Who Do You Let Into Your House?

And it just hit me hard all of a sudden, not like I never knew before, but the view became so much clearer. What am I talking about?

Imagine you seeing some pesky flies outside your house, but close to your door. Of course, you would ensure you door is closed, and any other way the flies could probably come in. And once that is done, you aren't bothered anymore. You go about doing what you were doing, as long as you don't open the door. The same goes with faith and fear. Well, my focus is on fear.

Now, fear is a tool used by the guy downstairs—the devil. It is used as a means to carry out the mandate of the devil. The devil according to Jesus in John 10:10 has a mandate, which is to kill, steal and destroy. And the guy it sends, is fear.

What we need to know is that fear is like a virus that needs to host. It cannot be effective unless it is inside a host. In other words, fear cannot have any effect on you unless you allow it to, unless you open the door and allow it to get in, like the pesky flies. So, the choice is totally up to you.

The devil can never force it's way into your life. The best it can do is to bring mirage or simulations around you. It is then left to you to open the door to let it into your house, or to leave it outside. Sounds so simple right?

Your house is your mind, and fear knocks on the door everyday. But remember, there is also Mr Faith who knocks on your door. One brings the truth, while the other brings lies. Mr Faith always bring the truth, while fear bring lies. The choice as I said is left to you.

One thing you must know and remember is that nothing, absolutely NOTHING can force itself into your life unless you allow it, unless you open the door to allow it to get in.

The Bible says in Proverbs 4:23 "Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life." AMPC. The Easy To Read version says, "Above all, be careful what you think because your thoughts control your life." ERV.

Who are you letting into your mind? If you allow fear into your life, it will torment you severely with lies that would appear real, while faith will release the truth of who Jesus is into your life, and guide you all the way.

It All Changed With a Snap

So, it's a flow, what do I mean by that? Can imagine being in your house, and with a snap of your finger, you're in your office. You flow with it, you're in your office now, not in your house. Or imagine living in a small bungalow, and with a snap of your finger, you're in a huge mansion.

Now, the story of the mansion is that someone owned the mansion before your snap got you there. But the more surprising story is that you found out you are the one, who is the person who owns the mansion. But what you knew is that you lived in a small bungalow, so when did I own the mansion, because the story was that you had owned the mansion and lived in it all the while. Now, I guess you would be confused.

What happened was the person who owned the bungalow and the person who owns the mansion are two entirely different people. And the owner of the small bungalow which you thought was you has passed on, just for you to find out that your snap of the finger changed your entire life history. The history you are know for is that you own a huge mansion. In summary, you have put on a new body.

So, now that you know that you have always lived in mansion, definitely there is a way of life you have, and because of this, you need to know who you really are right now in this new life. The reason for this is because you got to know that the person who lived in the bungalow and the person who live in the mansion live completely different lives. And now that you know this, it is important that you unlearn the life you used to have and learn the life you have right now, since it is now your new nature, and not a fake life.

The more you know who you are now, the more you bring out the nature of your new self you were surprised you had inside of you.

What happened was that snap of the finger didn't just change your location, but it also changed your nature. And the new nature is hidden inside of you. So, the more you get to know who this new you is, the more you find out that, truly you are the man who lived in the mansion.

So, the moment you confessed Jesus as Lord of your life and believed that God raised Him from the dead, there was a snap of the finger that changed your destiny, that changed your life and nature. You ceased being man you knew and appeared to be the man who took over your physical body, and that person is Jesus, (ref.: 2 Corinthians 5:17; Galatians 2:20).

The reason why this is very important is that our old spirit died, and Jesus became our new Spirit. Our soul which carries our mind, will and emotion had the record of the old spirit, but doesn't know much about the new Spirit. And you have obtained the Spirit of Jesus by grace, and all He is, you have become, which is why it is important to know Him through the meditation of the word of God. And the Holy Spirit then interprets the word to you. In other words, He shows you who Jesus is, and how you are now one Spirit with Him, (ref.: 1 Corinthians 6:17).

The business you have is really not yourself, but Jesus, because to know Jesus is to know who you are. The devil would definitely come and bring up things about your old life, but that was your old life, which has passed on, because the life you now live is the very life of Jesus.

You are to fix your eyes on Jesus, who is the one perfects our stand and trust on what He has given to us by grace, (ref.: Hebrews 12:2).

True, we may make mistakes along the way, but as a baby learning how to walk, we pick ourselves up by knowing more of Him, in order to be completely conscious of our new nature, and this is eternal life, (ref.: John 17:3). It's all about knowing Him, and nothing else. The more we know Him, the more we live Him, and walk Him, because we have become Him.

