Manifesting God's Authority On Earth

Happy Sunday everyone,

Yesterday, it was made clear that God dwells in us, Him living in us is the grace of God given to us, where I explained that the Holy Spirit is a whole package of other things all put together as one. Having the exact authority with God is one thing, activating it is another thing. Today, I will explain how to manifest authority of God in us in our physical world.

Manifesting the authority of Christ in our everyday lives is very important. In my authority series few weeks back, I wrote on this, but there are things I left out which would be added as I explain how to manifest the authority of Christ in our everyday life.

In manifesting the authority of God, we need to first of all know and believe the authority, and this is done on through faith. Faith here in simple terms means to receive that which has been offered by God through Christ, which is why in Romans 10:17, it says, “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” The only way you have access to the authority of Christ is to know about it, and this is done by those whom God has sent to spread this good news [ref. Romans 10:14-15]. There have to be a communication, it doesn’t just come to you like that until someone spreads the message, even through God Himself passing this message, there must be communication. It is when the message has been passed it is then up to you to receive it.

Now, when you look at the second half of Romans 10:17, it says, “…and hearing by the word of God.” This implies that the ability to hear the right message that causes faith in your heart is not from you but from God! The faith you use when you become a member of the body of Christ is not your faith, our faith is so carnal that it cannot take the load of what God has in store for us. So, you need a perfect and pure heart that has passed the God-test and only Jesus passed this test. Again, you see why you cannot boast in your abilities.

Galatians 2:20 says, “I have been crucified with Christ, it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” The KJV made it clearer by saying the life we now live, we live by the faith of the Son of God, thus making clearer that it is Christ’s faith that we use in living here on earth. So, when the scriptures say, “For the just shall live by faith”, it simply means we activate the faith of Christ as we live here on earth. The faith of Christ was one of the several gifts given to those who received Christ into their lives, so we can make use of it as we receive the word.

Now, the faith of Christ in us gives us the ability to hear the word of God which is translated to faith. The word when received is a seed which should be planted and grown in our heart, and how is this done? It is done through the constant meditation on the word of faith which you heard. An example could be a person who is sick, he hears the word of faith which says, “By the stripes of Jesus, you were made healed.” In order to activate this, he needs to meditate on the word in his heart, get it established in his soul, that is, his mind, will and emotion which then translates into the body. Then he has to confess the word as his affirmation on what he stands on which then brings healing to the body. Confession is very important, it brings out and establishes what the heart has concluded upon.

In manifesting the authority of Christ in simple terms could simply mean believing the word and then confessing the word. The believing in split seconds have to do with the meditation of that word, allowing it to become the only truth you know, which of course has been the only truth in the first place.

There are deeper insights in manifesting the authority of Christ in our lives even from meditation, log on tomorrow as I continue on how to manifest the authority of Christ here on earth.

May the LORD bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you. May the LORD be gracious to you and lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. AMEN.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!

The Grace of God is Deeper Than You Think (Part 2)

Happy weekend everyone,

Yesterday, I explained how God has given us Himself as the Holy Spirit through Jesus as the grace of God. The Holy Spirit is a whole package which contains a lot of great things which I would explain today.

Let’s take a good look at the Ephesians prayer by Apostle Paul in Ephesians 1:17-21, the passage talks of how he, Paul had always prayed to God on behalf of the Ephesians brethren that they receive the wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of God. He went further that they receive proper understanding of this enabling them to know the purpose of their inheritance, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.” Ephesians 1:19-21. The entire prayer is so deep, it explains that God has given us the same power that God used to raise Jesus from the dead, the same power which Jesus now has above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but in that which is to come.

How is this possible? You haven’t gotten the reason why this is possible yet? It is because God lives and resides in us now and permanently! We don’t have access to some powers of God, but we have access to ALL the powers and authority of God because He resides in us. We now have power over sickness, over hunger, over wealth, over health, prosperity, over everything you could ever think of and that which your mind cannot ever imagine. This is not just grace, but super-grace!

If you are being weighed down by anything such as your finances, it’s because you haven’t taken hold of what you believe in. You are not meant to fall sick or be poor why because it is not in the DNA of God. It is only the things that can affect Christ that can affect you, as He has all authority over everything, so also you have authority over all these things, but having all these things doesn’t just manifest all these. The question now is how exactly do you manifest all these authority? Log on tomorrow to find out.

