The Customer Is Not Always Right! (Part 2)

Hi everyone,

Yesterday, I wrote on why the customer is not always right because, in the body of Christ, the world has lured the church away from the truth, as they feel they would get more members. The devil has crept into the church and has twisted the true message of Jesus, and many are buying it because they feel it is coming from a renowned ‘preacher of God’. I then said if the focus of the message is not on Jesus in its entirety, then it is not a true message but a false doctrine. I ended by asking how it would be possible to know which message is focused of Jesus and which is not because the false prophets today are full of sweet words that have lured many away from the truth. And this is what my write-up is all about today.

Apostle Peter and John affirmed in Acts 4:12 which says, “And there is salvation in and through no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by and in which we must be saved.” The Amplified Bible. This is the truth, we are not to accept Jesus because someone said you would get that promotion or buy that house or car. Once your selfish wants being met are what someone told you, which was why you gave your life to Christ Jesus, then you are on the wrong foundation. True, Jesus has provided for all our needs and not wants, and the reason why we accept Jesus understanding the love He shed for you in your place, and what we have received through His resurrection, thus understanding that we are all that He is, and not by our making. Also understanding that He is God, He lives in us, you are now the temple of the Holy Spirit, these little things [which actually aren’t little in power], then you are on a right foundation. The focus shouldn’t be on the material things, as these are what Jesus calls additions, and not the focus at all, (ref.: Matthew 6:33).

Being in Christ is Spiritual and not physical, what do I mean by that? In understanding that you are a Spirit being, and you walk with God connecting with the Holy Spirit regularly, then it affects your physical state. The focus should never be on material things.

Everything should be looked at from the spiritual angle, whereas the false preachers pull your focus on the material things and use human strategies, coating it with scriptures with Jesus involved, the focus is physical, and the purpose is lost.

Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 3:11 that there is no other foundation anyone can lay order than Jesus. He also said in 1 Corinthians 2:2 that he has resolved to know nothing as he lives except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. In other words, three things are keys in a true message, which are the focus on Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection, what they truly mean, what they mean for us, and how with His resurrection we are to live. Our life comes from the resurrection of Jesus, and the Holy Spirit living in us as our helper, counselor, comforter, best friend, and direction. It is from this that we know why we exist, how to live, what we are here on earth for, what we are to do, materialism is out completely.

It is from the focus on the resurrection of Jesus that we know how to give, what true prosperity really is, it is with our focus on His resurrection that we would find out that we don’t run after material things, instead, they come to us as we need them to do His work. A false preacher cannot continually focus on the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus, and emphasise on meditating on the scriptures, looking for Jesus in every verse, also by depending on the Holy Spirit, they can never do that. The world doesn’t like the Truth, as I said yesterday because it goes completely against their way of life.

Jesus didn’t come to please anybody, but to bring the truth, and whoever is interested should not hesitate but should hold fast to the truth, because the truth is really interesting. Let us not be carried away by our challenges and miss the truth, because that is what the devil uses against us.

The Customer Is Not Always Right!

Hello everyone,

Business is very interesting especially when things happen to your favour. We see marketing and marketers doing everything to convince the prospective customer or client by doing everything possible to get them to buy their product or services. We also see the customer relationship section where the popular saying, “the customer is always right” is always made. But today, I’m here to bring you a business where the customer is not always right, why don’t you read on and don’t jump to conclusions.

The Message Bible puts 2 Timothy 4:3-5 thus, “You’re going to find that there will be hard times when people will have no stomach for solid teaching, but will fill up on spiritual junk food—catchy opinions that tickle their fancy. They’ll turn their backs on truth and chase mirages. But you—keep your eye on what you’re doing; accept the hard times along with the good; keep the Message alive; do a thorough job as God’s servant.” The church today is doing everything to please the world so that they would find accepting Jesus as Lord interesting. It is sad that the gathering of Sons of God, otherwise known as the church have been turned into a worldly organisation, where members of high calibre meet and discuss how they can get people to give their lives to Christ, but it doesn’t sound bad right? Where they miss it is that they depend on their intellect rather than on the Holy Spirit, this is where they miss it, but they won’t admit it because they claim they prayed and fasted about their meeting. But the truth again is that, all that was just to fulfill all righteousness.

