess again. Unlike the wrong impression of who God is, God actually is like a mother who cares for her baby. No matter what her baby does, she so loves her baby.

Zephaniah 3:17 says, "The Lord your God is in the midst of you, a Mighty One, a Savior [Who saves]! He will rejoice over you with joy; He will rest [in silent satisfaction] and in His love He will be silent and make no mention [of past sins, or even recall them]; He will exult over you with singing." Zephaniah 3:17 AMPC. This is a deep expression of how much God loves us, even though it is just a scratch on the surface of how much He loves us.

Zephaniah 3:17 says God is the midst of us, a Mighty One, a Saviour. What this means is that He is like a grown up who we look up to when we walk where bullies are or where wild animals are.

The verse continues saying that He will rejoice over us with joy. What this means is that our presence gives Him so much joy that He rejoices. He depicts One who treasures us so much.

The verse goes further to say that God will rest, and in His love will make no mention of our past sins nor even recall them. This show a loving Father who shows mercy and forgives, (ref. John 3:16; Romans 5:8; Ephesians 2:4; 2 Thessalonians 2:16; 1 John 4:9-10; Revelation 1:5). For Him to take note of our sins shows a disciplined Father. But even when we sin, His love overshadows them because we rest in His love.

The truth about all these is that His love toward us causes us to sin less, because all we see is His love and we grow into it.

Just like a mother is to her baby, even God Almighty does tremendously more. His love compels us to live like Him. He dances over us with singing! What a loving, caring, and great God we have.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!

What Food Can You Cook?

Many people really can't get it why their plan doesn't go right when put to use. The truth is that they really haven't calmed down to understand why they are called humans. This seems surprising right? I'll explain what I mean.

Most times many of us unknowingly focus on ourselves. Things like food, clothing, shelter, financial increase to do anything, all these just based on ourselves. Let me simplify it. All these I just listed are pointing to the person, who is the focus, and this isn't meant to be.

God made us humans, created to be social beings. This means that whatever we do must involve another person at least. This implies that as social beings, the focus in the real sense shouldn't be on us. Then who?

Everyone is born with at least a gift or talent. These gifts aren't to be expressed for ourselves, but to serve others in need of the gift you possess.

Apostle Peter said in 1 Peter 4:10, "Every believer has received grace gifts, so use them to serve one another as faithful stewards of the many-colored tapestry of God’s grace." 1 Peter 4:10 TPT.

Our gifts are for service. There will always be people in need of our service, which is why we are to be in tune with the Holy Spirit to lead to the people in need of our gift in order not to be taking a wild goose chase and getting frustrated at the end.

So, what food can you cook? In other words, what gift has God given you? There are people in real need of your gift. And do not think God hasn't taken care of your needs, as there are people who are sent by God to do so, or create the opportunity for you to get your needs met.

He will never leave you nor forsake you, as Hebrews 13:5 says, "Don’t be obsessed with money but live content with what you have, for you always have God’s presence. For hasn’t he promised you, “I will never leave you, never! And I will not loosen my grip on your life!” Hebrews 13:5 TPT.

So, what food can you cook? There are people who are really hungry for your special cuisine.

What Is Real? (Part 2)

Hi everyone,

Today is a continuation from last write-up on what is actually real. My emphasis in on why Sons and Daughters of God have Jesus as their life literally, which would enable me to properly explain what actually is real.

I said yesterday that when a Son or Daughter of God is sick, the sickness isn't real, neither is poverty in their lives, nor any thing that isn't in Jesus. Why is this so? Let me explain.

The very real truth is that the earth as we know it has lost its life and is decaying. The flesh of man has lost its life also, and is decaying. So, the result of these decay has brought sickness, old age, poverty, death, in fact anything that doesn't contain life.

God told Adam in Genesis 2:17 that the day Adam eats of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, he will die. Adam eventually ate of the fruit and that he died immediately. His life became like a flower pulled out the soil, and you know the beautiful flower pulled out of the starts to die off. This was what happened to Adam, and his actions affected the entire earth.

Jesus came to redeem man from eternal death by giving us an opportunity to have a new life. And this new life is His life. How?

Galatians 2:20 says, "My old identity has been co-crucified with Christ and no longer lives. And now the essence of this new life is no longer mine, for the Anointed One lives his life through me— we live in union as one ! My new life is empowered by the faith of the Son of God who loves me so much that he gave himself for me, dispensing his life into mine !" Galatians 2:20 TPT

Anyone who received Christ Jesus as his Lord has been crucified with Jesus on the cross. In other words his or her decaying life has been replaced with the life of Jesus, (ref. Col. 3:4). Jesus is life and the life of anyone who has received a brandnew eternal life of Jesus.

Now, here's the interesting part. As Galatians 2:20b says Sons and Daughters of God live by the faith OF the Son of God–Jesus. Our existence is based of the faith of Jesus, and not in our faith because our faith in God is unstable. But the faith of Jesus is forever stable because He is life and lives in God. So, all we do is rest on the life of Jesus, and everything that is of Jesus is real, nothing else.

What Is Real?

What is real? We wake up in the morning, we see our houses, the people around us, in fact just everything we experience. But the truth about this is that it's not everything we see that is real. What am I talking about?

1 John 4:17 says, "By living in God , love has been brought to its full expression in us so that we may fearlessly face the day of judgment, because all that Jesus now is, so are we in this world." 1 John 4:17 TPT. The Passion Translation commentary on this verse says, ""because we are what He is in this world."  The verb tense is important. We are not like Jesus was, but because of grace, we are like He is now: pure and holy, seated in heaven, and glorified. Faith has transferred His righteousness to us."