The Labourers Are Few!

What is the essence of receiving the Jesus as our new life, and allowing the Holy Spirit lead us as we mature into understanding the oneness in Spirit that we have with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ? The purpose is for us to be properly equipped to go out and take the world out of their ignorance and enlighten and bring them in the kingdom of the Jesus.

Alright, my reason for starting this way is because some those who are propagate this goodnews are still having issues with their lives when the solution to these issues in actually the message they are propagating. And to make it even more disturbing is that they have come into the new kingdom with the brand new Spirit which they have access to all the power and authority of Jesus who also is their new life.

Why I used the word 'disturbing' is because the devil has so distracted us with its lies and deception. True, the devil is always after us, trying to get us not to meditate on the word of God, trying to make us not to receive divine revelation into all truth in Christ Jesus, doing everything possible that we die physically (as it play on our mind), renounce Jesus, and not understand the word. But the point here is that we have entered into a brand new realm in Christ Jesus that we must not be ignorant of, in order to utilise the full armour of God, withstanding the devil and then pursuing that which Jesus has called us into.

This is very important because Jesus said in John 4:35, "Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!" The world is getting more lost in evil which is intentionally controlled by the god of this world, (ref.: 2 Corinthians 4:4), because it doesn't want the Sons and Daughters of God to bring them out of darkness into the kingdom of the Son of God. So, if the Sons and Daughters of God don't understand how crucial it is to rescue the world, by quit being ignorant of what they have received, by not allowing the devil toss us to and fro by every wind of doctrine (still due to ignorance of the word), then the Sons and Daughters of God would not put on the full armour of God and go about their mission, just because they are being distracted by the very same idiot who hates them and the world also.

Sons and Daughters of God must never forget 1 Peter 5:8, which says, "Be well balanced and always alert, because your enemy, the devil, roams around incessantly, like a roaring lion looking for its prey to devour." TPT. The devil is doing everything possible to slow the Sons and Daughters down from carrying out their mission. The harvest is very much plentiful, but but labourers are few.

Load yourself in the word of God, be Holy Spirit sensitive as He leads you. This is putting on the armour of God. This woul enable you to get to those who have no idea of the goodnews the Lord Jesus has given to humanity, and get them rescued into Jesus.

Is Jesus Greater Than This?

There are times we experience certain situations or conditions in our lives, some of which we could call storms. These things in many ways could bring a lot of discouragement especially when it has been on top of your prayer list. One may say the solution is in Jesus. But this statement isn't something you're ignorant of, and isn't something you have discarded or disregarded. The issue is that the situation keeps biting harder and the hope of strength to keep on holding onto Jesus starts becoming sort of difficult to hold to. If your story seems to appear as this, I'm here to bring you a deeper revelation to what you most likely weren't looking at.

The first thing we need to remember is that Jesus has the highest authority in heaven, earth and under the earth. He has no equal, neither does He have any rival now and beyond eternity, (ref.: Ephesians 1:21). What this means is that when He says a thing, no one dares imagine standing in the way of the word of Jesus, not even standing in the way itself. His authority is so mighty that His name itself is action because it carries power, like a lightning bolt which is an understatement to the power and might of Jesus' authority.

So, why did I say all that? I said all that to awaken the living hope that God has given to you on a platter by Grace through faith in Grace Himself.

With this, let me take you down history before Jesus was glorified to take up all authority, and this was while He was physically here on earth, as a man. If you observed all the challenges He saw (which of course wasn't a challenge to Him), there was not one challenge Jesus didn’t tip over easily, and why was that? It was because Jesus never rested on His ability for a second, rather He rested on the ability of God, whom He carried and was living in Him.

What Jesus knew when He was here, was to see God greater than any challenge that could ever surface. In other words, it could appear as He would ask Himself, if God were here right now, would He tip this challenge over like a pack of card? And since He knew the answer was always a yes because He knew who God is, then it was God and not Him facing these challenges.

Let me explain further, when Jesus asked His disciples to cross over to the other side, where they were faced with a storm, (ref.: Matthew 8:23-27; Mark 4:35-41; Luke 8:22-25), Jesus rebuking the storm wasn't actually Him rebuking the storm, but God. Jesus had understood that He was nothing but God. Only God existed in Him, so there was no Him existing but only God existing. This was the reason why He said if you've seen me, you've seen the Father, (ref.: John 14:9), why He said all I do that which I see my Father do, and not of Himself but of His Father, (ref.: John 5:19), and more.