The Grace of God is Deeper Than You Think

 Hello everyone,

Today is a continuation from yesterday where I started explaining how great God’s love and grace really is, but today explains in detail what this grace of God really is.

In a past write-up of mine I made reference to Matthew 7:7-11 and Luke 11:9-13, comparing Matthew 7:11 and Luke 11:13. The passage was about when Jesus spoke about the popular ask, seek and knock, then Matthew 7:9-11 says, “Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? And then verse 11 says, “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him! the Luke’s account had a clearer picture of what the good things God gives to those who ask Him, verse 13 of Luke 11 says, “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!” It was then clear that the Holy Spirit is the good things God is ready to give to those who ask Him. All these were before the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus who was the sacrifice that restored us back to God, but before we shout yippee, know what this grace really is or who it is.

The passage we read made it clear that it is the Holy Spirit who is the exact Spirit of God/Jesus, but we can’t gain access to it except through Jesus. Jesus is the grace we have been given because through Him and in Him we have access to the grace God has given to us which is having the Holy Spirit dwell in us, in other words God is living in us. Alright, okay, I’m sure you must be saying things like “I’ve this before I know the Holy Spirit resides in us the moment we accept Jesus into our lives”, but have you ever stopped to think again that for God Himself to refer to this as grace it must be bigger than we think!

Grace again means unmerited, undeserved favour, meaning there was nothing in our lives that we would have done to merit this favour God has given us, not our books or even living an excellent moral life because God said no one is righteous, no one is good, not even one [ref. Romans 3:9-19], so it was clear that God later calling us the righteousness of God through Christ according to 2 Corinthians 5:21 had nothing to do with us at all in any way. The only thing that made us gain access to such great wealth of grace was just by believing [ref. John 3:16].

Look you have to understand that there was nothing we could have done that was worth God giving us what He has offered us today, nothing! The only way was just to believe and we also need to understand that when you call something a first aid box it means an item that contains several items in it, the same is also said of the Holy Spirit, it contains several things even beyond what we can fathom that is Him (Holy Spirit), this is what we need and have to know or else we would keep underrating what God has given to us.

Do You Really Know What Grace Means? (Part 2)

Hi everyone,

I took a look at what grace is yesterday, explaining why many have often overlooked its meaning and had often underrated the enormous greatness that comes with it using Ephesians 3:20 to give a good idea of what it is. Then today I would look at the questions, “How well do you know the grace of God? Do you believe it?” A proper understanding to the answers to these questions would serve as an excellent foundation in knowing how loving and merciful God is, which would change your misconception of how God operates.

Grace as I gave a quick definition yesterday really is all about giving someone something that he or she didn’t merit, in other words giving an unmerited favour. Now, anyone could give grace, for instance if you are a student and you were to be in class by 8am and you came 8.30am, the teacher or lecturer could just pardon you and allow you inside. This is grace from the lecturer, that which you know you didn’t merit in anyway. But the grace I was referring to yesterday which I intend to continue explaining, is the grace of God or the grace from God. This grace surpasses any grace you could ever imagine that even I the writer cannot even express the depth of the grace God has given us.

God has been so merciful to us that none of us were supposed to be alive today just because of what Adam did, God was supposed to wipe out Adam and Eve because of their costly mistake of eating of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil even as they knew it wasn’t right and Adam watching his wife being deceived by the serpent when he could have stopped him and rescued his wife, he just watched her eat of it and also accepted the fruit and ate of it. But because of the love God had for them he chased them out of the garden when they deserved to have been wiped out because they had polluted their spirit with another and had sold their right to a serpent or the devil in real sense, this was grace on the part of God.

The grace of God was to save the entire human race and saving the human race was not just like God saving us and we shouting, “yippee, we’re save!” it was much more than that. Log on tomorrow as I continue from where I stopped today.

Do You Really Know What Grace Means?

Hello everyone,

Do you know what grace is? Do you understand what it does to you the moment you get a hold of it through faith? Many must have heard of what grace can do in their lives, but have they really sat down to take another look at what they’ve actually heard? These are what I have for you today.