In a country like one where I come from, the basic needs of man hasn’t been met, so rather than focusing on Jesus directly, they turn Him to a 365 days a year Santa Claus who would always provide their needs. But Jesus has provided our needs why could that be wrong? Where it is wrong is that people want to hear more of their desires being met more than any other thing, so in order not to bore people with the truth, they give teachings that are not solid in order to tickle their fancy. Nobody talks on the second coming of Jesus Christ, many of what they teach is on how to make it big here on earth.

They flaunt their houses, their big cars, their promotion at work, and many other things. They link all these to giving, thus saying that it was because they gave, that was why God blessed them, all these are psychological deception. There is less of Jesus being preached and taught in churches today, many leave the truth, and chase a mirage. And this is what the devil wants, and that is why we find disunity in the body of Christ because the truth has been polluted.

 There is pollution in prosperity, there is pollution on why we give to God, it is all a deception which the devil is very good at, but the devil sneaking lies into the church without the Holy Spirit knowing is like hiding a very big elephant behind a broomstick. The Holy Spirit would fish the lies out because lies don’t come from the same source as the truth. The Lord God has said He will never leave us nor forsake us, and He will always provide for our needs. In fact, He has blessed us with all Spiritual blessings in Christ Jesus, but the devil has snuck into the church and polluted the minds of many leaders to please the world to get more members into the church, and have increased offerings, just for their selfish interest, but hide under the name of Jesus.

Jesus Himself said, wide is the gate that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But narrow is the way that leads to eternal life, but only a few find it, (ref.: Matthew 7:13-14). The real Truth is not what the world wants to hear because it goes completely against what they do.

Now, if truly the church is meant to transform the world, of course, that would be where the attack from the devil would be strong, so, watch out! There are false prophets all around you right now. As I always say, if Jesus is not the focus, beginning, ending, middle and everything, that message is false. But really how would you know that, because the tongue of many false prophets is as sweet as honey? Log on, same time tomorrow, as I expose the tricks of the devil to you.

Our Sin Offering

Happy New Week everyone,

The life of man is one which falls into flaws or sinful actions at times, but when Man fall into this sin, he is not happy about this act, so how can he get out of this life of sin. Good news, Jesus brought us out of sin. However, what the Sons of God have, as a thorn in the flesh is sin. But, it is only a thorn in the flesh because of certain conditions which we can overcome and have actually overcome in Christ because Jesus is our sin offering. Let’s find out how we are to live a sin free life.

Romans 7:21-24:

“So I find it to be a law (rule of action of my being) that when I want to do what is right and good, evil is ever present with me and I am subject to its insistent demands. ₂₂ For I endorse and delight in the Law of God in my inmost self [with my new nature]. ₂₃ But I discern in my bodily members [in the sensitive appetites and wills of the flesh] a different law (rule of action) at war against the law of my mind (my reason) and making me a prisoner to the law of sin that dwells in my bodily organs [in the sensitive appetites and wills of the flesh]. ₂₄ O unhappy and pitiable and wretched man that I am! Who will release and deliver me from [the shackles of] this body of death?” AMP.

In answering this Romans 8:1-4:

THEREFORE, [there is] now no condemnation (no adjudging guilty of wrong) for those who are in Christ Jesus, who live [and] walk not after the dictates of the flesh, but after the dictates of the Spirit. ₂ For the law of the Spirit of life [which is] in Christ Jesus [the law of our new being] has freed me from the law of sin and of death. ₃ For God has done what the Law could not do, [its power] being weakened by the flesh [the entire nature of man without the Holy Spirit]. Sending His own Son in the guise of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, [God] condemned sin in the flesh [subdued, overcame, deprived it of its power over all who accept that sacrifice], ₄ So that the righteous and just requirement of the Law might be fully met in us who live and move not in the ways of the flesh but in the ways of the Spirit [our lives governed not by the standards and according to the dictates of the flesh, but controlled by the Holy Spirit]. AMP.