Now, the reason those who are born again, and filled with the Holy Spirit face challenges that trouble them over and over are because of two major reasons. First, we still think we need to do something, or we need to attain a certain amount of knowledge, like the way we would when we go to school before we could tackle these challenges. This second is that we haven't gotten a real grasp of who Jesus really is in terms of His authority and being one Spirit with Him.

Now, there is nothing you are to do in terms of you acquiring knowledge as a person to use as an entity, rather, you are to be conscious of the fact that has happened, which is that all of Jesus is now all of you (1 Corinthians 6:17), just the way Jesus knew and understood that all of God was all of Him. This is what happens when you become born again and filled with the Holy Spirit. What happens at that point is that you die, and Jesus possesses body, which means that the Spirit inside of you the moment you get born again becomes the Spirit of Jesus. So, there is no you ANYMORE!

What we think is that there is an us who needs to know Jesus, so that we can use the power He has given us to attack the challenges. What we didn't know is that Jesus became us, in a better and true way, Jesus possessed our body. It is our soul which carries the information of the old life that is ignorant or not well informed of who now dwells in your body, (ref.: 1 Corinthians 3:16; 1 Corinthians 6:19; Romans 12:1&2).

Our study and meditation on the word of God is to know the characteristics and abilities we now have. As you see Jesus in the scriptures, that scripture is talking about you exactly.

Today, when you see these challenges REMEMBER, it is Jesus facing these challenges because there is no you anymore. And also remember Jesus is above all things, meaning you are above all things, so command those things to bow IN THE NAME OF JESUS! Even the Spirit realm know Jesus has possessed you, but your soul is ignorant of this truth.

You must meditate on the word of God to unlearn the old things the soul carries and learn the new things of Jesus, whom you have become. The more you do this the more confident you are in taking charge of the authority you have, which is the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Nature Change, and not Behaviour Modification

We're still within the period of Resurrection of Jesus, and 2,000 years ago, the excitement would have be so much. The resurrection of Jesus is the major reason I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Saviour. So, what happened when He resurrected? Well, I answered this question in my previous write-up. But today is a sort of continuation from my last write-up.

There is something so important that we must keep reminding ourselves everyday, if not every second of our lives, and that is what you became the moment you accepted Jesus as Lord of your life.

Jesus resurrected a brand new life, and when I say brand new, I mean brand new, never ever seen before. Just the way Adam when created was a being never seen before, that was how Jesus was, when He resurrected. What this means is that Jesus was a brand new Adam, the last Adam.

Everything that exist has characteristics just as Adam who had characteristics. So, when he ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, his nature was affected, as his nature became a nature of sin, and everyone born under him had the nature of Adam which Romans 3:23 explains to us. So, what was characteristics of the fallen Adam? They include poverty, sickness, old age, diseases, infirmities, depression, etc., and to round it up, death. But not one of these characteristics are found in Jesus.

Some of the characteristics of Jesus include; love, joy, peace, patience, wisdom, wealth, perfect health, and more. And to crown it all up, the fulness of His life.

Now, the point here is that this new life found in Christ Jesus has been given to us as free gift. All we have to do is to receive it. And to receive it is to die, which is to put an end to the old nature of the first Adam, and put on a brand new life and nature, which is the nature of Jesus, (ref.: 1 Corinthians 5:17; Galatians 2:20).

What happens to you the moment you receive Jesus as Lord isn't a behaviour modification, but a nature change. A behaviour modification in a sense could be likened to evolution, but still having the same nature. It could be like a drug addict going to rehab, and eventually quitting drugs. His nature is still the same despite quitting drugs. But a person who receives Jesus as Lord is a completely different person entirely, not a person deciding to quit a thing, but a person possessing the body entirely.

Now, that amazing thing about this brand new life is that the person possesses the exact nature of Jesus, just the way the person's old nature was the nature of the first Adam, and now, the new nature is the nature of Jesus who possesses the nature of God Himself.

We must be conscious of this truth. And to remind ourselves of this truth and to growth in grace and might of this truth, we must meditate on the word of God, which shows you the very nature of Christ whom you carry, and as you know this, the Holy Spirit interprets the word to your understanding, and how to use the authority of Jesus, thus revealing the fulness of Christ Jesus in all you do.

Why this is important is because you are living in a fallen world where the devil is the god, so everything is against you, not wanting you to know what you carry. But do not also forget that the devil is a defeated foe. And this is why it sees you as a threat to itself, and does everything to make sure you don't know whose authority you carry.