I’ve heard people say things like it was my seed that made me get that car or the house or that job and so on. Those who think like this have belittled what God has offered us. I am not saying God hasn’t provided all these things, but if we really understand what God has given to us as grace through faith in Christ Jesus, then we would know that all what we got were just keeping a strong positive mind which allowed us to get what we got, in other words they were just self-effort.

Let’s take a look at the popular Ephesians 3:20, “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us” the Message version put it thus, “God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us.” What God has given to us cannot be comprehended by our own human mind, but many have unknowingly belittled His ability and get only a fragment of His gift of grace.

What is grace? In very simple terms, it could be referred to as free and undeserved favour from God. An unmerited divine assistance given to us through Christ. We don’t deserve anything God has given to us, it has nothing to do with your degrees or how long you’ve worked. It only has to do with your belief.

Let me make it clearer, all the knowledge, wisdom, and getting the best grades or being the best at what we do are not enough to get this grace which God has offered us, which is why it is called grace. So, it then makes sense that what we do, whether in giving to anyone has nothing to do with the blessings we get from God because they are still not good enough. What God looks at is your belief in the grace which leads to your obedience of faith. Doing the work is not the issue, but obeying to do it and doing it is actually what unleashes the wealth of grace.

What is done might not be done by an expert in the eyes of man normally, but because you just listened to Him by doing it you unleashed the blessing. An example is Simon Peter the fisherman in the book of Luke 5:1-11, he had toiled all night and it was obvious that there were no fish, and here comes Jesus asking him to launch out into the deep. It didn’t make any sense but he obeyed and caught a net breaking, boat sinking catch of fish which wasn’t as a result of his expertise, but just because he obeyed. Peter could not claim that it was his ability that got him the fish. This is how grace operates, glory goes only to God and not a drop to yourself.

You could give seeds, but they have to be out of obedience from God and not because you saw a man doing it then you followed suit, this is not how it works. The obedience of faith would always get you more than what you bargained for and it is not your abilities that got you all these, it is simply knowing what grace is and doing what God told you to do and that unleashes this grace. The question now is, how well do you know grace? And do you truly believe it? When you do it affects your entire lifestyle, how you reason, how you live and everything about you.

How well do you know grace? And do you truly believe it? These questions are very important if we ever want to live and unleash the unlimited power of grace. Log on tomorrow as I take a closer look at these very important questions.

How To Plant Your Seed (Part 2)

 Hello everyone,

Yesterday, I looked into how God has given every one of us skills whether in form of talent or gift, from the day we were born, and how these skills are seeds in which we have to plant them. I also explained how many have planted these skills in the wrong place and have been frustrated by not seeing anything in return. What I then explained was that the very first thing to do the moment you recognise your skill is to ask the very person who put the skill in you in the first place. Ask Him what He designed the skills for and how we are to accomplish His perfect will for us in fulfilling this. The process of walking with God is to know how to plant your seed. Today, I intend to go a little deeper and continue from where I stopped.

I’m sure many of us have heard of sowing seeds, like money in the life of a man of God or a ministry in order to receive a hundredfold in return, that is, the money you invested. Well, I’m here to tell you that you are limiting yourself if in the long run it is the money that intends to see an increase in your life as the big thing. Do you really know what planting of a seed really means spiritually?

You must have heard of the prophet’s reward or the righteous man’s reward as Jesus said in Matthew 10:40-42, what did He really mean by that? Let’s look verse 41, “He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward. And he who receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward.”  There was no mention of money here both in the giving and in the receiving, but what is this reward? Let’s look at the verse before 41 which verse 40, “He who receives you receives Me, and he who receives Him who sent Me.” Everything Jesus said while He was here on earth was just about His mission here on earth which was to restore mankind back to God. Verse 40 talks about the carriers of the message of Jesus, those who receive the person are also receiving Jesus into their life, this is the same with the prophet and the righteous man. The reward of the prophet is the ability to receive the anointing the prophet has on himself which would also flow into you. Which means you could also start prophesying.