Jesus is our sin offering. If you’re still struggling with sin, it could be because if you claim to live a life as a Son of God and still have sin issues, it means you haven’t properly recognised Jesus as your sin offering. So, what is the result of Jesus being your sin offering? Romans 8:1 is the answer, which says, “THEREFORE, [there is] now no condemnation (no adjudging guilty of wrong) for those who are in Christ Jesus, who live [and] walk not after the dictates of the flesh, but after the dictates of the Spirit.” AMP.

The power of sin is condemnation and condemnation comes from the Law. The Law is like a ladder, if you fail in one, you go back to the beginning. We can’t meet up with the demands of the Law because of our flesh, and it is the Law which strengthens the sin through our flesh, but when we receive Christ as Lord, we get a new life, and we have overcome the flesh. And as Galatians 5:16 says, “But I say, walk and live [habitually] in the [Holy] Spirit [responsive to and controlled and guided by the Spirit]; then you will certainly not gratify the cravings and desires of the flesh (of human nature without God).” AMP. By allowing our new Spirit to take charge of our life, we are living in the Spirit and are not gratifying the desires of the flesh, and by doing so, we won’t be living the life of sin.

We have crossed from death to life and in Christ, we are more than conquerors, (ref.: Romans 8:37). Romans 8:2 says, “For the law of the Spirit of life [which is] in Christ Jesus [the law of our new being] has freed me from the law of sin and of death.” AMP.

I’ll end with this illustration a Pastor friend gave about a drunkard. And it goes thus: The wine is that which makes the man to fall and not the man himself, he is not in control of himself. In the same vein, it is the sin in man that makes him fall into sin and not him who wants to sin. But Jesus has taken away the sin in us and has replaced it with His Spirit which is the Holy Spirit. We all need to understand that Jesus is our sin offering and we are no longer under sin.

Why Is Evidence Very Important?

Happy Sunday everyone,

I observed something which is not really an observation but what is practically obvious, which is that people believe things when there are facts and figures involved to prove what is presented as facts, yes facts because facts are not always true. Now, human beings have been living their lives using facts, but the reason why things go wrong even with the use of these facts is because some of these facts do not rest on the truth. But even though many things presented by God to this corrupt generation may appear not to make sense because it cannot be proven scientifically, He ensures there are facts to prove they are true and real, and who are those to make these happen? Once again, the Sons of God who are popularly called Christians.

In The Acts of Apostles, the third chapter shows us where Peter and John were going to pray when they encountered a man crippled from birth who was a beggar, and looking unto Peter and John, Peter in the process commanded him to rise up and walk using not science, but the name of Jesus, and it worked, the man got up and walked. This was proof that it wasn’t theory that the Apostles were called to do, but practical work with evidence to show for it. Even when the authorities summoned them, Acts 4:13 and 14 says, “Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marvelled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus. ₁₄ And seeing the man who had been healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it.” There was so much evidence that the name of Jesus was not theory but practicality and full of evidence.

Apostle Peter and John were unschooled and untrained, which was the first reason to disprove that something that awesome could come out of them, also, there was evidence of the man who was crippled now standing. Peter and John were full of boldness and they found out they had been with Jesus, because only Jesus could do such a powerful thing. This is why Sons of God need to prove to the world that Jesus is real through their actions in their daily lives. The scriptures says in Romans 8:19 which says, “For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the Sons of God.” This is not in the future but now, because the moment a person receives Christ as Lord of His life the person become a Son of God having the fullness of God dwelling in his being, what is left is to develop his Spirit man till he has full confidence to express Christ in his daily life.

