Obedience or Hardwork?

Wow! Happy new month everyone. I'm so excited. It's the last month of the year, and I know you'll experience your best moment of the year this month, AMEN.

My last write-up was on sufficiency and all sufficiency. With what I wrote God is the all sufficient one, whose provision never runs dry. And I also said our reaction to Grace is obedience and not hardwork. Today I'll expand on what that statement means. So, read on.

The truth we need to understand when walking with God is that obedience supersedes hardwork. This may sound surprising to some. What God wants from us is our obedience, and not our hardwork. Why is this so?

To know a real man, we observe how hardworking he is. A person who is hardworking is respected. But in God's eyes, a person who is obedient is respected. This is because you cannot be obedient to God if your heart isn't right with Him. There is no way you can serve God without being obedient.

Hebrews 11:6 says, "But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him." The evidence of faith in God is through obedience! There is no way your actions would differ from your claim of faith in Jesus, especially when He says a thing. If He says you're healed, and you say you believe which is a confession of faith, you action must be in obedience to what Jesus said which you confessed your belief to.

Hardwork is man made, and not God made. God never asked man to be hardworking. What He asked man to do is to tend the Garden. And whatever action Adam did before he fell was obedience to what God said, (ref.: Genesis 2:15). When He told Jehoshaphat to place the praise singers ahead of the warriors, it was his obedience of faith that brought the victory and not his hardwork, (ref.: 2 Chronicles 20:1-30). When God told Joshua to bring down Jericho, it was his obedience that brought down Jericho and not through hardwork, (ref.: Joshua 6). Even when our Lord Jesus walked on earth, He was led by the Holy Spirit, meaning He was obedient, and His obedience brought us this great new life.

Romans 8:14 says as many as are led by the Spirit of God are the Sons of God. This can only mean obedience! When the Bible says in Proverbs 22:29, "Do you see a man who excels in his work? He will stand before kings; He will not stand before unknown men.", the scripture was never talking about hardworking people! Surprised?

The diligent here in God's sight are those who are obedient to His word by Grace through faith. When God says a thing, do you take Him seriously or are you nonchalant to His word? It is your heart He looks at to know those who are obedient to His word, that make a move in accomplishing what He said. It is when you are obedient that He gives you open doors, and meets all your needs.

When things aren't always going fine in your life, the question you're to ask yourself is, "am I hardworking, or am I obedient?" Don't be deceived, the devil has made people work their ass out with no result to show for it, and why is that? They were hardworking, but not obedient.

When you are obedient, the Jesus through the Holy Spirit leads you to the right places, guides you through life, and you see how the love of God is shown to you as He cares so much for you.

My friends, it is obedience to God and not hardwork that gets the job done.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!

Sufficiency and All Sufficiency

Hi everyone,

We all have needs, and we all want these needs to be taken care of. When these needs are sorted out, we intend that what was provided is sufficient in meeting these needs. So, what is sufficiency?

Sufficiency is an adequate amount of something,  especially of something essential.

Now, sufficiency comes from a source, but as long as these sources are directly from man, it is limited. For instance, if three children are hungry, two children can sufficiently be taken care of, while the last one would ask for more, but the source is out. This is where limitation comes in when man tries to take care of his needs. But there is someone who says His sufficiency has no end. In other words, it isn't limited in anyway. This is where all sufficiency comes in.

God is the only one who is all sufficient. The sufficiency of the all sufficient God therefore is an adequate provision that can never be exhausted or run dry. He is the God who is more than enough to adequately handle all the needs of all His creatures without running short of supply.

Let me apply all these to our daily lives. When we put money in our bank, it is limited based on the fact that it can hit zero, as you keep on taking from it. But in the case of God, His wealth cannot be measured by human understanding, and as you take, there is no reduction. Even when you've taken, what is left appears as though you didn't take anything.

God Almighty is eternal. All that He is, has no beginning nor end, so are His attributes. As a result of the fall of man, man became limited in everything. And as Jesus who started a brand new life or beginning, started an era under the dispensation of the life of God Himself. In other words, all those who are born of God under Jesus have the God-life. And by having the God-life, we are given the all sufficiency of God as a gift through grace.

Living under the old dispensation of life, our health is limited, which is why sickness, diseases, and other related things pop up. But when we are born afresh, brand new, under our Lord Jesus Christ, we have a brand new life, which carries the Spirit of God. And with this the health of God becomes our health. The wealth of God becomes our wealth, the peace of God becomes our peace, and so on, because He loved us and gave us His life, and all that comes with it. It is a gift, it is not something we work for. If it we were so, no one would have been qualified enough to meet the standard of God. So, this is why it is a free gift from God.