The verse says as Jesus is right now, so are we. And the we refers to those who have received Jesus as their new life, Lord and Saviour. So, before we know who Jesus is right now, let us know what is real.

When a Son or Daughter of God is told that he or she is sick, that sickness isn't real, even though it appears so real. The real reason why the sickness isn't real is because Jesus right now is perfect health defined, and remember, as He is, so are the Sons and Daughters of God. The Sons and Daughters of God cannot be poor because wealth is found in Christ Jesus, and all of Him are who the Sons and Daughters of God are. Those are what is real. But aren't the things we see on earth real?

The things which are found in the lives of some Sons and Daughters of God which aren't found in the life of Christ are because they aren't conscious of the truth that their existence is completely Christ and not what the system of this world says. So, in their spirit is the complete Jesus life, but they need to confess and believe it to activate it or else they would hold on to what isn't true and think it is real and true, which isn't real.

In my next write-up I'll explain what happened to all who received Jesus Christ as their life. There is something we all need to take note of, which would strengthen us to hold on to Jesus as our life.

Don't Be Carried Away (Part 2)

It's a battle, I must tell you truth, this is a real battle.

The Bible says in Ephesians 6:12, "For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere." Ephesians 6:12 AMPC

We are not puppets, we were given the power to make choices, and our choices determine our destiny. No one can make a choice for you, except for where you were born which was according to the purpose, but outside that we determine our destiny by our choices.

The devil attacks us every day and night, directly or other means. But in all God has given us His authority in Jesus' NAME to overcome all the powers of the devil. This is a choice we have to make.

All the attacks we face in this world is for us to be carried away and become puppets as the people of the world who haven't accepted Jesus as their new life. This is not a funny thing, because these guys are headed for destruction, you who have received Jesus as your new life have been planted by God to rescue these people. But the devil is doing all it can to distract you not to complete your mission.

The devil distracts through our senses, as we see health issues, financial issues, marital issues, family issues and more, thus compelling us to confess these issues to life through our words.

The more we focus on these things the more we see them as real, when they're not. The very surprising thing is that when Jesus said we have perfect health, financial breakthrough, blessed children and more, those actually are the real thing, and not the opposite we see here on earth.

What we are to do is to keep feeding our spirit, and we live the life we received from Jesus. True these battles from the evil one are very real, but if we don't know Who we carry on the inside of us, we would just fall like a pack of cards to the evil one.

The last reminder as the verses said above is that all these terrible things we see through our senses aren't the real thing. The real thing is from the Spiritual evil realm, which we must overcome in the Name of Jesus.

All these are reminders on not being carried away. God bless you all.

Are You Preparing For Rain?

I know I must have given the story I want to give now. So, here it goes. Two farmers prayed for rain because there hadn't been rain for planting that period and they really needed rain.

The first farmer prayed for rain from a genuine heart. The second farmer also prayed to God from a genuine heart. But there was something the second farmer did that the first farmer didn't do, he prepared his farm for rain. The question I would ask is, who really needed rain?

We all have reasons to pray to God for thing, or to declare His words out of faith. But we must always ask ourselves if we are ready to receive what we prayed for, or what we declared His words for.

The truth we must always remember is that the preparation is really the work of faith. On other words, it is the works Apostle James wrote of in James 2:26.

Our actions shows where our rest is. When we pray to God we prepare for the result at any moment by our actions. It is a sign of trust and belief.

When we don't prepare, it is a clear sign of unbelief.

Children display this trust through their actions as they prepare to receive what daddy or mummy had promised to give them. The same is done when we trust God.

So, when you pray for healing, do you prepare for that healing? When you pray for that financial breakthrough, have you prepared for it? And several things.

The truth is that as Sons and Daughters of God, God has blessed us with all Spiritual blessings, so we our job in line with these things is to prepare to receive them, because God doesn't receive on our behalf, that is our job.

So, are you preparing for rain?

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!

The Miracle of Dirt

You know I looked at dirt and was amazed over the fact that no matter how we consider it as irrelevant or trash, the truth is that no dirt should be put aside as irrelevant, because every dirt is a miracle. What do I mean? Before I go on, when I say dirt, I don't mean the trash in your home, I'm referring to soil related dirt you find outside.

In Genesis 1, when the Lord God created the heavens and the earth, when He brought land forth, there was nothing on it except dirt! From this dirt, He brought forth trees, vegetation. From this same dirt, He brought forth every type of animal. In fact, everything God made on earth came from dirt including Man, (ref.: Genesis 1:9-27).

Now, Genesis 1:26 says, "Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”" Remember God had been exercising His creative authority in the creation of the heavens and the earth. And He made man in His image, to imply that man has creative abilities as He does, but only on this earth.

The new creation has authority not only earth, but in heaven and under the earth because we carry the spirit of Jesus, (ref.: Matthew 28:18; Philippians 2:10).

So, where am I going with this? In Genesis, God didn't create buildings, cars, aeroplanes, etc. Man did all that, and where do you think he got the materials to do all that, and even more in future? Form dirt!

Dirt is a blessing from God, and we should always thank God for it. A farmer sows in dirt, and later yields a harvest.

We should always give thanks for all things. Dirt for instance is a thing to give God thanks for. Nothing should ever be overlooked. As the scripture say, in all things we are to give thanks, (ref.: 1 Thessalonians 5:18). So, what are you thanking God for?

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!