Do not also forget, the devil is a liar, everything it bring before you is a lie and not true. It has been striped off every power by Jesus, all it does is to deceive you from knowing what you carry. Which is why you must be founded on the word of God, and be led by the Holy Spirit to express ans activate the power, authority and fulness of Christ through you, because you have His very nature.

Why Do You Look For The Living Among The Dead?

There is no point claiming to be born again or of God if there was no resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. If there was no resurrection then we are still in our sins, and our faith would be a delusion or a fantasy, (ref.: 1 Corinthians 15:17). But there was a resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ who was raised by God and He is alive forevermore.

It is on the resurrection of Jesus that we are certain and assured that we have been redeemed from the bondage of sin and eternal death. It is because He resurrected we know that there is a new life, because His resurrection is the new life life new beginning. It is because of His resurrection that we know that the new life He brought through His resurrection is of life and not of death, (ref.: 1 Corinthians 15:45).

The angels in Luke 24:5 said, "Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead?" What this means is that Jesus had conquered the grave, it means Jesus had conquered death, and had placed death under His feet.

For Jesus to have placed death under His feet implies everything related to death has been put under His feet, things like sickness, diseases, depression, infirmities, poverty, viruses and more have all been placed undeunthe feet of Jesus. And if you are in Christ, you share in that authority of Jesus. So, what would be said of you would be, why do you seek the healthy among the sick; why do you seek wealth among poverty; why do you seek Sons among slaves. This is because in Christ you are the healthy, the wealthy, the Son, the blessed, the light, the salt, the solution, these are who you have become because of Christ's resurrection, and because these are all what Christ is right now.

The resurrection Sunday reminds me of the love Jesus has shown to the entire world, and the brand new life with its characteristics that comes with the full package of having the fullness of Christ living inside of you. So, why do look for the living among the dead? You are the living because Jesus is alive and your life, praise God forevermore!

It's Been CGI All The While

What really happened when Jesus died, or what was the purpose of His death, and how does that affect us?

When Jesus died, He went to hell. The reason why Jesus had to die was because the entire world was condemned by carrying a sinful nature due to the fall of the first Adam. And without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of sin, (ref.: Hebrews 9:22), and this had to be done by a human who was sinless.

Let me make it a clearer. The wrath of God had to be satisfied, because the entire world was sentenced to condemnation or death, the only way to escape this was for someone who was without the nature of sin to die on behalf of of entire world, in other words, the person was to take the place of the entire world as a sinner to be condemned to death, while the world in exchange would get the righteousness of the person, (ref.: 2 Corinthians 5:21).

Now, Jesus' resurrection was the ultimate sign that the sacrifice was accepted, and sin had lost its grip on the world because they have been made free because of Jesus' death.

So now, about CGI, what's this about?

CGI means Computer Generated Imagery which many movie makers make use of to perform stunts, but the background seen which appears so real when the movies are viewed, are actually fake in real life. So, what's does this have to do with my write-up?

The devil makes use of CGI, and it is so good at it, (it is used a the pronoun to indicate the worthlessness of the devil, not being worthy of he or she).

Jesus save the entire world from sin. Now, the moment anyone received Jesus as Lord, the person activates a brand new life without sin. Now, sin indicates death as the end result, and death itself is a package which has sickness, diseases, poverty, depression, pain, anything that isn't in or of Jesus. But despite being born of Christ, things like sickness sometimes pop up, or other related things that isn't of Jesus. The question you may ask is, "what's the point being born of Christ when you still see things that doesn't indicate a sin free life?" The point is that the devil has been deceiving you with CGI. It tells you that you are sick, whereas, in Christ you can't be sick. It tells you that you're poor or depressed, whereas your new born again Spirit can NEVER be poor or depressed. So, what was wrong all the while? It was the devil's deception all the while.

All the devil brings in any form is a lie, just as Jesus said in John 8 that the devil has been a liar from the the beginning, and when it speaks, it speaks lies which is its mother tongue.

Don't allow the devil to get to you because the moment it gets to you, it starts showing you CGI for one reason and one reason only which is to lie to you.

The way you can avoid the devil is simple, study and meditate on the word of God day and night. Ask for interpretation from the Lord God, as this is what the Holy Spirit does when we meditate on His word. The more you meditate on the word of God, the more you familiarise yourself with the way Jesus speaks, and you know who you are in Christ. With this, when the devil comes at you, you identify it's the devil through the discernment of the Spirit.

All the devil brings to those who are born again isn't true, it's just CGI!