So, the way to gain access to this life of Grace, is just by believing that we have it as we receive Christ Jesus as Lord of our life. And your reaction to Grace is through obedience and not hardwork. (I'll expand more on this point in my next write-up).

He is the all sufficient God, all we have to do is believe in Him, believe that He has done it, which He has already, and has given to us.

What's In Your Pocket?

It's a brand new week, filled with success and divine favour.

Someone came to tell me that he wasn't sick anymore. Then I asked how he knew that, he said his doctor told him he wasn't sick anymore. We also have cases where someone would say he or she is ill, and they'd say the doctor told them.

Before the doctor told the guy that he wasn't sick, he believed he was sick. Then the doctor said he wasn't sick, then all of a sudden, there is this confidence within, a strong sense of confidence that you go out confessing that you aren't sick because your doctor said so. So much faith in the doctor.

Why is there so much faith with people like doctors for health, engineers for buildings and bridges, mechanical engineers for cars, and so on, but no sense of confidence at that level (not to talk of a higher level), with Jesus?

We pray to God for solution to certain problems, or for things to be answered. Then, along the way when we don't see the manifestation, we doubt by asking ourselves, "maybe, it was something I didn't do right" or "maybe I should pray all over again." All these have been the deception placed by the devil for those born again to believe their prayers aren't answer because of what they did. Now, let me tell you what they actually did wrong.

When you pray to God to be healed or for a situation to get sorted out, you are to do this with absolute trust in God in name of Jesus. This is absolutely important because, Jesus carries the highest name; the highest rank; the highest authority there is would ever be. This is the first part. So, what are you to do after this?

Let's look at 1 John 5:14-15, "Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. ¹⁵And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him." The verses makes us understand that the confidence we are to have is that whatever we ask of the Lord accordingto His will, He does it because He hears us.

So, what actually happens when we say a prayer to the Lord God, the devil could bring up doubt, fear, worries and unbelief, to feel we didn’t say the prayer right.

Some could think they didn't say the prayer according to the will of God, (another common deception from the devil). Then they keep repeating the prayers request over and over again, to ensure the prayer gets to heaven. Really, this isn't right!

The question now is, what's in your pocket?

When you become born again, you become born of a new Spirit, and this Spirit is the Spirit of Jesus, the exact Spirit in Jesus. In other words, you carry the exact personality of Jesus, why? This is because you became one heir with Jesus. Anyone born of God doesn't become a new entity, but is joined to the sole entity that was raised from the dead into the perfection of a brand new source of life—Jesus! And this is what everyone MUST remember.

Now because you carry the identity of Jesus in the Spirit realm, all that Jesus has become is who you have become. Why? This is because Jesus died to save the whole world, and when He resurrected, the He gave us every ability He has. So, the focus is not on you, but on Him. Whatever He is, is who you are right now (ref.: 1 John 4:17).

So, take health for instance, the moment pray for health, you need to understand that even before you made that prayer, you were healed. All you needed to do was to accept that you were healed.

So, after you've prayed for healing, you thank God that you are healed. You don't ask God for the healing He has given you, what you do is to thank Him for His health He gave to you. So, what's in your pocket? Health.

We don't know what you carry, but when I ask you what you have, then you say you've got the health of Christ. Then I ask you how you know that. You then tell me, Jesus told me. This is true, because all that He is, you have become.

What's in your pocket? Then you say, the success of Jesus. I ask, "how do you know?" Then you tell me, "Jesus told me."

This is the confidence that we have in the name of Jesus. When you thank God for what He has given you, you strengthen your faith. The devil wants you to resend the request, but Jesus wants you to thank Him for what He has given you.

Let us not forget that grace is a free gift, and cannot be received based on works, but by believing. For with works, we will NEVER meet up to His standards.

What Ingredients Do Your Words Contain?

It's another awesome day, trust you guys are great.

In my last write-up, I explained how words determine action, and I also explained why Sons and Daughters of God don't see any manifestation despite speaking the words of the Highest name—Jesus, and how that can stop.

Today, I'll explain what our words contain that bring about result.

Let's look at Hebrews 11:1. It says "NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses]." AMPC.

The verse says faith is the assurance. In other words, it is the confirmation, the title deed of the things we hope for. These things we haven't seen, but it assures that we have it and is real. The words that we speak functions using faith whether in negative of positive form. So, our words contain life or death in them, depending on which one we focus on.