As Sons of God, you are to live your life which is the life of Christ because this life is miraculous to the world. Don’t think you don’t have it in you, because if you say you don’t have it in you then you make God a liar or Christ is fake, but everyone born of God has the gift of God dwelling in his being and he is to express this gift as he lives. This is why there are Spiritual gifts which you are to manifest, so what is your gift? The world is waiting.

The Complete REST

Happy Weekend everyone,

The matter of entering into God’s rest is something that is deeper than you could ever think, and it is important we fully understand it. So, today is a continuation from my last write-up.

Now, Jesus is the only Man who fulfilled everything God wanted from Man, that which no other Man can achieve on their own unless they are under Jesus. Now, while under Jesus what are we to do? Live Jesus!

I said “live Jesus” and not “live like Jesus”, there is a big difference between the two of them, by living like Jesus would imply that you watch Jesus closely, study His life and do everything just Him, but you aren’t Him. But to live Jesus which is the true way to rest in His rest is to become Jesus Himself, thus understanding that your new Spirit who is the real you is the exact Spirit with Jesus and God makes you Jesus, and this is because you are of the body of Christ, for without you the body of Christ is not complete. Now, what does this mean?

Healing, blessings, favour, success, the wisdom of God, knowledge, and many more are in Jesus, and they are now in you on a platter of gold, just because you believed in Jesus and now understand who He is and what you have become. Just the way you have a first aid box which contains, bandages, antiseptics, cotton wool, and other stuff in the box making up the first aid box, likewise, healing, favour, discernment of Spirit, wisdom of God, knowledge, good success, miracles, the Holy Spirit and many more are all embodied in Jesus who is the total package. In other words, to live Jesus means He is now your life, you manifest Him in your going out and coming in. As Jesus said to the disciples in John 14, that anyone who sees Him has seen the Father, likewise, anyone who sees you has seen Jesus, and since God lives in you, you don’t get anything wrong, because you’ve decided to yield to the Father and Jesus lives in you through the Holy Spirit who is your direction.

Now, since God directs your every step because you have His Spirit, who has given you the mind of Christ, (1 Corinthians 2:16), all you’ve got to do is to rest in His REST, because He has done everything for you, He has done every thinking for you, yours is to follow what He has given you, and it is now easy because you have His Spirit, unlike when you had the old spirit, following the Lord God was too difficult to bear because that wasn’t your Spirit, but you have the Spirit of God, therefore, you can live Jesus and rest in His REST, and see the world transform to the glory of God as you transform the lives of others.

Rest In His REST 2

Hi everyone,

Last time, in my first write-up on Rest in His REST, where I wrote on how through Jesus, being our new life, our new Adam, we receive a brand new Spirit, who is the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the One who knows all things, and He lives in everyone who is born of God, and having Jesus as their new life, then the Holy Spirit directs our lives according to the way God our Father ordained us to live as we yield to Him. And in doing so, we allow rest in His REST! But as I said last time, that’s not the full expression of what the rest is all about, which is why today I’ll go further in part two of Rest in His REST.

In entering into the true rest, receiving Jesus is actually the major thing. But do you understand what receiving Jesus as your life really mean? Understanding this would allow you to receive the deal of a lifetime you signed up for. Man in trying to get back to God went through moral training, followed laws, but that didn’t change their spirit, so they became a new Spirit in Christ Jesus right? Right. So, now that Man has a new Spirit, they started working hard to please God, as some would come early to church, clean the seats, greet the brethren, visit people, keep the laws, be good a man or woman in everything they did, but with all these that they did, they still had diseases, attacking them, they were still hit negatively financially, they had addictions, in short, they still had several things they were battling with, but they had given their lives to Jesus and received the Holy Spirit, so what was wrong?

The number one mistake some Sons and Daughters of God make is that they feel God uses our self-effort in order for us to receive His blessings or to receive healings, and many other benefits, this is the mistake. One thing we need to and must understand is that it is not by our self-effort that we are qualified, rather it is by His [Jesus] effort and what He did that we are now and will always be qualified. Just as through the first Adam everyone born under him were cursed with the spirit of sin, which wasn’t through what we did, but what Adam did, likewise, because Jesus, being the last Adam was accepted as the only Man perfect before God’s sight, therefore, all those who are born of Him are justified before God as righteous, not because of what we did, but what He did, this is the true Grace and the true rest, (ref. 2 Corinthians 5:21).

