Harnessing His Wealth: Wealth Reorientation

Hello everyone,

Yesterday, I wrote on the topic Harnessing His Wealth (Intro). This was an introduction to the finance series that continues today. Finance is a serious issue in the life of Man that some would do anything to get it straight. Yes, this is important, it is also important even in the life of a Son of God because finance affects almost everything here on earth. But, my take is that there is a way God wants us to harness His wealth. Every Son of God has been given wealth by receiving Christ as Lord. So, today I would be looking at wealth which could bring a reorientation to some.

When people look at wealth, they think of money. And they think it is a thing of struggle; the survival of the fittest; first come first serve mind-set. And yes, it is the mind-set, which is my focus today. Your understanding of wealth affects how you react when you hear the word wealth.

Deuteronomy 8:18 says the Lord is the one who gives us the power to get wealth. Many of us feel it is a scarce commodity, but this was the way Man was shaped after the Garden of Eden. God told Adam that from his toil he shall eat, which requires hard work, don’t get me wrong, hard work is important but hard work again is misunderstood.

First of all, true hard work is commitment and consistency, and not a load of stress on one’s head. Thus the ability to start a thing and to be consistent in the thing. When you look at the way God created the universe, it was through commitment and consistency. A tree doesn’t become a tree overnight when planted, it is through consistency that it becomes a tree, this is where patience, direction, and focus comes in.

Man saw resources as a scarce commodity, and always had the mindset of hoarding it, and the one with the largest amount of hoarded resource is wealthiest. But was this the way God designed wealth to be?

As unique as every person is through DNA, so is his wealth which has been allotted to him by God. It is his or hers and no one else’s, all you got to do is know where it is.

To make matters simpler for us, God gave us the best form of wealth in the person of Jesus Christ, therefore, anyone who is translated into the kingdom of Jesus Christ is automatically born into wealth. Still, the question you may ask is to know how your being a Son of God help you manifest this wealth?

You must take things one after the other. First of all, you must understand that wealth isn’t a scarce commodity, second, you must understand that Jesus is the fullness of wealth beyond our wildest dreams. Your mindset has to change, you need to relax your mind and take it away from the hustle and bustle that the world has created for you.

As I said earlier, wealth when harnessed is unique to each person, and in understanding this, we must know that there is a path which everyone is to take that is also unique to each person. This is the path that allows you to harness the wealth He gave you. If you don’t identify this path, you would continue running about like a typical human trying to transform his financial life, which God through Jesus has already sorted out, but he or she doesn’t know how to harness what was given to him or her.

Apostle James said we should not boast about tomorrow, for we do not know what is going to happen, (ref.: James 4:13-17); also King Solomon said in Proverbs 16:9 that a man may plan his course, but only the Lord determines his steps. What does this mean? It means that first of all our path of wealth is different, so no matter how you plan, what the Lord intends your proper use of the wealth must happen.

Wealth is personal, according to the way the Lord wants it. You may say that is not true and you struggle like mere men. You must identify your path, and you’ll see all your needs met with more to spare. King David, Solomon, and even Jesus identified this path and they never lacked.

Log on tomorrow as I show you how to identify this path of wealth.

May the LORD bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you. May the LORD be gracious to you and lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. AMEN.

Why not accept Jesus today if you haven’t. Pray out loud, “Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!” Congratulations, you’re born again, you are now brand new!

Harnessing His Wealth (Intro)

Happy great new week everyone,

This week brings so much freshness and joy, I feel so happy. And I believe you are too.

Today, I’ll be taking a look at certain things that one way or the other pushes us to wake up early in the morning, put our backs into things, make us have no reason but to get it done. What is it? Your financial life. I wouldn’t like to just say money, but the entire package, your financial life. So, I would be looking at what affects our finances, and God’s view towards it.

So, here is it, money is one critical thing on this earth we can’t do without. I once wrote about how we can live without money here on earth. But today’s write-up isn’t contradicting that stand (write-up for another day). I’m sure we are all eager to know what I’m about to say about finances and how to improve them, but let me surprise you, getting rich doesn’t always indicate God in it. In other words, to be rich or wealthy doesn’t mean as a Christian you must be rich (which should be the number thing to take note of), but every Christian is wealthy, and we must understand that being wealthy is different from being rich. So, just calm down and keep on reading.

God told the Israelites that He is the One who gives people the power to get wealth, (ref.: Deuteronomy 8:18). Now, everything we would ever need beyond our wildest dreams was encapsulated in Jesus and this include wealth. And this wealth is in our spirit, but how do we harness this wealth given to us by Grace through faith.