To receive Christ as Lord, you receive everything in Him, so as the prophet or the righteous man are also in Christ, your actions which is a sign of giving is being invested in their lives and given back to you as the blessing. So, their anointing help opens up that area in your life that is untapped according to the blessing they hold. So, if you think to give to them has to do with finance alone, think again because as you received Christ as Lord into your life, you also received His life of superabundance. The superabundance is an act of believing. Now as you go about doing that which God has called you to do, the superabundance starts manifesting here and there, this is because God doesn’t call someone without taking care of their needs. So, you need to be careful to follow the Holy Spirit so as not to miss out on the strategic locations He has positioned your blessings.

Our aim in giving out in love through sowing seed to a man of God, for example, is appreciating the God in the man, in return you receive the blessing of God through the man, but do not limit yourself to how much God’s blessing would manifest to finance alone because the authority over earth was yours from the moment you received Christ and scarcity ceased in your lives. So, take care of those that God brings your way even little children. Look into others and not yourself because God has already taken care of you, so follow the Holy Spirit and you’ll find out making other lives better make yours better especially when directed and led by the Holy Spirit. This is how you see your seed grow.

How To Plant Your Seed (Part 1)

Happy new week everyone,

For some days, my write-up has been on finance, money and the original establishment of the financial principles laid here on earth and how we can tap into it. The truth is everything laid down by God looks so easy and simple, but it isn’t something someone would just pick up all of a sudden because of what he met here on earth as the norm, the question now is how can I begin my journey to the original principles laid here on earth and how to live that life. This is what I would address today.

The truth of all things by God is that it is so simple and has always been so simple that we have been the ones making things hard for ourselves. As one who intends to begin to live the financial life originally planned by God, the first thing to look at is what’s in your hand. What do I mean by that? Everybody, so far you are a human, have been given something unique, it comes as a gift or talent or skill that you were born with, this is a seed which God has given to you which would satisfy you for the rest of your life, many have discovered this, many haven’t. To those who have discovered theirs, some would have started using these abilities given to you by God but haven’t seen anything remarkable to support their life, the question here is what did you do exactly when you discovered your ability?

As I said earlier, your ability given to you by God is a seed the moment you discover it, and what do you do with seeds, you plant, water and nurture it and watch it grow, actually it is God who makes it grow. So, what is the planting? First of all, you need to know where to plant because there are several seeds needing a particular type of soil and terrain, so, what type of seed are you holding this would determine where to plant it and the terrain. All these are metaphorically spoken, now I would explain it as it is.

Where many have always gotten things wrong is determining where to plant their seed by themselves, take singing, for instance, the moment you discover this gift of singing which God has given you, the first thing to come to your mind is not to start thinking how you could start looking for where to sing or looking for producers or doing anything. The first thing to do is to meet the One who gave you that gift! He is the only One who knows why He gave you the gift and how to make use of it in achieving the right purpose. No matter who you are, God listens, but there is an unlimited advantage when you have Him living inside of you as your life so that when you speak He directs you, which is why you need to accept Jesus into your life because He is the only Way to God.

After receiving Jesus into your life with the Holy Spirit living inside of you which is the Spirit of God/Jesus, you can ask Him to tell you the reason why He gave you the gift of singing. He alone would tell you what to do. Now, planting your gift is to declare the word of God for your life over the gift and then sowing it where God tells you to go and it would be into the lives of exact people God has sent you to. Watering it is to thank God for the success of actions, all these are done by faith, and faith comes by hearing the word and the ability to hear comes from God, so you need to be in tuned with God every second of your life because there are things He would tell you to do that seems unbelievable but the level of dedication you’ve given in meditation on His word.

Your gift is a seed that has the life of God inside of it and when you follow what the Holy Spirit tells you exactly, not trying to analyse it with your human mind, you plant and speak the word of life, which is the word of God over the situation. Now the word of life spoken is the word of faith, the end result, of which you now start thanking God for it, then God Himself gives the increase. He is the one who takes us places beyond our wildest imagination all in achieving His perfect will for our life.

The principles of the earth in having financial success are all hidden in following the Holy Spirit as you walk with Him using your gift. You can’t be broke where God is, because you are a reflection of Him and His wealth cannot be fathomed. He is your consultant, your manager, He is the one who does all the hard work; all you do is to walk in victory. No matter the challenge that may come your way, the more you stick with Him the smaller your challenges become. This is the gospel truth and it would set you free.