Furthermore, every form of diseases, poverty, depression, and every form of the unfortunate thing that came from the first Adam has been wiped out from you. Your Spirit, being the exact Spirit with Jesus is perfect, your soul which consist of your mind, will, and emotions, needs to know who Jesus really is, in other words, your soul needs to know who your new Spirit is, which has to do with the finished works of Jesus on the cross, and the grace you have received, which when understood allows you to receive the grace through faith and then you start to see it function in your going out and in your coming in.

In the last two paragraph, you’ll see where I underlined the word “our” in the first line. The mistake as I said Sons and Daughters of God make is to feel, God uses our self-effort in order for us to receive His blessings, which I said is wrong because it is through Jesus that we receive His blessings. The truth is that in every sense of our true way of life as Sons of God, receiving the grace of God, thus entering that rest is not by our self-effort at all, which is the use of our carnal mind, but with the use of Holy Spirit, thus resting on Jesus. The Bible says in Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” God alone has a perfect plan for everyone here on earth, thus, a purpose to fulfill here on earth. But Man has tried to achieve his purpose [which he very well didn’t know, but thought he did] here earth but failed and has caused a lot of chaos. It is only the Holy Spirit that can tell us and teach us how to live.

Now, Jesus is the only Man who fulfilled everything God wanted from Man, that which no other Man can achieve on their own unless they are under Jesus, and He is the new and last Adam. Now, while under Jesus what are we to do? Live Jesus!

Rest In His REST

Hello everyone,

Yesterday, I wrote on struggles and rest, which was a look at how Man today struggles over everything they do, whereas there was a standard that was established by the creator of the earth and Man who established principles which Man is meant to follow, but Man, due to his carelessness decided to take laws into his own hands and as a result of that has moved away from the principles established by God the creator and our Father. Moving away from the principles would tarnish the flow of what had been established by God as we can see everywhere around us, unless Man returns to God’s principles in order save the world, thus resting in His REST and this what I would write today.

Many people feel to please God is to follow the things like the ten commandments, becoming morally upright and things other things like that. What they fail to understand is that pleasing God is by the Spirit. Let me elaborate on that. The moment Man ate of the fruit of knowledge of good and evil, his spirit changed, and the spirit he obtained wasn’t the spirit of God, therefore no matter how much he observed the laws and become morally upright, it changed nothing until he gets a brand new spirit from God. In other words, his old spirit has to die in order to obtain a new Spirit, and this was what Jesus helped us achieve. The old spirit was a lineage issue which everyone under Adam was affected because we all are descendants of Adam. But Jesus isn’t a descendant of Adam, in other words, He is another Adam, thus the last Adam who has the Spirit of God, thus having the very life of God embedded in us, and the only way to attain this new life is to believe in Jesus, thus renouncing our old life, by receiving Jesus as our new life, this is where the true REST comes in.

As I said, we all believe struggling is the normal way of life, believing it is the only way to make heads way here on earth. The question now is, is that the original things you are meant to do as established by God. The truth is that the plans for ourselves aren’t blessed, rather it is God’s plans for our lives that had been blessed from the beginning. All we need to do is just to key into His plans for our lives, and His rest. So what is His rest?

Jesus said to His disciples in John 14:16-17, “And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—₁₇the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, believe it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.” The Holy Spirit is the new Spirit we receive when we receive Jesus as Lord. He becomes active and directs our lives to fall in line with God’s plans for our lives. The Holy Spirit is true and is never wrong, He knows the right thing to do and the right place and at the right time. As John 14:26 says, “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.” What could be more restful than a person who knows all things and knows the end from the beginning, who directs and leads you, but this is not all that the rest is all about, there are more which I would explain to you tomorrow.