Jesus never lacked anything while here on earth, how did He do that? We often look at King Solomon and his wealth which God gave him, but one thing we must understand is that even when God told King Solomon that he would be the wealthiest, nothing would have happened if he didn’t do certain things. This is seen in the life of Jesus, where He never lacked. This same principle is given to everyone on earth, but a clearer view of harnessing this wealth with a purpose is what I have put together as a series this week.

I wrote on how to harness the spiritual wealth [blessings] before (ref.: Ephesians 1:3), but this write-up would be broken down further in order to understand the wealth given to us. How to harness this spiritual wealth into this physical world, understanding the purpose of the wealth which gave you the power to harness it properly from your spirit, and to see it work in your favour and the purpose to which God gave you this wealth, and when you don’t see it happen, you would know exactly what you’re not doing.

Don’t forget to log on tomorrow as I begin the finance series and see your financial life get transformed.

There Are Two Worlds

Happy Sunday everyone,

Recently, I’ve been writing on the transformed life, which honestly speaking is the solution to global problems. I always wanted to transform my society, but as I looked at the world, I understood better that it was “normal” for the world to behave this way. I’m sure you’re wondering why I said it is normal for the world to act this way. I believe I must have written about why this is so, but allow me to go through a letter Apostle Paul wrote to Timothy.

Apostle Paul told Timothy saying,

“But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!” 2 Timothy 3:1-5.

This was a prophecy Apostle Paul wrote to Timothy, and the prophecy has started coming to pass.

The reason why all these are happening is because the world is under the fallen world which originated from the first Adam. Let me put it like this, the world is like a beautiful flower that was uprooted from the ground, and as time passed it kept on dying and later started to decay. Adam was separated from God, which was why God told him that of the day he eats of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, he will die, and it happened, and the ground (earth) was cursed because of that also, (ref.: Genesis 2:17; 3:17).

But in all these, God brought us a brand new life that is fixed and attached to God, thus having God as the new life with Jesus being the new life [just as Adam was the beginning of the old life], all we need to do is to be translated to this brand new life and be free from the oppression of the devil.

The cursed life that is in the old life, isn’t in the new life, they can’t be the same. Don’t think I’m writing too much on this matter because it has to ring in our minds that there two worlds, but we can’t belong to both, just as Apostle Paul put in Romans 6:4, to address the point of sin, as he said, “Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.”

This newness of life is in the newness of the Spirit, it is not as a bad boy deciding to become good, but as a bad boy replaced with a good boy (just to elaborate).

There are two worlds, but we can’t belong to both at the same time. One is passing away, while the other is life itself [actually Himself]. And the only way to save yourself is to be translated from the kingdom of darkness, the one we see here on this earth, to the kingdom of Jesus Christ, the kingdom of Life, but then again, the choice is yours to make.

Understanding Spiritual Transformation

Hello everyone,

I believe your weekend is going great. Thanks for always being there to refresh yourself with the real truth. Don’t forget to hit the FOLLOW button at the top right corner of the screen.

Yesterday, I explained why reformation isn’t transformation, and how this affects your Spiritual growth. Today, I would take a look at understanding transformation, as some people do not see any difference with the transformed life and their previous life. So, read on as a clearer view await you, but first, let me tell you a story.

An eagle egg was placed alongside chicken eggs; the eagle egg hatched about the same time with the chicken eggs. Now, because the eagle kept seeing chickens around it, it would keep acting like a chicken, which isn’t its nature. The eagle has the ability of an eagle in it because it is an eagle, but it keeps acting like a chicken because it is ignorant of who it really is. Until the eagle gets to know who it is and its abilities, it would forever behave like a chicken.

Some of us are like the eagle without knowing what it is capable of. In fact the moment you accept Christ as Lord by being born again, we become just like the eagle without knowing its abilities. The question now is how are we to determine who we are, or how do we understand this transformed life? The answer is gotten through diligent meditation of the Word of God and allowing the Holy Spirit we received to interpret the Word to us. The Bible says in Romans 12:2, “Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you]” AMPC.

The Word of God tells who we are in Christ, the Word explains how we are different from the way and standard of the world, just like explaining how the eagle’s life is different from the life of the chicken. The Word is a mirror that reflects our new nature, showing us that we are “Christ’s” in the flesh and not just mere human beings. So, knowing who we really are is the transformation I was talking about. We died and was buried, and another person became our new life, this person isn’t us, it was someone completely new, never seen before [ref. 2 Corinthians 5:17].

This time around, we won’t be like Man under the old covenant who didn’t have the nature of God, rather our new self has the nature of God inbuilt [ref. Hebrews 8:10-12]. Understand that you are completely different. The only reason why you still act the way you were acting before you became born again is simple, you don’t know who you are. That is why the moment you get born again, God has ordained some leaders [Pastors, Prophets, Evangelist, Teachers, Apostles] who would equip you Spiritually, [who must be led by the Holy Spirit of Jesus], making you understand who you are in Christ in order for you to have a firm grip of the Word of God and having a strong foundation Christ where you can’t be tossed to and fro [ref. Ephesians 4:11-16].