Everyone speaks using faith, which is the life withing the words. The faith is a conductor carrying an "authority charge" from an authority itself, which varies based on its source.

Now, the faith we all found ourselves is extremely corrupted and filled with sin, as a result of this we can't speaks the words of God/Jesus with accuracy, as a life we can adopt as our new life, unless we become Jesus Himself by having His spirit as our life. This was made possible through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus, thereby giving us the opportunity to be born again, in order to drop our old life/spirit, and pick up a brand new one. And in so doing we picked up the perfect faith of Jesus, which we speak, declare and confess with, (ref.: Romans 6:4, 5:12, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Galatians 2:20).

So, with this, let's take a look at our words closely. Many people believe that it is after we speak that we become. But the truth is that we become with our words. In other words, the becoming is our words. For instance, you don't say you're healed to become healed, instead you say you're healed because you ARE healed. And why is this so? This is so because all that Jesus is, is who you have become. What we do, is to let our soul know this. In other words, you are healed, but your soul doesn't know this! Which is why you confess and declare who you are as the reality.

Your Words in Christ carry power when you know you are what you confess even before you confess it.

God in Genesis saw the earth even before He spoke. As He spoke, it was what it was that we saw. But left to Him, it had been before we saw it, which is why Hebrews 11:1 says, substance, assurance, title deed, confirmation, proof of what we hope for, which we know already is, but the evidence isn't yet seen to others till the words are said.

In another way to understand this, miracles shouldn't be a thing of surprise to us when we declare. But it can be a surprise to others, because they haven't seen it. We have the substance in our pocket, the evidence isn't seen ti we show them through our declaration. But how would you be surprised at what you already know you have? It doesn't flow right? Yeah.

In conclusion, we need to know that Jesus has done it, and the job is done. So, as we confess, we confess or declare to show others what He has done, and they then see the manifestation. And as I always say, meditation on the word of God is key, this would strengthen your understanding to know how to speak what Jesus has done to manifestation.

How To Put Your Words To Action

Hi everyone, I know your week is going great.

In my previous write-up, I wrote on The Power Behind Your Words. And in continuation of that,  I will answer the question I posed at the end of the last write-up, which is to know why people don't see the privileges of Grace despite speaking them based on the word of the Lord.

I had written last time that words give birth to action. In other words, there is no action without words. Words are causes that lead to action, which is the effect of the word said. I also said that words however follow a hierarchical system, based on levels of authority.

Jesus said in Matthew 28:18 that all authority in heaven and on earth have been given to Him. This implies that He has the highest level authority. And those who are His Sons and Daughters, who operate under Him are endowed with authority when they speak.

The authority of Jesus comes to the point where, when a Son or Daughter of God under Jesus say they are healed, then they are healed, or when they they drive out demons, the demons leave. The authority is amazing.

So, to answer the question the know why people don't see these privileges of Grace despite speaking them based on His word. The reason is simple. When you speak the word to yourself or to situations, you unknowingly negate that which you spoke through doubt or unbelief.

Apostle James said in James 1:6-8, "But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he  is  a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways." What he meant here is that anyone who asks the Lord a thing, which includes declaration, should ask with faith, which is the believing that Jesus had done it even before asking. And that man should not have a double mind, or else he shouldn't expect anything from the Lord.

It is kind of like planting a seed, and then taking it up again, then deciding to plant again, and taking that seed up again, thus not making up your mind if you want to seed to be planted or not.

When we declare the word of the Lord, take healing for instance. When you say you are healed, the moment you doubt what you said, what you did was to say, "no, I'm not healed". And all these come as a result of the polluted and sinful world that our soul is used to. So, it is very easy for the soul to adapt to unbelief unless it is renewed, (ref.: Romans 12:2). The mind must know that it is healed because of Jesus' resurrection.

Jesus once told His disciples who could not heal an epileptic boy despite commanding the foul spirit to leave. Jesus said in Matthew 17:21, "However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.”.

Jesus had earlier rebuked them for lack of faith. Which implied they doubt at some point. And prayer and fasting is a time of dedication with the Lord, where renewal of the mind takes place. And when the mind is renewed, the strong will that the infirmity had gone is seen even before you say anything. All because you recognise the authority from which you draw strength from when you speak. Therefore, action follows in line with the undoubted word of Jesus.