As you are transformed, you need to keep studying and meditating on the Word, so as to keep growing, knowing who you are [ref. 2 Peter 3:18]. Once you stop you go back to your comfort zone of the chicken, and in this case, the world who would take your mind and focus away from the Word. The Word is moving against the tide of the world, so it takes courage and perseverance to live the life, God has called you for, of which God at the end would say, “well done, good and faithful servants”.

So, understand that the Word of God is the food you take to feed our new Man to manifest the fullness of Christ you received in Christ. So, be transformed not reformed.

Why Reformation isn't Transformation

Hi guys,

Today, I want to look into reasons why people do everything to be perfect but still fall short even after putting every single rule in the book to practice. Want to know what’s wrong, do go anywhere.

Many times we hear leaders use the words ‘reformation’ and ‘transformation’. These words most times are used when it has to do with development. But what do these words really mean? According to my dictionary, the word ‘reformation means “Improvement (or an intended improvement) in the existing form or condition of institutions or practices etc.”; the word ‘transformation’ on the other hand means, “The act of changing in form or shape or appearance”. The former has to do with improving on what exists, while the latter has to do with a complete change of a thing, or I could say a recreation of a thing. Now you know the difference, the end. Wait! There’s a reason why this is so important and I want you to keep reading.

There’s a story of a chicken who had a dream of being an eagle; this chicken admired an eagle that stayed not far from it. The chicken was ready to anything to become an eagle, so this chicken summoned courage and went to meet the eagle [yea, how did the chicken climb so high? A joke, keep reading, there’s a message]; the chicken met the eagle and told the eagle he wanted to be an eagle and needs to know all that it would take. The eagle told the chicken everything, but the sad thing was that the chicken followed every instruction given to him by the eagle to the letter, but he could act like the eagle. He tried for months and months, but no breakthrough; it was then that the chicken went to visit the eagle again and told the eagle he had tried everything he gave him but there was no breakthrough.

It was then the eagle told the chicken, “The reason why you can never be like me is that you are a chicken and I am an eagle. It is my nature to act like an eagle while it is your nature to act like a chicken. There is nothing you can do, just live your life as a chicken.”

This is where I’m heading, to live a perfect life is to have a life with no flaw at all, which is so impossible unless he lives another life. Wait! Unless he lives another life, this was what the eagle told the chicken unless the chicken was born as an eagle, that would be the only way to live the life of an eagle because he is an eagle right? The same applies to you trying to live a perfect life, you need to be reborn into a perfect, and this isn’t reformation, but transformation which is where Jesus comes in.

Wait, you wanted answers right? Jesus is the beginning of another life, just as Adam was the beginning of life. We all were born into a life that was full of flaws that no matter how much we tried to perfect, we couldn’t be, just because we weren’t born perfect. But when you are transformed into a brand new life of Christ, you can live the life of perfection because Jesus Christ Himself is perfection personified, and being born in Him you carry His Spirit and life, and then you’ll your life become perfect.

The question is “just like that?” hmmm… yes, just like that, but this possesses another question. Some who have been transformed into the life of Christ Jesus hasn’t seen the perfection they were expecting, what could have gone wrong? Log on tomorrow as I look into this new scenario.

Love you guys, keep reading and if you have any question, prayer, or comment, fill free to post them in the comment section below.

May the LORD bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you. May the LORD be gracious to you and lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. AMEN.

Ministers of Reconciliation

Hi everyone,

I know you had a great weekend. If you didn’t, not to worry, I’m sure you’ll have a wonderful week. And thanks for always being there to read my write-up. You guys are great.

2 Corinthians 5:17 is a very popular Bible verse, which says, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” My focus today is on the next two verses which says, “Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, 19that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.”

Verse 17 of 2 Corinthians 5 says, there is a new creation, in other words, a new person, a new person who is different from the regular type of persons we see every day. In other words a new breed of person. Now, this person doesn’t carry the characteristics of the persons we see every day. A new creation would imply new behaviours, characteristics, personality, not of this world.

Verse 18 explains that all things are now of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Christ Jesus. To make things clearer, Adam is the father of a species of people who populated the earth. Therefore, the world had his genes and characteristics, and because of his fall, he was separated from God, which affected the entire world. But a new Adam was formed in the person of Jesus Christ who is of God and not separated from God, which is why if anyone is IN Christ, being born of Spirit under Christ, the old life of the first Adam dies, and a new person in the form and characteristics of the new Adam—Jesus Christ is born (what we call being born again).

This new life isn’t separated from God, and the characteristics and personality the person possesses is exactly as Jesus’, thus reconciliation is between the person and the God the Father is born. The new person is a citizen of Zion and not of this earth, which is why God through Jesus Christ has given us the ministry of reconciliation. In other words, we are sent to this world as Ambassadors to spread the good news that God through Jesus has reconciled all to Himself [has freed us from bondage]. The suffering of a man trying to please God through religion has been done in Christ Jesus. What we couldn’t achieve through our religion, Jesus did it for us through His death, burial, and resurrection, as God is not imputing our trespasses to us anymore, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

In order to activate the reconciliation given to us is to receive it by receiving Jesus as our new life, by confessing with our mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe with our heart that God raised Him from the dead, and we would be saved, (ref.: Romans 10:9), leaving this old life and taking up a brand new life and person who is of Christ.

The ministry of reconciliation is the chief purpose of every born of God, who are sent to earth as Ambassadors. These Ambassadors are who we popularly know as the church. And if any church isn’t spreading the love of reconciliation in Christ Jesus being led by the Holy Spirit, that isn’t a church, but a set of people misleading the world.

Remember, the truth being spread doesn’t focus on imputing people sins against them, rather they share the love Jesus brought in His new life He is offering us because Jesus was made sin for us and we became the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, (ref.: 2 Corinthians 5:21).

Don't Mix Things Up

Happy Sunday everyone,

Thanks for being wonderful readers, and remember, if you have any contribution, suggestion, prayer, or any comment, just send them to the comment section below. Thanks, guys.

I’ve been really concerned about why the world has become so corrupt and some would ask what Jesus really died for. Then I took you down the reasons why this is happening (if you have other reasons aside from my reasons and you want to share them, you could share them in the comment section below).

My reasons, where the church has lost focus, but the world isn’t doing anything different from how it is meant to be. This is because the world is under the evil one, and they haven’t realised that Jesus has freed them from the bondage of the evil one. Also, they feel this is the way life is meant to be, as they see the corruption of the world as a normal life.

Then who is to let them know they are free? The church! This church is a person or set of people who have been translated into the brand new life of Jesus and are not under the powers of evil anymore. They are meant to go round the world sharing the great love of what Jesus did for the whole world and how they could be translated into this new life, but it appears the church along the way created a religion out of it as they were gradually getting distracted.

My summary was that the church is meant to depend only on the word of God with the leading of the Holy Spirit who is the Spirit of Jesus, and not with their human wisdom just because they hold a Ph.D., Th.D, or whatever degrees. Having a degree isn’t bad, but that doesn’t give you the authority to run the church with your degree, rather you are to be led by the Holy Spirit/the Spirit of Jesus in doing what Jesus called for in your new life. We should know that it is not by our power, nor by our might, but by the Spirit, Who in this case is the Holy Spirit.

Jesus told His disciples in John 15:5 that without Him they can do nothing. This is true because it is our Spirit that was completely translated to the Spirit of Jesus. But our soul is still in the process of transformation, and we cannot use an unfinished product to run our new lives or carry out what Jesus asked us to do.

God cleanses our hearts by grace through faith, which is different from religion that sets enforces standards, as it pushes that if you will just act right, you will be right. We must understand that a good heart will change a man’s actions, but a man’s actions cannot change his heart. The moment you get born again, your old Spirit is immediately replaced with a brand new Spirit, which is the Spirit of Jesus, (ref.: 2 Corinthians 5:17; Galatians 2:20).

Just as a tree doesn’t produce fruits the moment it is planted, likewise being born again. Just as the fruit at a certain level of growth of the tree shows what tree you planted, likewise when born again, holiness is a by-product and not the way to a relationship with God.

Let’s not get things mixed up, there must be growth and growth must continue as, without growth, we cannot see holiness manifest on the outside for Man to see. For with God, you became holy the moment you were born again because you’ve taken up a brand new Spirit—the Spirit of Jesus, who is now your new life!

Having the new life and to enable us to walk the path of our new life, we have the Holy Spirit who leads us in the path of righteousness, as we’re now the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. This is what the church should know and understand not just with knowledge, but with their action.

The fate of the world lies in the hands of the church, as the only solution to the world is to be translated into a brand new life that Jesus provided through His resurrection. For this world is condemned and is passing away. There is no point saving it because it is obsolete as Jesus has brought a brand new life. The only thing worth saving and was the essence of the new life is the people. And the church shouldn’t sleep, or be led astray.

There are so many things to write about on this subject matter, but I believe you’ve gotten my major point. Log on tomorrow for another exciting write-up on “What Is The Gospel Truth?”