Now, some don't doubt immediately, but later, all because they were expecting immediate sign of the words spoken coming to life. What they don't know is that the job was done immediately the word was spoken. An example is when Jesus cursed the fig tree. The Mark's account said Jesus cursed the tree, but they only heard what He said. It wasn’t till the next day that they saw the result of what Jesus said, (ref.: Mark 11:14, 21).

However, in the Matthew's account, the tree withered away immediately (ref.: Matthew 21:19). There is no contradiction. The moment Jesus spoke, the tree lost it's life, but no one saw the result till the next day as the effect of the words of Jesus were seen the next day.

Never doubt when you speak with authority, because it is not with your authority you spoke with. The authority you spoke with is the greatest authority there is. All you need to do after the declaration is thanksgiving on and on for what He has done. This is important because the devil will want to sow seeds of unbelief and doubt to you. You must rebuke it and stand firm on the word that is true. It is a continuous process to ensure that you are committed to the word of the Lord, and consistent in giving thanks to Him. You say it, it is done. This is how to put your words to action.

The Power Behind Your Words

It's a brand new week everyone. I believe your week is already great. How do I know that? It is because I said it. So, today my write-up is on why words are more powerful than action.

The famous riddle on which came first, the chicken or the egg? Is quite similar to today's write-up. Many believe actions are more powerful than words, but that's not true. The truth is that our actions are an effect to a cause, and that cause in every case are words.

Now, words may not always be the sound you hear from your mouth. It could be an image, or a person's look, or something. All these say something, that cause you to do a thing, which is the effect of the word you saw in whatever form, any of your five senses picked.

Right from the beginning, God Himself created the universe through words, everything submitted to His words, or were the effects of the words He spoke, (ref.: Hebrews 11:3). So, the question would be, how so important are words?

Words are the most powerful thing in the universe, however, the level of power or authority is based on hierarchy. For instance, imagine a lieutenant giving an order and a General countering that order. Based on the level of hierarchy, the words of the General are obeyed. The lieutenant doesn't have the authority to counter the words of the General.

So, what come out of your mouth?

Every word said is an authority. Most especially when you are a Son or Daughter of God, and you speak with His words. Whatever you speak comes to life. All the things we see around us are as a result of what we have said. This is because God Himself put the power of creation in every human, as we were made in His image and likeness. So, we need to be careful with our words.

Everything we see around us are past tenses. They are the manifestation of all what we have been saying over time. The power of creation is in your mouth. But just as I said earlier there are words greater than others.

Jesus said in Matthew 28:18 that all authority in heaven and earth have been given to Him. Therefore, those who are born of Him carry His authority, especially when they speak His words, based on the privileges that came by grace through His resurrection.

So, when you say you are healed, then you are healed! When you say you are a success, then you are a success.

The question now is to know why people don't see these privileges of Grace despite speaking them based on His word. Log on to my next post and I'll tell you why.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. Who's Your Daddy?

Hello everyone,

There's never a time I go through the popular Psalm 23 that I don't get inspired. The Psalm is so powerful, that in my toughest times, I gathered strength from it, I'm brought back to to foundation of whose rock I'm standing on.

I went through the Psalm, but the way The Passion Translation put it boosted my Spiritual fire. It went thus, "Lord, even when your path takes me through the valley of deepest darkness, fear will never conquer me, for you already have! You remain close to me and lead me through it all the way. Your authority is my strength and my peace. The comfort of your love takes away my fear. I’ll never be lonely, for you are near." There is no way in life that we won't go through dark times or moments, whether personally, or what is pushed on us for being a Son or Daughter of God.

The verse said even if walking with the Lord takes us through the valley of deepest darkness, fear will never conquer me. And the reason for this was what struck me. The verse says, "For you already have!"

I went like "whaaaat". We cannot be over taken by fear because the Lord Jesus has overtaken us and conquered on our behalf.

There is no situation you find yourself in life, no matter how bad it is, as long as you walk with the Lord, know that His has taken over the situation. His authority is our authority. We walk like a Lion because we rest on the shoulders of the Lion of the tribe of Judah.

We have nothing, all we have is Jesus'. We can never overcome the world with the knowledge of the universe. All we need to do is drop all allow Him do His job. And guess what? He has already overtaken the world, (ref.: John 16:33).

The comfort of our Lord Jesus' love takes away out fear. That confidence to step in anywhere has been given to us. All we've got to do is to take it, receive it, believe it, and most of all, use it. Je is our Good Shepherd, so we've got nothing to be afraid of in any way. Darkness flee from us, not because we're powerful, but because He is powerful and full of authority. So, who's your Daddy?

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!
